Beautiful video. Gorgeous cockpit and amazing landing.
What I have noticed as the aircraft get more advanced, the simpler they become. Look at how clean and uncluttered that flight deck is. A 777 is even more sparse. What is going on in the computer control room is like something out of a sci-fi movie, but the actual interface that the pilots have to deal with is quite simple. Compare this to a 747-200 and you will see it has thousands of buttons, dials, gauges, switches and levers. I find that fascinating. Even the paper and binder clutter is reduced by 80% by the use of digital charts and checklist.

Who mentioned anything related to that. Who denied it being from the earth, obviously we didn't get these materials from an alien civilization, we obviously got them from Earth. The beauty of it is how we manipulated each thing to work perfectly with one another. This doesn't mean that we're gods, it just means we used resources properly. What's the problem with that?

I enjoy watching those airplanes flying too low over my old home to prepare for landing, if i'm lucky enough i would see the tyres going down, obsessed with flying since i was 10 because of this home. I still sometimes goes there just to enjoy my silent hobby again

As an Australian peacekeeper with the US taxpayer funded Multi-National Force & Observers (MFO) in 1982-83, I lived in Cairo and often used the old airport. It was always a surreal experience. Underneath the old airport there was a huge storage area for lost items. It was like the warehouse in the movie 'Raiders of the Lost Arc' Things had been there for years. There were washing machines and even a big rocking horse. WTF? At an airport? Yes, living in Cairo at that time was a surreal experience. That said compared to living in aggressive Israel, as I also did, I found Egyptian people to be far more pleasant and friendly. Egyptians really are very nice people.

nice video, I loved Eygpt when I went there a few years ago, keep thinking I would like to go back. One observation is neither pilot has their hands on the yoke these planes are amazing really the level of technology is phenomenal.
Sadly thats the problem too much technology cant be good, the plane pretty much landed by itself with pilot assistance
@@RonaldrDeleon Yeah look at the 737-max when technology was the cause of 2 fatal accidents by the seems of things. The Air France crash though where all the technology confused the pilots who didn't know what to do. Just my opinion but technology can be good but you want the backstop (human) when it does go wrong to know what is going on.

Do you have manage speed on the 787 like Airbus aircraft? Or for approach and flaps extension you must manually select your speed ?
