As an half Asian woman, I would like to say thank you. This has been going on since the start of the pandemic and no one is talking about it! You are the first famous non Asian person I have seen bring light to this. My mom is from the Philippines and I worry for her daily. Elder Asians are being attacked for being Asian. Sadly during the attacks people just stand by and do nothing to stop the violence. The attacks are brutal no warning given. Most of the victims were blindsided. Its teenagers and grown adults beating either elders or women. I live in New York and it happens here! People will yell and scream at our elders as if they started the virus. It doesn't matter what type of Asian you are, if you look it then they attack and nothing is being done. Our elders helped make our future they should be respected. When they say ask them if they are ok they mean if someone is harassing, bullying, and attacking them. Because during those moments no one intervenes or steps up to help. Obviously don't put yourself in harms way but call the police make a scene with your voice most attackers will stop at that point. My mom came to this country legally and has worked her butt off from the start. She has half a foot (taken when 2 teenagers were racing and one came up on our lawn running it over) battled cancer and survived poverty. All to possibly lose her life or be injured by an ignorant individual. This type of violence is never ok and it baffles me that the news and social media outlets do the bare minimum coverage possible if even that. I have seen dog adoptions get more publicity than savage attacks on human beings. When will people wake up? If they are doing it to women and elders soon it will be children. They go for who they deem weak enough to attack. I just showed someone the other day the amount of attacks in the last month alone. The abusers are people of all colors and walks of life. From respected business men/women to young teenagers. Where do I see the coverage on it...the Asian groups post it..thats it really. Thank you Trisha for taking the time out of your day to say something. Just doing that alone helps.
"The abusers are people of all colors and walks of life." - And this right here is the exact reason why you will never get this issue under control. When you follow the court proceedings or watch the videos of violent attacks there are certain patterns easy to identify. The perpetrators are the same people who are attacking black transwomen and are never called out for it. It's outrageously evil to blame the crimes of one race on an innocent other because it's trendy or "politically correct".
@@eylulay1840 really? after multiple women were killed for being asian? these are hate crimes, not just “dislike”. please don’t downplay this awfulness
I used to dislike her, but holy shit, after today's episode, she is very caring, a very talkative personality, great for the podcast, a very sweet person to me. She broke me when she talked about Asian hate crimes, no other famous entertainers are talking about it, so my god. Appreciate her.
Something about the shot of the two cars next to each other with them talking and laughing together right at the end just made me really happy. They are the most unlikely duo but seeing them become genuine friends is so beautiful to me.
I've rewatched the podcast a lot, but each time I get to this episode again I feel so emotional. This will always be my favorite one. Them being friends in their matching frenemies Rolls-Royces laughing, talking, and eating in and out through the windows together is just...the best thing on the internet and it makes me so sad that it's gone.
She looks so much happier since removing Shane, Ryland, and Jeffree. She's becoming so much more socially aware, learning a second language, taking accountability for her past transgressions by ACTUALLY changing and allowing people to be upset with her, and she's in a healthy relationship with a partner that understands her BPD and helps her work through episodes. I'm glad to see her grow.
this is such a mundane moment at the end. two people in a parking lot talking and eating. like i’ve done that. it’s so real and sweet and i’m broken about how things turned out
I think Moses was being cinematic at the end, like what a beautiful end to an episode. Two enemies turned friends sit in their matching cars eating food and talking, the camera backs away slowly, the sounds of their laughter grow faint and the camera fades to black. ART
I know the end made me so happy. Moses is underrated. I also love how some stupid internet beef bc of insta pictures transformed Trisha’s life and created this absolute gold.
Right? I think that is the worse kind of man to be honest. I cannot stand an overly cocky man. 😂 Theres a difference between being confident and being cocky.
That backup shot Moses took at the end made me tear up. They were so happy, in a moment where nothing else mattered aside from their conversation and laughing together
This was better than any movie, the ending when Moses zooms out to the matching cars and you only hear them laughing in the background is fucking beautiful
LMFAOOOOO in the unedited version that they post a day early for subscribers ethan and trisha started to drag moses and then moses came back and zoomed in and they talked for a couple mins then it ended. I thought it was great and i’m so glad the public version kept that as the ending😂😂😂
I’m so happy Trisha talked about the Asian hate crimes happening in our country right now. It’s crazy how little people know because the media refuses to cover it.
Why isn’t the media covering it? I get why it took them years to cover BLM properly bc it’s about the police and Americans love police but I don’t understand why they are not covering the rise in Asian hate crimes?

So much respect towards Trisha for speaking about these Asian hate crimes. Literally no one is speaking out on this and Trisha is the only non-Asian influencer who is spreading this. Love you Trisha, this means a lot
it's not really spreading awareness they point the finger at the wrong people. watch any of the recent videos of attacks on asians and tell me if you really think they're being done by trump supporters.
It means so much for non asians to speak to their peers about this. Cos us asians get constantly gaslighted about our experience w race and we’re taught never to press the issue/swallow the pain and humiliation from our own people so we can keep working hard and make our parents proud. Thats why regular people like ethan are ignorant to this (dont blame him at all, theres literally no way for them to know cos media is silent and asians would rarely bring this up to other races)
Notice Trisha doesn’t get offended when Ethan mimics her, she did when Jason did in an old video. They genuinely are friends and she doesn’t see him as a threat.
Jason was weird and stingy and was with her so he could be more popular. He even made her pay him back some juice she bought. Told her to venmo him something like 5 bucks. So freaking stingy.
THIS was my favourite episode. Talking about random shit and drama and then an insane athletic challenge that had be actually tearing up with laughter, and then Ethan buying a CAR??? Wtf. Such a hilarious episode. Anyone who thinks this show is just waiting for Trisha to have a breakdown doesn’t understand this mastery.
Exact proof to people who been saying this podcast popularity depends on whether or not Trisha having a break down. No it’s not it’s so entertaining on so many levels
ok, but the way that Moses automatically comforted Trisha when someone pulled up beside them because he knows she gets anxious was so sweet. I love to see Trisha in a healthy and loving relationship :,)
this episode was elite. we got multiple locations, two rolls royce’s, an in n out appearance, and trisha propositioning adam sandler with half a million dollars. p.s. i’m so down for a “with peace and love” design element and a frenemies mug in the merch drop.
The ending with Moses panning out to view the pink and black Rolls Royces, with Trisha and Ethan happily babbling away in the background, was pure art 💫✨
I would NEVER want frenemies to end but the way they ended this video with them laughing together in their matching cars after such a journey of breakdowns and makeups, this video would've been a perfect end to the show or maybe season 1 of frenemies
When moses walks back with the camera as trisha and ethan are talking it almost feels like it's the finale of the whole show, all the drama has been wrapped up, they're friends and got matching rolls royces, it was so sweet
And after ethan ask him to go back it's like a sign that dispite all the conflict being gone, there's plenty of show to go. If they were writing this it would be a great season finale
@@Wooplot he’s wanted it for a long time, they’ve definitely talked about it over and over. From what Ethan says, he never spends money on anything, he clearly has the money for it :)

When Moses was pulling back the camera to a wide shot of y’all sitting in the cars and the conversation faded into the distance that shit was so cinematic
Can we talk about how much you hear Trish genuinely laughing? She's laughing so much throughout the whole episode and I love it. Her finally being happy is amazing.
I think the show, being in a healthy relationship, being around good and decent people, and therapy have worked out great for her mental health. She's been through a lot of shit in her life. More then most. She'll struggle at times, those of us with mental health issues do, but I think she finally has a healthy support system. And people are finally believing her!
The way Trisha was hesitant about the idea of a douchebag of the month and then Ethan was clearly like, ah I know how we can hook her, "it's Bryce Hall". And instantly she's all in. 😅

@@crystaltan6471 yeah I don't think so. I don't think BLM is stunting any other social justice from taking form. a rising tide lifts all ships. media is shitty, they only care about stories with traction, rather than being the first to try and get a new story off the ground. it's a reception risk, and they play that game with real life events that sometimes get swept under the rug from the current. that's a problem for sure. the system we get news from lends itself to letting injustices occasionally (or maybe even frequently) slip past the public consciousness. it's gross I also agree that agenda gets in the way as well. of course a channel as biased as fox isn't going to report on white on black crime every time it happens, this is just one example. a lot of new sources are unreliable bc of this. idk the solution
@@crystaltan6471 it isn't about one suspect, it's about the huge spike in hate crimes against Asian people. It's honestly super disingenuous to pit the two groups against one another; we can know that it's wrong for police to disproportionately murder black citizens while also knowing that people shouldn't be attacking Asian people because of their race as well.
@@crystaltan6471 It isn’t BLM’s fault we’re overlooked. The fact that the suspect was black is irrelevant since any asshole could’ve done it. The news isn’t covering it simply because Asians are overlooked in general. I’ve even heard other minorities say Asians don’t count as People of Color.
Honestly as an Asian living in the US right now and seeing our people getting hurt it breaks my heart :( I'm really thankful to Trisha for bringing up this important topic. We need to talk about these things and figure out a way to help others
The ending 😭. I feel like it was one of those moments where you snap out of dissociation & realize you’re laughing with a real friend, having a real laugh & it sinks in a little bit that life is getting better. 😭😭 Like in that moment none of your mental illnesses are weighing you down but you don’t realize until you’re driving home appreciating the day.
I actually really liked Moses’ camera work at the end. When he backed away, you should have edited it to just have the shot fade out, with Trisha and Ethan faintly talking as the best of friends. It seemed like the end of a movie the way he did it. Legit.

Stay safe gurl im so sad this is still happening
"The abusers are people of all colors and walks of life." - And this right here is the exact reason why you will never get this issue under control. When you follow the court proceedings or watch the videos of violent attacks there are certain patterns easy to identify. The perpetrators are the same people who are attacking black transwomen and are never called out for it. It's outrageously evil to blame the crimes of one race on an innocent other because it's trendy or "politically correct".
My friends are being spit on in Toronto because their asian. It’s disgusting

it's not really spreading awareness they point the finger at the wrong people. watch any of the recent videos of attacks on asians and tell me if you really think they're being done by trump supporters.

I don't think BLM is stunting any other social justice from taking form. a rising tide lifts all ships.
media is shitty, they only care about stories with traction, rather than being the first to try and get a new story off the ground. it's a reception risk, and they play that game with real life events that sometimes get swept under the rug from the current. that's a problem for sure.
the system we get news from lends itself to letting injustices occasionally (or maybe even frequently) slip past the public consciousness. it's gross
I also agree that agenda gets in the way as well. of course a channel as biased as fox isn't going to report on white on black crime every time it happens, this is just one example. a lot of new sources are unreliable bc of this. idk the solution

@@crystaltan6471 ah yes because it’s BLM fault 🙄
Legit that’s the most illogical conclusion ever.

Trisha: he called me “bro.”
Ethan: who, me?
Trisha: no, the Rolls Royce guy.
Ethan: oh, I saw that.
Trisha: he must know that I’m non binary..
I haven’t even gotten to this part of the podcast but just picturing Trisha say that made me cackle

TRISHA YOUR HAIR IS SO PRETTY!!!
It’s not even and it’s making me so mad 😭
Her uneven braids are irking me lol
Omg ana!!
But what about your hair baby ? Damn I’m tryna holler
So cute
Honestly as an Asian living in the US right now and seeing our people getting hurt it breaks my heart :( I'm really thankful to Trisha for bringing up this important topic. We need to talk about these things and figure out a way to help others
where do you originate from? :D
Does anyone know why? This is so sad!! Praying for the world, the people getting hurt and the families of those who passed. :(
samee it makes me so happy that trish spoke up about it
@@ashleeg409 a lot of racists blame asians for COVID, so they take it out on any asian they see.
It makes me nauseous, especially that they target the elderly! So sad and messed up.
Legit.
Agreed. The editor missed out on an excellent final shot
Yea that did start to feel like a legit movie ending...
I know it looked awesome
i looved what moses did at the end w the camerawork :)
I think every part of it, from Moses flexing his cinematography skills to Trisha and Ethan laughing about it made it the perfect ending
Trisha: You think *insert extremely famous and hard to reach celebrity name here* would come on the show?
Ethan: Oh definitely
Trisha: 😃
Legit the best part every time
i kinda fall for it sometimes too ngl
He always says that lol and Trisha gets so excited haha
Lol love it 😆
I know, every episode. Love it

And then when someone else drives by and they both look she says something about always having to keep a look out. Moses can barely hold back laughter. It’s all so wholesome. Which is not anything I thought I’d ever say about Trish in the many years I’ve been watching her hahaha

Ok this is definitely dramatic but like...I'm legit devastated this show is over 😢 like this show was incredible and the way they bounce off of each other was amazing. I wish they were at least friends still. But, I truly miss this show and I'll keep rewatching the episodes over and over again lol
