- It comes a time in every nugget's life, when it has to be checked by the official body of the state in ordered for it to be allowed back on the road. I am of course refering to the yearly tech inspection, which is undoubtedly a stressful event.
However me and Jeff have both put a ton of work into the blu and the redd, so we were not worried (ok maybe a lil bit).
In this one you'll see us finishing up a couple of things on both cars and then sending them on their way to be inspected, technically...

i have become emotionally attached to the twongos
my family's twingo got stolen this week, we managed to get it back a few days ago thanks to the police and incredible luck, and the thieves tore 90% the interior and some exterior pieces out and we've been spending the whole week replacing most of the parts and it's a relatively time consuming and costly endeavour (relative to the car's price) and i can't imagine how exhausting it must be for you guys to not only work on a 20+ year old car's functional parts, but to do it again for the second car to make them safely drivable

Viewing from across the pond, I'm even in a state with vehicle "inspections", I'm always still surprised with the thoroughness of European vehicle inspections. It's almost like you guys don't want to be driving rattle traps or something.

Oh boy, clutch time. Looking forward to seeing you guys try to wrangle the gearbox out through the gap between the subframe and radiator/evap canister that's just slightly too small for it to fit through, I know I had a hell of a time with that.
I don't even want to remember it... When putting it back in I took the subframe out as well, to make it easier.
@@Zakis_wonderful_world For some reason getting it back in was the easy part for me. Didn't have to drop the whole subframe either, just loosened the bolts a little to lower it down for just enough clearance.
If I were to do something like it again I'd probably take the front apart and try to pull the gearbox out that way instead.
I saw the Clutch itself roll into the frame and I immediately went "Oh sh*t. Transmission problems"
6:20 Renault trucks as a brand is actually owned by AB Volvo since 2001 which also apparently marked an increase in the general quality of the brand
I thought the trucks lasted till the late 2000's under Renault.
But that they were sold of even before the tractors is a surprise to me.

If both front sway bar links wont open try to tighten it up and rip them off if you want to replace them. MUCH faster.

Sometimes those sprayers can just get clogged up a little. I used compressed air to clear mine because they were packed with pollen

change the wires to the windshield washer pump, just switch them around in the connector, it had way more pressure in my twingo

i got nuggetopolis stickers for my own twongi, is it safe to stick them to the outside of the window or do they get loose in the rain?
It should be able to handle the rain, though I recommend cleaning the surface beforehand and sticking it on a hot/warm day so the glue really sticks on. The one on the blu is still holding after many storms.
