As for training, Bo should teach them because she's been properly trained while the others probably didn't get that training. Kinda weird how the other Jedi suck at deflecting beams back at their shooters. Are the clonetroopers hit their targets more accurately compared to the regular stormtroopers?

Seeing Ahmed Best (aka Jar Jar Binks) as Jedi Master Kelleran Beq saving Grogu was awesome! And seeing Grogu doing literally ANYTHING from training to walking is so cute that my heart almost bursts. Also the whole rescue of Ragnar Visla looked and felt like it was right out of the movies. And I have a sudden urge to forge my own set of Mandalorian armor. Carl Weathers made one of the best episodes of the series with The Foundling. I just wish that this episode was longer, these episodes are becoming far to short.
I’m actually really happy for him. His first Star Wars experience would have crushed anyone but it’s nice to see them giving him a better role and allowing him to show his face at the same time.
lol, oh my God, you guys didn't even recognise him either. Definitely a COP OUT. There was so much potential they missed out on, the redemption of JarJar and some moving scenes with Grougu as he would be shepharded to safety by him. Disappointed.

What’s neat about Grogu’s flash back was that it echoes the flashback Din had in season one. Same situation, as the hammer falls he flashes back to his childhood and running for his life. They are very similar in that way.
For the shortest episode in the entire series (so far) they did a good job packing a lot of action in-between showing the Mando lifestyle as well as the super important Grogu flashback.
It was all about quality and not quantity that made this episode. Awesome for me. It was action packed and very informative from start to finish in a very short time. You don’t need a long run time to have a great episode Great job, Carl Weathers.❤❤

Directed by Carl Weathers ! BAM ! Ahmed Best ! Double Hit Combo ! Exactly like Jaby, I threw my hands in the air "Yoooo ! This is Jar Jar Binks !!!??" Way to go, Carl ! Getting one Black superstar turned super director to restore another black actor, by redeeming one of the actors who got screwed the worst by the fanbase during the prequel era (the hate was real, and, like Jake Lloyd, he went on to have some serious PTSD and depression for over a decade) to reappear in Star Wars in such grand fashion, as a badass Mace Windu-like Jedi, savior of Grogu, which instantly makes him one of the most important characters of Star Wars ! That's some insane comeback ! So happy for him !!! After these past 20 years, he can finally wash that horrible taste off of his mouth ! It's almost as great a cinematic comeback as Ke Huy Quand and Brendan Fraser !
Ahmed's Jedi charachter is one of the best duelists in the Jedi order in the lore, he's so good with lightsabers he's nicknamed "The Sabered Hand." We're talking like he's in the top 20 or so best saber fighters in the galaxy, maybe on of the top 10.
I think the fact Bo katan told the Armorer she saw a mythosaur proves a lot of things: that she trusted her that she's not really sure about what she saw and she's genuinely overwhelmed and that she's not plotting like many people tought.
Not exactly, at least for this show. Ahmed already portrayed Kelleran on a game show back in 2020. Filloni decided to use him as the key figure in grogu surviving order 66 instead of more prominent jedi in honor of Ahmed.
I like how they gave an establishing shot on Coruscant by showing the mountain from the previous episode. Not gonna lie, I thought the Jedi was Sterling K. Brown.

The FX in the series this season have been amazing. I mean they look better than the previous 2 seasons for some reason IMO. You gotta remember that Carl Weathers was an action star and former NFL player for the then Oakland Raiders. He knows action and has been doing an amazing job at directing on this series. All I know is that I'm sitting back and enjoying the ride of this season. Can't wait for the next episode.

Grogus PTSD/memory in the forge mirrors Dins PTSD/memory about his childhood and the attack that took his parents in sesaon 1, which was caused by the forge as well.
I think the vfx look so good this season, bc they actually pushed the show back, if we remember. Season 3 was once announced for end of last year. I'm so glad they moved it. loving this season
I would have missed this myself if I hadn't just seen one of the early first season episodes, but having flashbacks while the armorer works on a new piece of armor for you is a thing in this show. I'm not sure it's the only time, but at least some of the flashbacks which showed us how Din became a foundling happened while the armorer was making armor for him. Which makes me wonder why we didn't get any Bo Katan flashbacks while the armorer was making her new piece of armor. Even if they didn't have anything new to show us in her case, it seems like it would have been appropriate to have a flashback to when she saw the mythosaur.

Couple of things you guys must of missed. -Din said to Ragnar before his duel with Grogu that Grogu can't get a helmet until he can recite the creed so the Armourer was never making a helmet. - Kelleran said that the speeders engine was hit, he wasn't running out of gas. Also there was a few call backs to chapter 1 of Mando with Grogu having a flashback while the Armourer is making something for him just like Din did and the piece of armour Bo gets replaced is in the exact same place as the first piece of new armour that Mando gets.
I want to see a follow up where it is revealed that after leaving Coruscant he went to Naboo where Jar Jar hid him in the underwater Gungan city...and eventually (some character yet to be introduced) brought him to Tatooine in attempt to get him to Obi Wan...but then he left with some farmer, a scoundrel, and a wookie for some sort of passage to Alderaan so he just......chilled, until the former Empire found out he was there and commissioned a bounty hunter to retrieve him.......that was a lot of typing with lots of misspelled words.....
The laser guns do run out of “ammo/shots”. The light guns need recharging or they run dry. It happened in one of the following in Clone Wars, Rebels or Bad Batch. Don’t remember which one episode exactly, but it does happen and a point made about it.
Its amazing seeing the grogu puppet mess with me so much that i can see in his eyes he is coming to age again with this different culture to the jedi's. How does it make me feel so deep haha

It's great watching this episode seeing you guys just as hyped as I was. I was watching another reactor couple and was surprised by how much they disliked the episode. They kept harping on the episode making the children of the watch seem lame during the rescue portion etc Maybe the scene doesn't exactly make sense as I admit the kid would likely have died already but then again maybe it's the creatures way to present live food to it's young who knows (they did point out the kid was clean as a whistle with no sign he had be swallowed which okay fair point) but for me the main thing that stood out with this episode was the Grogu fashback. Remember the Armorer stated the forge shows weaknesses and spoke about growing from adversity, both Din and Grogu had flashbacks of their past when something traumatic happened to them. I don't think that's coincidence, I do think the forge shows them things that are painful that they have blocked out or repressed in order to face it and grow stronger for it. Maybe Bo didn't see anything because she is still not a full believer yet or she doesn't repress her past pain.

A much better episode better than the previous one (in my personal opinion). All due respect to Lee Issac Chung (director of Minari), but I dug Carl Weathers and his direction better. Writing is still up for debate. I'm positive that Lee directed a great episode with "The Convert". I just personally wasn't feeling it. I'm almost positive that this show will end with Grogu is going to be the title card character, and that this whole show is made to have a Mandalorian/Jedi hybrid. The stuff with Bo-Katan is still interesting. I don't know her endgame, but I also don't know her mindset at the end of an episode. The Armorer is also mysterious. What does she know really??? Now, regarding the Ahmed Best cameo: it's very poetic that he once played a character fans HATED, and has returned to Star Wars to play a character fans will love. I'm proud of him, and I hope he sees the reaction online to him. We now have 4 episodes left, and I really, really hope we get more meaty stuff as we approach the end of this season. *This is the way*

Okay, please stop saying "beskar" every time the armorer is pounding on metal. Not all Mandalorians have beskar, not since the Empire pounded them. Much of their armor is second and third rate. Remember Mando's armor at the beginning.

Looks like the showrunners decided to redeem Ahmed Best (formerly Jar Jar Binks) by having him portray the Jedi master who helped save Grogu.
And it's fit the lore, his characters did trained many Younglings in the temple.

It's great watching this episode seeing you guys just as hyped as I was. I was watching another reactor couple and was surprised by how much they disliked the episode. They kept harping on the episode making the children of the watch seem lame during the rescue portion etc Maybe the scene doesn't exactly make sense as I admit the kid would likely have died already but then again maybe it's the creatures way to present live food to it's young who knows (they did point out the kid was clean as a whistle with no sign he had be swallowed which okay fair point) but for me the main thing that stood out with this episode was the Grogu fashback. Remember the Armorer stated the forge shows weaknesses and spoke about growing from adversity, both Din and Grogu had flashbacks of their past when something traumatic happened to them. I don't think that's coincidence, I do think the forge shows them things that are painful that they have blocked out or repressed in order to face it and grow stronger for it. Maybe Bo didn't see anything because she is still not a full believer yet or she doesn't repress her past pain.
I just realized that the kid had got snatched dy the Raptor his name Ragnar. It's an Easter egg for Katie Sekov's old show, the 2009 Battlestar Galactica reboot
Really think Bo is holding back that info on the Mithosaur because she’s not completely clear on what she saw… but it appears she’s more sure this ep than she was last ep?

I am surprised so few people have been recognizing Ahmed because I lost my mind when the doors opened, lol. Maybe it just shows how badly his career was hurt from playing Jar Jar.

Exactly! they are believed to be extinct and for Bo she believed they were a made up story to tell children. So she thinks people will think she's either making it up or crazy. I think she was just trying to process what she saw and what it means.

A much better episode better than the previous one (in my personal opinion).
All due respect to Lee Issac Chung (director of Minari), but I dug Carl Weathers and his direction better. Writing is still up for debate. I'm positive that Lee directed a great episode with "The Convert". I just personally wasn't feeling it.
I'm almost positive that this show will end with Grogu is going to be the title card character, and that this whole show is made to have a Mandalorian/Jedi hybrid.
The stuff with Bo-Katan is still interesting. I don't know her endgame, but I also don't know her mindset at the end of an episode. The Armorer is also mysterious. What does she know really???
Now, regarding the Ahmed Best cameo: it's very poetic that he once played a character fans HATED, and has returned to Star Wars to play a character fans will love. I'm proud of him, and I hope he sees the reaction online to him.
We now have 4 episodes left, and I really, really hope we get more meaty stuff as we approach the end of this season.

I liked the episode, but the plot armor on the little kid really took the tension out of the episode.. that and the Grogu duel looked a little low budget.. I wanted him to do something cool. 😕

Okay, please stop saying "beskar" every time the armorer is pounding on metal. Not all Mandalorians have beskar, not since the Empire pounded them. Much of their armor is second and third rate. Remember Mando's armor at the beginning.

This show is GREAT at DESSERT but terrible at DINNER. These bright flashy battles are awesome but the STORY is whack. This is Bo Katans show now. None of this advanced Jin’s story. Glad Bess is back!!
The show is called The Mandalorian not Djin Darin. And in this show Bo is second main character
