Yes, Reactive armour is made up of countless little squares but that is placed on top of the regular armour.
They should release a parts kit to turn this into a Stark Jagen or prototype stark jagen. Or just a new kit together. Jagens are one of my favorite grunt suits so I'd love to see more versions of em in MG
Just found this out, not sure if you know, but most of the transparent plastic used in the kits reacts to a black light and lights up like a flare. try this on the banshee and the psycho frame glows and looks amazing. Green, blue, orange, and yellow react very well to it. Red however not so much.
My only complaint was the thrusters on the back of the legs. The bells are for sure depicted a tad bigger throughout the entire movie. The clip you have of one launching from behind is the best example I have.
Came within a hair of ordering this kit today...couldn't quite bite the bullet. I quite like the color...but the lack of skirt armor just doesnt quite do it for me. It came down to this or the Jesta. I chose the latter.

It’d be cool to see them all listed out at the end of the video, and then revealing where you think it belongs, so we can get a better scale on the ranking. I have nothing to compare the rank to when I don’t know where the grading of the kit lands anymore.

Honestly increasing the range of the hips wouldnt be too hard, cut out the front and back and pin it on the outer side and make them flaps, so they can move out of the way letting the connector swivel more.

That "shining gold" is very gurren lagann. I wish there were gurren lagann kits :( there are so many big robots in that show you could make a whole line of them
my first gundam I ever tried was aHigh Grade Vidar...and holy hell the flimsyness of it put me off of model kits as a whole for a long while. did not even wanna finish putting it together. I'm hoping these Master Grade ones are of sturdier stuff...
The HG IBO line is ledgendary for how flimsy and sticker heavy it is. Yes tge MG will be much more solid. It should be said that both much older and much newer HGs than Vidar are a lot sturdier.
Its a good anime accurate kit, my only let down was a short belly, the arms kinda look like a gorrila. And as a builder i kinda extend mod my jegan to had a extra mm of belly, and it kinda works.
MECHA San i have to say thank you for the review on the jegan, however one thing you miss on it which is important, the inner frame of this so much longed for mg. i was hoping to find what sort of mechanism involving the movements of this kit ,sadly it was not made possible. anyway awsome job and keep at it.
Bandai should have provided an optional piece for the thigh armor that would allow the thigh joint the full range of motion it can achieve. That way it would keep purists and utilitarians happy.
