The best thing about leaving the organization is reclaiming all the time, money and emotional energy saved that was formerly wasted on "friends", busy work, constant study of the same information, clothes, grooming, car washes, fees, contributions, lost wages, gasoline, free labor, coolers, tablets and anti depressants.

@@mrsbfield2445 Yes, look at the way the governing body lives at world headquarters. I got to have lunch in headquarters when I went to visit when they were in Brooklyn, they live like kings. All the food they serve is made from scratch, it was very delicious I have to admit. While some pioneers are on food stamps struggling to give all their energy to the organization so that the top leaders live like kings

My family has been JW for more than 100 years. I left in 2000 during a District Convention in Brighton UK when I realised they were using hypnotic language. I didn't know anything about hypnosis, I just happened to feel it on that occasion for some reason. Then I snapped out of it and felt like I was watching like an unimpressed supervisor. And I sat there knowing exactly how the talk had to go to keep everyone under. I knew when they were going to go light, go dark, go scary, go comforting etc. After a while of this, I absolutely freaked out and stood up and yelled "No!" over and over at the top of my lungs and pointing angrily at the speaker. I stormed out of there in a rage, and never went back... until the next day when the fear and guilt got me. But I sat through the whole second day in the same state just watching like an outside observer. By the end of the second day, I knew I was no longer a JW and that I was right to be out. I've been out for 24 years now. Almost every day, I have new realisations about the evil at work there. I don't think time heals this wound at all, and you have to gain new knowledge all the time to prevent the wound becoming infected.
Great job with your hypnosis videos. Very true.

We couldn't ever afford hotels. My dad used to beat my mom, and brothers. He would break tvs , the tunes because he thought what we were watching wasn't his idea of good TV. It's been proven that WT does get kickbacks. It's the reason they tell JWs to stay ONLY at the hotels on the recommended lodging list.
Also, remember a few years ago when WT was "suggesting" to JWs to donate to WT the rewards points they get by using their credit cards? Really? So now WT wants JW's airline miles and purchase points? Where does it end?

Brother, they did this years ago when they featured a sister in an iron lung who was supposedly still getting "time" in, to make others feel ashamed who were not getting 'sufficient' time in their 'healthy' condition. I remember the kingdom hall we built in upstate NY back in the late seventies (through sweat and free labor) was sold in the late eighties to a Muslim group for their woeship services! We were flabbergasted, because we had to now double-up with another congregation. Keep up the good work! You are opening many eyes.

They always treat their members like children. The governing body always talk as if they are teaching children in slow condescending way. I suppose JW's are like children they are not mature grown up adults with critical thinking they just do as they are told. When you talk to people as if they are stupid it will make them think they are stupid. My JW parents always treated me like I was stupid for not believing their rubbish. This caused me to have low self confidence as they were always watching out for mistakes I make and amplifying them to validate their opinion of me rather than giving me advice and sharing the wisdom of their experiences like all good parents normally do.

I’ve stopped talking to my bro , he’s become dangerous. Courts gave me his daughter till he does better. My cousin who is a JW found out and we were at our aunts house and she started with that slow weird talking on how I need to get back with my brother and make amends , I said sure thing as soon as you start talking to your dis fellowshiped brother who choose religious freedom instead of being told what to do . I've debated many JWs online over the years, and it's like trying to reason with children that aren't very bright. Almost immediately, these JW "adults" devolve into name calling and tantrums when you disagree with them, offer evidence that makes JWs look bad, or don't accept their ideology. It'd be comical if it wasn't so pathetic.

That whole arena from top to bottom has to perfect. You cleaning the mirrors and a JW inspector checking your work is just mind games. That person has no authority over you and if you properly clean a mirror or spit on it. It’s merely putting you in your subservient position while ensuring you’ll feel compelled to come back next year and help out again. Nobody is telling me what hotel to stay at. I have hotel points and if I have points to stay at a 5 star hotel, that’s where I’m going. One more point is the parking lot. It would take an hour just to leave the lot, because the parking lot attendants didn't know how to direct traffic. It was just crazy and insane.
Our car would overheat. You couldn't turn it off as they kept us in a small crawl, super slowly moving. It would be super hot and keeping the air conditioning on was making the car overheat worse.
It was so infuriating to me. We had been at other events in the Colosseum and the attendance there could get the cars out in a reasonable time. That never happened at a JW convention.
We finally just waited for an half hour at least before we even went to our car. Oh I also forgot the blocking cars in on top of each other. I totally forgot that, they would park the car's so close to each other you couldn't leave even you wanted to. When they did that you had to just sit with your car idling or else they couldn't get the cars to move.
My heart is just racing right now remembering the nightmare it was 😢

I’ve been to other churches that have a big choir and our kids were there when they were little and it was not toned down. That’s what a junior church is for. You are so right about women sitting in the car waiting on the husband, but not just for conventions and assemblies.
When we were first married I didn't have a clue what it was like to have an elder for a husband. I from experience would never recommend it.
My husband was serving where the need was great in a small congregation that had tons of problems. I had to sit in the car, many times until midnight or 1 in the morning after the school and service meeting.
You're so right, I honestly felt like I was a dog just waiting to be taken home. What hurt more than anything was there were families that lived by us and they refused to give me a ride home.
Also we served at Bethel for 2 and a half years. Never once in all that time was I ever thanked for giving up my life and moving 3000 miles from home. I was just told over and over and over that I was just a good for nothing slave and what I was doing was what I ought to be doing. I now volunteer in my community and every time I leave I am thanked over and over and then even sent emails thanking me yet again.
Also I thought at the time I was at Bethel I was there for the 90 Sands building, I thought I was there because Jehovah was speeding up the work and needed more living space for the workers. It's now clear that 90 Sands was just built so they can flip it. When I think of that and what I gave up to be there it honestly just hurts my heart.

    • @Livelifewell777
      @Livelifewell777 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

Unfortunately yes, through not as an elder. He was an elder for 32 years. He had been one for 10 when I married him, so I had the "privilege" of being an elders wife for 22 hellish years.
It was pure torture. I honestly hated every minute of it, but I was such a true believer that I just gritted it. I had people over for dinner all the time. Fed the speaker every time it was our book study's then service group's turn. Then right when they cancelled the book study was when I by mistake found out we had 3 pedophiles in our hall 2 in our service group.
I was livid. I had these men in my house for dinner with small children. 30 people sometimes. It would have been so easy for one of them to take a child off to the basement or somewhere with no one noticing.
First of all I just felt very betrayed and hurt. All the elders knew I had come from an extremely abusive family and they purposely put these men in our group. My husband swears he didn't even know. I know some of the elders with small children were not even told so I do believe my husband when he says he was not told.
I instantly went to the CO and asked if it was true that I would have to take the child rapist in service in my car to strangers doors. The CO was furious with me and told me in no uncertain terms that YES I would and I needed to get a handle on my emotions. I lost it. For the first time in our marriage I asked my husband to step down as a small group overseer. Through they did try to get him back.
One day at the meeting for service one of the pedophiles was going behind the counter to hand out territories, the other elders including my husband didn't see him doing that. I lost it and went to my husband and said he looks like he's a servant how would anyone know he's raped children one being his own daughter when she was just 5 years old. My husband went up to him and told him to never do that again. The pedophile shoved my husband. Another elder stuck his finger in my face that morning telling me I was causing divisions.
The next weekend the CoBE called my husband who by the way was still recovering from having a major heart attack while he had been conducting the school a few months back and the CoBE said he and another elder just wanted to meet with my husband after service that day for a few minutes to discuss what had happened the week before.
I just knew it was going to be an ambush but my husband said no the CoBE wouldn't do that to him.
I was right unfortunately 😞 All 10 elders were there, they kept my husband there's from 1 in the afternoon until 7 that night. My husband said they just tore him apart and one of the huge reasons was because of me. One big thing was I was not in subjection enough.
Everything you are saying is spot on in your videos. This is indeed a very dangerous religion or high control religion or cult. Whatever you want to call it, it just evil and very dangerous.

Their reaction was silence! They hadn’t noticed that, and the bible verses…well, my impression was that they had conveniently ignored them.

I remember hearing there use to be small break away study groups what would get together and study the the watchtower, they did an article on it discouraging it. Now I know why. Also I think thats the real reason they got rid of the book study at peoples houses, because outside the congregation people weren't under as much hypnosis and started to think for themselves at the book studies. Thats probably why they got rid of them

Sorry for all comments (last one) I agree with everything you are saying. I felt so dumbed down, sleepy, and I would say on the way home: What did you learn? nothing really.I also felt very alone even though my family and so called friends were there but lonely as in NO deep conversations or deep thoughts as everyone was afraid to talk about anything more than what we were told to think or talk about. I can remember feeling very unhappy and sometimes miserable and depressed but could we tell anyone? NO one to tell or talk to as they controled every aspect of our lives. 100% Mind Control and this is what the globalists (Illuminatii) do as they are all in the same cult just different titles and approaches. They are the 33 degree masons and research Charles Taz Russell he was a branch from the top masters. He had and also the watchtower had so many illumitti symbloys on all the literature. Charles was buried in Pittsburg with a 5 foot prymid by his gravesite and he had allocated for the rest of his Bethal buddies to be buried there also.I also read he sold a pice of the granite from the same quarry that his prumid came from sold a small piece for $100 to the fools that bought into that. I saw a chart with the illumittii, Masons at the top and Charles at the bottom right corner showing who the leaders areand how it spreads out to all religions and societies and clubs are all attached whether they know it or not. Satan doens't care who you worship as long as we do not learn the truth. Thank you very, very much for all your energy and great work as we do appreciate it all. Maybe you want to explore the link to the top of the pyramid where it all started. I tried to find the chart that I was speaking about but not able to but it is out there.
