You’re moving the scale and monitoring daily is great. I do the same. Every now & then I check my weight twice a week. Lately, I’ve went back to daily since my weight loss has slowed down.

How’s your effort to switch to Zepbound going?

@@RoundMoundofZepbound I sent a letter to my insurance company appealing the tier exception. I have to wait 30 days for the reconsideration. I have an appointment next week with my weight loss doctor. I think she’s not going to prescribe Wegovy anymore. She’s pushing me to try Saxenda in order for her to report the analysis to the insurance company for the tier exception. They require that members try Wegovy and Saxenda first before they will approve a tier exception for Zepbound. I’m on the fence. I don’t know if I’m going to do it.

Congrats 🍾🎉🎊 on your 100 pound/81 pound weight loss!!! 🤗👊🏽
I look forward to your videos to keep myself inline with my journey and my fitness routine. I’m on Ozempic (1mg) since April and I’ve lost a total of 45.5 pounds. My initial weight total was 342.2. That puts me at a loss of 53.2 all together from weighing in at 349.9. I seen your interview with Ang and that’s how I started following you, and I must say that I’m glad I did! 😊 so thank you 🙏🏽 for posting.

I'm very glad for you and glad that I found your channel. I'm one week in on Rx Mounjaro 2.5 for my recent Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis. So far I've lost 10 lbs. & have major appetite suppression which is helpful for my dietary changes and portion control.
Although there are some side effects I'm coping well. It's good to see someone who looks like me presenting their journey, THANK YOU!
    Good luck on your journey!

Thank you for the kind words and welcome to the community! Being down 10 in week 1 is incredible. I dropped just over 9. You are well on your way. 💪🏽
I was looking for someone that looked like me as well. I’m glad I can be the representation that stands in the gap and hope others join me.

Looking forward to hearing about your dexa scan & sleep study. Sure hope you can kiss that Cpap machine good bye! This Tuesday I have my first doctor's appointment after going on the med. So hoping for some good blood work results, getting a dexa scan scheduled and seeing how he wants me to continue. Thank you for sharing your journey. It sure is helpful to have such a positive community to learn from each week!

Congrats on your weight loss. You motivate me so much. By following your journey, I know there is work to put in, and I make so I do so. I'm a pamphlet carrying, website sharing apostle for GLP-1 medications. Because I'm on a compound I have a list of telehealth providers who use reputable pharmacies. I share them as well. 💊💉❤

I get that same feeling of wishing I had started sooner, but you are on week 26, I'm on week 9, so I'm jealous. To me 26 would've been sooner :)

Also curious about what scale appears closest to the professional tool.
Although, as long as any scale is consistent day to day, it’s the directional movement that is most important.

I just started taking zepbound and I am on the 2.5 dose. Was 2.5 affective for you? Do you have to force yourself to eat or do you still get cravings for food? How long did it take to increase your dose and why did you? Are you losing weight from your smaller calorie intake or is it from the way the medicine affects your metabolism? Sorry for all the questions I’m just curious on what to expect in the future.

    • @RoundMoundofZepbound
      @RoundMoundofZepbound  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Congratulations on getting started! I lost 9.3 in week 1 and 16.5 total on 2.5. I was on that dose for 4 weeks.
There have been times where I’ve needed to remind myself to eat but as my body adjusts to the new dose, that changes. No real cravings, just normal hunger when it’s meal time. Then when I eat, my portion control is well maintained. My food noise or cravings are controlled.
My weight loss is from a caloric deficit, working out 5-6 times a week, and the medication correcting my metabolic disorder so my metabolism works efficiently.
