It was a great call gluing the eye open. I wasn't sure how that was going to look when you first said it but I actually think doing that completely fixed the issue. I am really impressed with how she turned out, awesome job!

Yesterday I found a kit (just had to stuff the body) for $1. Curled her hair overnight and she looks like "Boo" from Monster's Inc. She is a Springfield Collection kit doll. I think both of the dolls originally sold for around $30 but am not sure. This is such a fun new hobby for me!

Goodwill is amazing. I got one for 1.49 at a Goodwill Outlet where ANYTHING is one dollar and forty-nine cents a pound. I'm going to use it as practice for customizing dolls. My question is why would someone write the price on her foot? That would tick me off because they made the condition of the doll even worse XD. Very cute! We find some awesome stuff at Goodwill - currently a Disney "Anna" doll that my daughter found for $1.01. She was in great condition except her hair is a tangled, ratty mess... I can't figure out how to fix it!
a standard OG doll is $25 dollars. however, a doll that comes with accessories (a book, extra clothing, hair chalk ect.) costs $30 dollars edit: that underwear is our generation underwear, i have 2 OG dolls and the underwear is too small to wear so i dont even bother

How did you smooth the hair? We've tried conditioner and fabric softener. I even took a slightly warm curling iron to it and boil washed it but it's still frizzy. Don't know what else to do.

I couldn't tell if that was a human brush, but if it is, the oils in humans hair frizzes doll hair. Use a doll wire brush, no Human and no plastic brushes. just a tip. :)
