R.U.N.D.A. : Reserved United Nations Development Area
Did some construction work there, along runda grove. The soil looks agricultural than for residential. One thing I noticed runda has bad roads despite being a host for rich UN staff.
Wow beautiful runda,it used to be coffee farms way back in the 70s and mid 90s..Runda upto gigiri was part of karura forest and massive coffee plantations. Then late 90s coffee prices plummeted and the owners decided to start selling their land in parcels yet the wealthy one's decided to venture into real estate....It still has the feeling of an upgraded & developed village..Next visit muthaiga, lavington and Karen. Go visit Westlands, brookside and kyuna...You still have loads of content around our beautiful Nairobi green city in the sun...Try visiting Tigoni too, slightly out of the city but you'll be amazed and totally fall in love with Tigoni...Enjoy your stay Harriet.....
As Kenyan I hope i get the chance to go there Day
Beautiful work as always
Thanks again!
Harriet How do compare Runda and Naguru and Kololo.
Thanks for taking me along👍
Glad you enjoyed
So beautiful.
Wow amazing great content ❤
Glad you like it
Welcome to Kenya, welcome Home🇰🇪
Good tour actually RUNDA means Reserved United Nations Development Area. New we have old runda and new Runda.
What? I had totally no idea. Thanks for the education 🙏🙏🙏
That red mercedes g wagon 🔥🔥🔥
Amazing video ❤❤❤
Thank you!!
Always love Runda with the red soil
Following 🇰🇪
Used to do mjengo work yrs ago there. Memories....
When I'm in Kenya I live in Tigoni. Its Better than Runda its a personal perspective.
Tigoni picturesque.
True it's so green and peaceful.
Waiting
Make sure you visit Eastleigh
I will
Its a wow
The neighborhood is beautiful and that dog is so cute 🥰🥰
The dog was called "Bill Burr"
Hope you enjoyed yourself
I did
RUNDA is.Reserved United Nations Development Area.
💯 a Blue diplomatic zone or suburb
Get mwakazi to guide u the young man is excited even more than the guest ,i can bet he hasn't been in Nairobi for more than six years
You right this is my 3rd year 😂.
He also said the place is guarded by kenya defence forces😅😅..and was left wondering kwani jeshi nowadays ni G4S wa kuchunga maboma za watu
Great content. Runda is not the second richest neighbourhood though. Old Muthaiga should be first as it's the old money sanctuary. Kitisuru, Nyari and Karen, Spring Valley definitely beat Runda. Nonetheless Runda was the go to estate 20 years ago
Plz visit mombasa
When someone is talking you dont have to face the camera on them the entire time, you can face the camera on the main content of the video while we hear your voices on the background,we already know your faces, focus more on the content otherwise we will lose much from the content just because you took alot of time focusing on what is less useful
It is not the houses that make the area rich, the houses look pretty basic to me,what separates rich from poor is the price of buying land thats all.
Waiting for you mang'anyu😂
The rough walls and houses is just a design we love not about money.
The electric fence is common n just people loving privacy.. nothing about having security issues before like he said. He's a good guide but I don't know where he gets his ideologies from.
A young man who is excited just like the guest seems he was born in the village
My dear it’s not easy to make money those people who make to much money ask youself how the make money
Have watched all your videos. They are great and so is the guide...but that guy says some quite outrageous things. It's beyond ignorance. Saying Runda has KDF, Saying US has 56 states, Saying that parliament will be moving to Bunge towers, yet it's only for office space, calling Tom Mboya statue at Archives sijui Omollo something...
The tour guide talk too much without information of what he is talking about dear.good video keep on going.
Hi, I would advice you not to film private house numbers and car number plates. I bet you can be sued for that!
Our tour guide saying defense forces (k.d.f) are guiding the houses its crazy...k.d.f its our military in lay mans language so that is so off of him to say that anyways the security there its private security not kdf and regular police do patrols
😂seems he knows nothing about the kenyan military...kdf nowdays to him ndio wanachunga maboma ya watu instead ya kuchunga nchi😅
Kenyan billionaires live inside the forests.
