Yeah, I’m with you. At 65, it’s getting more difficult to focus the rangefinder in low light conditions. What really helps is the visoflex EVF, trust me.
Joe, this is a nice video man. I’d been shooting a Q2 for the last two years, amongst my Sony stuff which I use for weddings, but I sold it and got an X100Vi. (Used to shoot Fuji) but after even a few days I realised my mistake- So now I own a Q3 for me, which I think will integrate into weddings- what a camera
I heard from a Content Creator about that He never buys anything brand new because of paying the tax and other accessories is way too much. I wait and when I can afford it and get all of the benefits. I have been buying Used and trying the devices to see if they are in good condition. Half the price and usually a lens comes with a camera. Leica M8, Voigtlander Ultron 35mm f/2, Heliar Classic 75mm f/1.8 and Leica APO - Summicron 90mm f/2. Slow got the focusing down. Loving the simplicity. Better yet, buy an adapter like Techart TZM-02 that uses these M lenses with Nikon Z cameras and have autofocusing. Enjoying the process is what is important to me. Get out and start an adventure and share with other people. Cheers!
@@TheJalbertstudios I can find the SL3 but not at MSRP and overpriced. Also advertising on the Web is misleading that they are in stock when actually Preorder, Coming Soon, Backorder. Frustrating. Cheers!
@@TheJalbertstudios well the video is called " M8" but you do not really talk about it..... but talk about your M11 etc and I myself almost always grab for my M8 instead of the M9P or the M10R...it has something

That's a great suggestion for anyone using a rangefinder, especially in lower light!

It grows on you! I love using it! I’m glad you’re back!

I agree! Most of my Leica cameras except SL3 were purchased used. Great way to save money! Thank you!

Nice video, what camera/ lens did you use for the video facing you it looks amazing. Sorry for your loss
Thank you. The camera being used was my Nikon Z9 The tones look great!
Looks like an artisans case from japan. Or possibly a Luigi case?
Your M8 is very good for b&w. Its CCD sensor should be fine. The only downside is its low ISO capability so fast lenses are preferable
I get that! I’m just going to use it for a fun camera, I have an SL2 and a Q3
I am 71 yo and use Leica since I was 16 yo. I dont understand why you cant focus with an M11.
Check esty for the case.
Great video. I love hanging out here.
Thanks! I appreciate you!
ultron 35mm 1.7
