- In Enlisted's latest major update, "Jungle Fire" major update, the Soviet Allies faction in the sweaty Berlin campaign gameplay got the new AS-44 Model 5 added, also called "the poor man's AK-47", but is it good? Is this weapon submachine gun actually worth it or not? What tips and tricks, weapon guides and tutorials can be provided to best use this weapon? What about gameplay and advice with the gun? We test it out on the streets of Berlin maps during World War 2 (WW2), and decide whether you should grind and level up to get it. Is the new AS-44 Model 5 truly worse than you think?

Should've been a gold order weapon due to how rare it was during the war,
main problem of AS44 is that it is PAPER WEAPON, model5 is literally 1 gun produced by HANDS!, all versions of as44 7 guns produced EVER!! paper weapons shouldnt be progression weapons, there are golden orders,premium squads, action weapons and squads. Game literaly looses WW2 vibes, of cause it is not balance issue!! Dont forget that campaigns will be merged soon. And we will see not even preserial gun, that is literally handmade artifact, in the hands of every second soldier even on 1941 battlefield.

Now you can play as a Tiger II in Normandy and Battle of the Bulge and get 15 tank kills.
the sprint speed boost with the bayonet is actually suuuper useful and I prefer it over the premium AS-44 for that alone :)
Yeah you can melee with it when it gets rough and you run out of ammo. Plus you get sprint speed, vitality and vertical recoil perk on Assaulter3s and it's nuts how crazy this gun is combined with better perk loadout they can get compared to the Premium AS-44 squad. Only interesting thing is that prem squad can get both vertical and horizontal recoil perks that make the gun point and click but still that doesn't outvalue vitality and sprint speed. I'd basically run the AS-44 m4 with vert/horizontal recoil combo until you unlock Assaulter3s and AS-44 m5 then I'd run 3x Assaulter squads with Assaulter3s with each 4x AS-44 m5 and vita/sprit/vertical perks.

Technically the ak-47 is in enlisted. Through the modern combat event. A shame there's no campaign actually using it; I'd love a Vietnam campaign
Probably not, it's a ww2 based FPS game. It would need the Devs to model new weapons for a Vietnam campaign and won't fit into the merge

@@GrenedearProductions half of the weapons are already in there. It's mostly the vehicles and balance that would be a lot of work to get right. And yeah for the next few years improving what is here is more important. But can the game really survive without interesting new content?
@@cwilken826 true, but there is still more to fix and there are more campaigns and maps that can be added in the game so even if they add, it won't be in a few years

I don't know Major the As-44 can give the Federov a run for its money. Its has lower recoil, a bigger magazine and it has a bayonet.

Does anyone know how to use the Grb-39 anti-tank weapon from Tunisia and the keybinds that they have?
i tend to equipp my soviet assaulters with federovs and ppsHs for primary and secondary, federov is great for all ranges but can struggle to clear out rooms due to its ammo capacity, thats where the ppsH with its 71 rounds and heavenly firerate comes in handy, the AS 44 is a very good weapon, but it mildly getsbeaten out by its rivals in both factors
0:15 the modern Kalashnikovs are actually using 5.45mm
it call AK-74 which use 5.45mm, but the Russian still use 7,62x39mm
@@haiangnguyen2528 incorrect. AK 47, AKM is 7,62x39 as well as AK 103,104,109, 308 and Ak 15.
AK 74 (all types, so AKS, AK 74M and many more, but funcionally its tha same gun) AKS 74U (aka krinkov for some reason),RPK, RPK 74, AK 107 and 108, AK 12 is 5,45x39.
AK 101,102,108 and AK 19 is 5,56x45.
Russians primarily use AK74 (all variants) and recently adopted AK 12, older AKMs and AKMSs are issued to some but mostly due to shortages of rifles on the front.
Also, it is worth to mention that many countries of former soviet block developed their "own" AKs, such as Bulgarian AKK/AKKS, East Germany MPi-K/MPi-KS, Finnish RK 95 TP, Romanian PM md. 63/65 or Polish KBK AKMS, Tantal or Beryl (that one is 5,56x45).

I believe it's so they can balance weapons in future, like adjusting recoil multiplier to adjust actual recoil without changing original stats. Idk, just guessing, and not sure why they need it to begin with

3:29 Just a quick question about perks. Are you team horizontal or team vertical recoil?
Horizontal is better on the most guns since gun kicking up is much easier to control than moving left and right all the time unless recoil is predictable and kicking only in single direction then whatever
@@Dregomz02 Yes, I agree with that. But there are some TH-camrs (mainly Quadro) who think that vertical recoil perk is better because you get 10% more reduction, that's why I'm asking.

Because Federov uses a bigger bullet and has more damage.

Even worse, there was only 7 of such gun ever exist! Yet, they let the Soviet equip the whole army with that gun!

As44 is a direct upgrade to stg44 with better rof, dispersion and bayonet
At this point, they should just give the US M-16 and give a middle finger to the Axis side.
Most of the Soviet guns are direct upgrades to their Axis counterparts

I thought the federov was the best assaulter weapon until I unlocked the mp43 or stg for axis
At this point there is no accuracy in the game anymore

Conders MG is a gold order weapon, you can't equip a whole squad with it. People wouldn't complain if Darkflow simply made AS-44 model 5 a gold-order weapon.

It would say they are in same tier with STG44 but axis main keep complaining about how powerful soviet never know how powerful tiger tank is and stg44.
As someone who play both sides, i say the only difference is Axis op because people play axis more than soviet, berlin currently unbalanced
How about Soviets got T34-85 as a starting tank which is capable of 1 shot even up to Tiger 2 and Federov which is even more powerful than STG44?
@@macobuzi And the Germans start off with the Panzer IV J. Which can only penetrate very specific spots on the T-34-85. Whereas the T-34-85 can basically penetrate anywhere on the Panzer IV J. Hell, even the Panther G and Panzer IV/70(A) can barely compete with the T-34's. It isn't until you reach level 31 for the Tiger E that you then really compete with the tanks that Soviets get at level 1 and 12
@@LeleiTheTigress Panzer 4 J is a freaking pain with it snail turret traverse speed. I can't even bother playing it in Normandy let alone Berlin, yet, Gajin made German boiz play it against T-34-85.
If they really care about game balanced and willing to break historical accuracy like what they did with AS-44, they should really make Pz 4 (H) or even Panther as starting tank for German.

All you need to know about the differences between AK obr 47 obr 49(or type first) and AS-44 is that the only thing the 2 share is the mag and ammo, everything el;se is completely different.
AS-44 has almost no recoil in-game while using the same ammo as AK-47, which makes it even more OP than an actual AK-47

Soviets still lose really bad but atleast as44 makes slightly more fun . I got 4 days on both sides 90% win for axis and only 60% win for Soviets

Yes, the AS44 is game breaking BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER USED IN COMBAT NOR DID IT SEE SERVICE PRIOR TO THE NAZI DEFEAT. Holy crap just because it was designed before the end doesn’t mean it was in the conflict. I have some books in reference to the AK47 type 1, as44 and the MP43/STG44 and the history of the assault rifle and Submachine gun in the Cold War and it’s used today. The AS44 was not issued or used, it had a lot of errors and flaws. Type 4 and type 5. The type 5 wasn’t produced until 1946 because they couldn’t get the stampings correct. kalashnikov’s type 1 milled was successful in trials and thus why it became their choice in the trials. AS44 lost out. It’s simple. Dark flow just wants to milk the players so they can grind to the end and then have a merge so it will be more incentivized to spend money in game to compete with a weapon that did not exist in the battlefield.
Never understood the hype behind the Federov. I think the STG is definitely better because the simple reason is that it’s a lazer the second you buy it you don’t need a max leveled soldier with recoil perks and you don’t need to upgrade it to slap the entire enemy team. The Federov on the other hand can you say the same? NO! I’ve heard everyone that’s used it say it has recoil and you must upgrade it. Therefore I feel the STG is definitely the better pick since you have the ability to lazer better then the Federov and that’s a fact just use a one star Federov and compare it to the one star STG AND YOU WILL AGREE💯💯💯
Federov use a bigger caliber than STG44. Hence, more recoil but more damage.

The allies had no need for direct counter to STG, now they got it anyway, its an brilliant example of one big stupid soviet bias, the weapon that never existed and with bayonet for soviet banzai charges, overall when i see how fedorov is even more OP to this made up scifi post war AR that never existed on large scale in a first place and will be available for everyone and owned by everyone sooner or later, this game really starts to appear like total crap... Really axis cant posses something different or better than soviets ? Oh i want H&K G3 for germans then, just in case ... cause you know .... reasons ...
