- It was my first time checking out the amazing Alffy Rev and Wonderland Indonesia. I know Indonesian Independence Day is on thw 17 August, so I wanted to react to something special.
This video was incredible and really blew my mind.
I was born in makassar Indonesia.but I live in USA.I’m so proud what do my beautiful country.someday I’ll be back home sweet home Indonesia ❤

Most of the contents of the video are real except for the special effects. Indonesia is very colorful with 17,000 islands inhabited by 500 ethnic groups and local languages. the songs in the video consist of several regional songs, not all of them, only some of the footage in the video as well as regional clothing with headdresses and several types of regional dances including from Bali and West Sumatra. the beauty of nature and pieces of landscape are real and you can see it when you visit Indonesia, even the dragons in the video you can watch live on an island in Indonesia called dragon island or Komodo Island.

If you are curious about why there is some subtitle and some not, because Novia is singing in many different "local languages". It is like a compilation of many traditional song from each region of Indonesia, and the song is uses each of the local languages. If you are aware, you might also notice that Novi is always changing clothes as the song is changing. That means Novi is using the traditional clothes of each region of the song. So, as the song changing in languages, the clothes are also changes.
Indonesia has more than 300 ethno linguistics group, and each ethnic have more than 1 languages, so that make in result that Indonesia has more than 700 local languages, that's why Alffy didn't put subtitle when it comes to traditional song. Because as an Indonesians, we don't even know and speak all of that thousand of languages, but one thing for sure we are share the united language called "Bahasa Indonesia", which means Indonesian language. So if we go all over Indonesia, as long as we can speak Bahasa fluently, we can comunicate to each other. As for foreigner, just have to speak little Bahasa, and English fluently, I think is enough to travel around Indonesia. Because we also can speak English, even though not everybody is fluent in English, that's why if foreigner can speak little Bahasa is necessary to help it.
She sang many local songs from different places of Indonesia. Come and Visit Indonesia. You'd be amazed we have more than 200 local dialects, different tribes and different kind of culinary within range of 80km2.

First half of the song: short verse of various ethnic songs, like when balinesee songs played there is unique balinesee instrument sound and girls with balineese costume; then different ethnic with their signature instrument sound and girls with its ethnic costume.
second half to three/quarter: playing indonesia declaration by the first head of state from 1945 recording , then some nationalist song mixed with tech sound
last quarter: just epic nature and mythicals theme of Indonesia.
Things that Alffy unable to portray is indonesia food and culinary. Also out of this world! Recommended to add to your bucket list 😀

17 august are the only day that can make every indonesian feels as a one nation, they're very proud about their independence day, just for the note, indonesia are very diverse country, it might be the most diverse in the world, they got so many island, religion, tribes, languages, and 17 august are the most sacred day there, the day that make everyone forget about their differences and celebrating it as one big family..
