Hey, we all have less than amazing sessions. One thing I notice when I go from playing much bigger games back down to medium stakes, I tend to punt pretty hard. It's like I forget that players have far fewer bluffs and play much tighter, so I forget to adjust my strategy accordingly. Cheers man. Good luck at the tables
Let’s go buffalo! I felt for you after the last vid with the 20k loss. I too got crushed recently, that’s how it goes in this game . If it were easy everyone would do this .
Sam! Regarding the pocket 2’s bottom set hand, how come you chose to go big on the river instead of maybe a small sizing that he could both call *or* bluff raise? Just curious since you really seem to know what you’re doing!
Seems like he was using intuition but if I had to take a stab at it, probably bc his range is split between mid values that block or bluff catch, and garbage/misseds/nuts which goes for a big size
when explaining the bluss at 12:39 you say holding the ace makes it more likely that the villian has a bricked draw. doesnt that make the hand a better candidate to call, i always thought it didnt make sense to raise a bluff because you are not getting called by it
Dude. This is a minor setback. You are the greatest poker player that ever lived. You are going to win so many crowns it's going to be ridiculous. You are the perfection of the study-poker era which has actually had several years to develop; and you're its King.
that intro music is maybe the most bewildering piece of music i’ve ever heard and i’m an experimental musician
Likewise, I am working on a doctoral thesis in atonal music and the intro made my entire week. Who tf invented this
Yo the music sounded like it was played in the wrong key or something 😂. Great vlog tho 🫡
Great call with ace high.

Thank you for all of your content from Florida! Love your series always
1:10 as someone that experiments with different background music, I feel ya, but that was not it 😂
It was not well received 😂
Honestly you’re probably one of the best vloggers keep it up sam❤

Tuff sesh. Just curious what was the thought behind min raising? Lot of 3betting I guess?

What's up with the min raise opens from every position but the BTN?
Straddle vs BB A8 hand is nice.
I have a hard time adjusting to just how differently recs vs regs play this spot.
Would not have put the guy on a triple barrel bluff. Jeez
loved tha intro music sir sam
Hi Sam, great video! How do you like the Florida game? Is it good? Since it is tight… not many recreational players?
Miami is filled with euro regs
