- Another tuning run in the 408 Stroker Fox Coupe. I obviously ran out of fuel in 3rd gear as it nosed over hard and the A/F went super lean. Don't know if I was too low on gas, or if there a fuel pressure issue. Never had this problem before.

thats so ridiculous cant wait to build mine. Against my better judgment I am building a 427 stroker and just hope she is not to temperamental. badass ride man thanks for sharing. Last stroker engine I built was a sbc 388 and it was nasty, in a 2800 G-body Cutlass. Father in law has a nasty 700+ hp 377 destroker I am going through in a 76 Stingray.
Diagnosis...another vacuum leak. Thought I had it all taken care of. Should be out again later today to see if I got it this time.
I love fast cars, but I love power steering, too. Needs an alignment.

Only guage really nessesary i think is a gas guage and an oil pressure guage and temp, sounds docile for a 408
steering wheel would drive me crazy..
How could someone build such a great rig then just boon with a crooked steering wheel

Man, If i had a cowl hood like that, it would be really cool to put the gauges inside of that so they shine through the windshield. I like the vented hoods better, even if they are GMish. I dont care they still look awesome.

Probably a stupid question but what is that digital monitor thing above his oil pressure gauge?
Wideband 02, which is what I was recording these passes for, so I could see the AFR and change jets.

are u for eal with a car like that pullsm8nto a sevuce station does a uturn guns it then runs outta petrol u can hear the pumps singing as he turns and exits the fuel station anyone with motor sense knows no petrol means lean ie 16 and 5hat means damage i meannrealky? comon!

I think i was commenting that with such a powerful v8 that when he did that turn around at the gas satation i could hear his fuel pumps that yes already make quite an audiable sound when running seemed to sing a little bit more than usuall which normally means low on gas,i certainly know it does in my ls2 6ltr motor in Australia and when running out of gas the motor will run lean and that usually means hot, as u guys probably know and i felt for him, knowing good motors arnt cheap and saying perhaps he should have forseen that happening being a car buff but hey all good in hindsight and im in by no means perfect when it comes to running her low on gas☺

It had plenty of gas, The Fuel pump was "singing" because it was an Aeromotive that was loud as hell. Keep in mind, I was playing with jets and trying to get the AFR correct...thus these were tuning runs.

Hey, Ricky V, these were tuning passes. So, I had the camera positioned to capture what was going on with the wideband as I made a hit. I just put the videos up because it was easier to view the data once it was off of the camera. Plus, people seem to "wont" to see it.
