2 of my favorite albums EVER. I’m 21 so these came out in the middle of my life. Graduation came out and took my life over. I grew up without a father so my uncle would pick me up every weekend and we’d go to Montgomery. We blasted Graduation for months and I didn’t give a fuck. Carter 3 was 7th grade, was the only CD my sisters owned it was burned from limewire-windows media, 10 miles to school every single morning. We’d sit in the car until the album finished then go to breakfast. Fam....I listen to these shits now and just tear up sometimes. Really shaped the way I listen to music today. Glad y’all did this. Salute.

Lil Wayne had a greater appeal on millennial hip-hop fans and probably more loved by the urban community than Kanye album at this time to me and helped bring a new wave to modern hip-hop. He also solidified his place as a rap legend with this album. His lyricism is some of the best we’ve ever seen and is definitely the King Of Punchlines in my opinion,but once again Kanye had the more ground breaking production and still the undefeated king of samples. Overall both albums get a 10/10 from me in quality and impact.
