Your right, I'm just so grateful I snapped out of it, it's scary when we are out and we look back inside and realized we were all total brainwashed slaves
As for the sisters, they demean them in many ways. I remember when my husband was a servant and I applied to do the prison ministry (you have to have a letter of recommendation from your elder body) the elders met with my husband WITHOUT ME THERE to ask HIM why I wanted to do it and how he thought I'd react if they said no. They told me to wait six months and go out in service during midweek more since they needed help covering the territory. The reason I wasn't doing that was because they were so cliqueish and I couldn't stand being in a car group of essentially everyone related to eachother and ignoring me. Anyways, this elder had the nerve to cite "headship" as the reason that he didn't ask me those questions directly.
I know what you mean, I think many elders take out their frustrations in their personal life on woman in the congregation. There's a lot of mistreatment of woman
This Months Governing Body Update #2 repeated repentance 120 times but the Name Jezebel brought me to tears as it brought up the trauma of being called that by my judicial elders. The elders that knew about CSA and still punished me while my home was ripped apart. This video made me sick, it brought up so many images, I relived the trauma I felt as the 14 year old reporting the SA and being cast as a gossip. That update is over whelming is so many ways.
@JWbrainwashingmethods I'm not ready, I couldn't handle negative feedback. I'm getting bolder, I shared it briefly on Tiktok I'm still processing and understanding what happened. Eventually I will get there.
@@Justjenrc Take your time and that first step on tiktok is awesome. You probably wouldn't get any real negative feedback. Any negative feedback would probably be fake watchtower trolls, not real genuine people
Well that means the watchtower is getting paid from the vendor for the full clean that otherwise the facility would have paid it's own crew at full price. Probably another case of we worked for free while they got paid or a big discount
If that's what's going on, it still shows watchtower doesn't care about their members. Cleaning is a big job and whoever does it should get paid. If watchtower volunteered the JW's behind their back for a discount, it shows lack of respect, the JW's are tired after the convention, and spend hours stuck in traffic after. They shouldn't have to work after the convention. It's slave training
I would like to know why everyone is pinkish toned in the pictures. It seems beyond and these JW publications is the only place I’ve seen it. I’ve read some of the little booklets left at my door and they’re very basic and elementary. They’re reaching for a certain demographic.
As for the cleaning of convention centers, the employees do a shitty job. There's dried soda and popcorn caked on the floor. WatchTower also does this for a discounted rate on rental. Where I went they always got the least demanded weekend and they got it dirt cheap, like $5000 per day.

That could be part of it, but they take it do the extreme, as long as nothing is damaged or stained, they would get their deposit back. Witnesses are trained even to clean invisible spots, to mop the whole floor even if there's nothing on it
@@D.J.W.B. They even had my poor old aunt, who is in her 70’s, cleaning the auditorium. If you go to a concert, the band doesn’t make you come early and clean or stay after and scrub toilets. It’s like a punishment. And the people cleaning haven’t even done anything wrong. They’re told to quit their jobs if they can’t get time off for those stupid conventions.
Hmm, this just reminded me of this documentary I watched about the Osho cult where they had these people working for them cleaning and labour by the end of it they were like training with with guns.
Not sure if I mentioned the sceptor Jesus is holding looks as though it's made out of wood. It most definitely is not iron as the demons are holding. Why does it matter? This illustration is rendering Jesus powerless. There's no comparison, wood vs iron. Something I didn't catch before. I'm sorry if you already have and I missed it. But it's as significant as the demon hand in my opinion and worthy of being mentioned.

I don’t believe that for one second. My son’s in college friends work in arenas and large venues on the weekends to make extra money. They work insane hours every weekend. From a liability standpoint of the venue, I cannot imagine any venue taking the risk of waiving cleaning fees for a certain religious group that cleans the building. He made a very good point. After Covid, cleaning rules for public places has changed.

I think what @aspenenglish4976 is trying to say, is not that JW's didn't clean, she obviously knows that but wether or not witnesses are obligated to clean, and I think she's right, I don't think they have to. Watchtower may have made business agreements behind their back, but never would someone renting a venue have to clean, its because watchtower is making them do it, and maybe they do get a discount for it, but the individual members are not obligated to clean it, it would only be that watchtower volunteered them without asking
