Is your controller wired up backwards usually to get the green light at the bottom you have to scroll the controller all the way towards the back seats... And that green ground wire is that from the e brake or the controller itself? My 05 sti is opposite of yours you roll the knob all the way towards rear seats to have it all the way to the bottom green light on the cluster... Just wondering why yours is different...
A question for you man! Would you say you noticed a significant difference between the WRX Brakes vs the Brembos you put on before the STI swap? Currently have slotted rotors, braided brake lines and upgraded pads so not sure if it’s worth it? Making 330 whp currently
As long as its a 6MT from an STI you're good. Avoid buying one from a WRX as it is essentially still the weaker 5MT just with an extra gear. Also make sure you get the STI starter as well. Also if you go with a JDM you don't need a DCCD controller as they are a viscous center (as is any MY01-MY02 6MT) and the gearing ratio is different. What kind of gearing you want is also something to consider for which MY trans to buy. Sorry for answering a 2 month old comment but I hope I helped.
How’s it going with the controller? I did mine yesterday and it was working, today I go switch the car on lights up for 2 sec now none of it’s working.

Did the new cluster show your original miles still?
Milage is stored in the cluster. So it needs to be programmed for correct milage.
