If this phone had even a 90HZ let alone 120HZ refresh rate, it would beat a lot of flagships today. Such a phenomenal device

Nah, clear case of consumers not actually knowing what they want. After the initial feeling, high refresh rates are a battery draining gimmick. Double blind studies prove this.

I'm currently using the S22 Ultra but I still have my trusty Note 10 Plus. It's a superb device. I can transfer photos from the S22 Ultra onto the SD card of the N10 Plus, thus freeing up space and never losing a photo. The expandable memory option is valuable given that most newer flagships have ditched them as an option.

I bought my Note 10 plus new when it came out. The aurora glow. I absolutely love my Note 10 plus. Last month, my screen went green only cause I dropped it to many times the screen hitting first. Took it to many phone repair shops including a Samsung store and everyone told me the same thing that my screen or LCD got messed up. I ended up fixing it at the Samsung store which has a repair center. I choose Samsung store cause I wanted to use Samsung parts. Other shops like the kiosk at the mall and one independently own shop charged me the same price as Samsung. $300 dollars. I know it's what the Note 10 plus is worth now, but I didn't care spending the $300 and getting my phone fixed. It's a lot cheaper than spending $1,200 dollars On a S23 ultra. This phone has expandable memory meaning a slot for a micro SD card. The S23 ultra doesn't. Yes the S23 ultra is newer with some features that the Note 10 plus doesn't have, better cameras, but I'm not a professional photographer. Also i don't play games on my phone so i don't care if newer phones have a faster processor or better refresh rate. Thats why i have a gaming console at home. The Note 10 plus is still fast in 2023 and it's fast for what use it for. Social media and tons of TH-cam videos. The display on the note 10 plus is still amazing. Whenever i watch a video in 1080p, im amazed at how clear and how much detail you can see. Also the speakers on the note 10 plus are very LOUD! I rarely have the volume on max cause the speaker are just that loud. Why em I going to get in debt with phone payments when I don't need to. The Note 10 plus is still an excellent phone in 2023.

I currently own the Note 10 Plus...Have not had one issue with it. 🤗😎 I've looked at videos about the S23 Ultra, and I am not really impressed...There's nothing "game-changing" about it, it's just another new phone with a pumped-up camera and increased specs, that's it!! 🙄
My Note 10 PLUS is swift (very quick and responsive processing chip), has a LOT of ram 12gb, and PLENTY of space 256 GB. Has an exceptional camera, and takes AMAZING video... etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. It is TRULY one of the best phones Samsung has ever produced, and I can't see any reason to upgrade to any of the hype flying around. 🤪

Hi Matthew, thank you for this video, I totally agree with your findings. I've been using this Note 10+ for 2 years now and I'm still super satisfied and happy with it. The brilliant large 6.8 inch screen, 256 GB of internal memory, the speed of the phone due to the fast processor and 12 GB of RAM, the battery life, the S-Pen, basically everything about this phone is still top notch, even for 2023 I suspect. Only a pity that it can no longer be updated to Android version 13. I'm thinking of switching to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 or better to wait for the Z Fold 5.. greetings from The Netherlands, Lars

I am just switching to it from the LG G5. The courier is due to arrive on Tuesday. I paid $350 for a post-show unit with a one-year warranty. I looked at different phones up to $500 and the processor performance was very comparable, but far from the Note 10+ because of the many features. Nothing has changed in android for a long time now, so staying on the 12 for another 3/4 years won't be a problem for me. I have to admit I was interested in the Nothing Phone, but an unknown company with problematic quality control is too much of a risk for me, not to mention that it reportedly barely lasts more than a day on battery, even though the mah capacity is sizable and the processor is power efficient.

@@pt_trainer9244 I had to buy another one from other company cause the previous one was broken and didnt pass their service tests before they send it. Its very well build and feels premium. I used only for 2 days, sticked glass UV 3D panel today and waiting for backplate etui. But my whole experience is very smooth, comparing to my mothers S20FE there is no difference. Her came with snapdragon, my is exynos as so. Everything runs nice and fast, screen looks beautiful. I set background, lockscreen to black and applied that dark menu look to get more of battery and avoid any screen burning. It seems to last very long and I didnt disable adaptive battery learning. Yesterday I charged it to 85% in the evening, used for hour on screen and fall to 77%, today, after about 16 hours it was 74%. Screen is very responsive, everything is big and writing goes without any mistakes. It really feels like brand new flagship phone.

Now I know you all gonna hate on me but I traded my pixel 6 pro for my note 10 plus and recently got it and not gonna lie it truly delivers 45 watts not like the newer phones these days as I was shocked on how fast this phone can charge and hold battery. Not gonna lie I think I will be sticking with this phone for maybe 4 or 5 years. Till this day it's still smooth and fast and some glitches there and then but it holds it self together very well. I say the note 10 plus was built to be a real note phone.

I think the 120 hz refresh rate is the biggest con in cell phone history. Hardly anybody can tell the difference, and does it really matter if the app page scrolls a fraction of a second smoother for the extra money put into the phone and the extra battery drain?

    • @memesyandhorrorshorts

It’s a pro for gamers don’t buy pro models or note models to scroll the web it meant for tech enthusiasts who are power users and expect high end features yes u can barely notice 90hz or 120hz while doing normal stuff like reading it only when u scrolling or playing games that are demanding like pubg call of duty car parking multiplayer maxed out settings that when u notice the smoothness over 60hz displays 😂

It's definitely a luxury flagship experience.
One week moment is a camera. It's not so sharp as now days Samsung's flagship cameras.
I had Note 10 Plus and for it last day I always thought: Wow, what a wonderful phone.
Unfortunately or fortunately, God knows, I broke my Note's screen and had to bought S22 Ultra. Now waiting for it.

It pains me to have to replace this phone. It's perfect in so many ways: battery life, charging speed (chef's kiss), fingerprint, even its LDAC compatibility etc., but it has one *fatal* downfall: Instagram. I love posting on Instagram, but Instagram doesn't actively support Android, so every photo and video uploaded will have extremely poor quality. The default layouts for stories, colors, fonts and emojis are just grotesque compared to iPhone and I always cringe at how ugly everything looks. For this one reason alone, I'll be switching to Apple, but gah it's so disappointing.
