I'm a little over a year out. I still get hungry but it isn't the ravenous kind of hunger I had before. I would get SOOOO hungry before Dr. A crafted my sleeve. I would eat everything in sight. Buffets lost money on me I'm sure. Now my hunger is much more reasonable. It's isn't the uncontrollable urge to eat mass quantities that I had before. I was basically killing myself with food. I'm so thankful for Dr. A and his staff.

They probably have already but the pharmaceuticals make more money from fat people and the health issues that come along with being fat.
I feel mine has stayed fairly good for 6 years since my vsg May21.2015.. i am age 63..I am 5"2.. kept my weight all off so far.. trying hard always to maintain my 166 pound loss.Jo Ann In North Florida ), up april 4,2022. Date. ,today i am going on 7 years post op. Vsg.. i weigh 114 today. I was nearly 300 pounds in may 21,2015. ii am 5"2.. i am as of april 6,2022 turn age 64. i was in my upper 50's when i had my VSG
I'm 2 wks post op from having gastric sleeve. You guys are life savers, im so happy. X
5 days post-op, and I feel like I want to eat everything in sight, which of course I cannot do. I’m sticking to my liquid diet, and am going to increase my protein intake according to the plan my team has given me; after all I’m beginning the process of saving my own life. Your videos are a welcome encouragement to me in this hard struggle.
Congrats! I'm on week #3 I was extremely hungry after surgery as well it was intense. But it will go away very soon trust me.
@@blackbeauty5811 Thank you! I am noticing a difference now like you you said! That was rough! Now adjusting to seeing everyone around me eating all the foods I used to. It’s a battle but it’s part of the transformation and path to health, and I accept it.
@@ShannonNfromCT yes! Its definitely a process and a new way of life. I'm just happy with the sleeve that we can still have pasta and breads you just have to wait until your in that stage to have a serving. I'm on week 3 and now in at a stahl on my weight so expect that to happen too. It's normal! I'm down 18lbs

So enjoying my slow immersion into feeling better! Took my blood pressure recently and it was sexy af to see a blood pressure in the normal range!!
@@ShannonNfromCT your very welcome! Yes I put my scale in the trunk of my car so that I wont be hopping on it through out the day. And now I can focus on feeling the weight come off in inches and also like you said a healthy b/p, everything else will follow.

After my vsg I thought I would be starving, but quite the opposite. It's been a week and I have been more focused on my day to day task instead of waking going to the fridge, worrying about what's for lunch and so on
