I really hope this continues to be a series, because this is just entertaining seeing you gush and get excited over a hobby you cherished. Reminds me of my card collecting days.
Hey toonz, you were wondering about customer wallet mechanics, the dev replied to a handful of feedback and i remember reading that customers come in with 1 or 2 specific items they need, and will buy other things up to their money limit. Their money limit increases with store level, and I assume a few other factors. EG. a patch note read "fixed a bug where buying lot B doesn't increase customer wallet limits". Its safe to assume things are subject to change or already have, but generally that's the direction intended.
You can see this in action when you get higher level. It isn't uncommon to see someone buy like 5-6 of the same random item, and then throw a random single card or some other item. This is why putting out as many different items and cards as you can is worth it, cards especially if you don't have a large item variety. The more random things you have, the more likely that someone "needing" something you don't have will just buy something random at least.
You could make these videos 8 hrs long and I'd still watch the whole thing regardless of others playing the game too grinding out the money or not you're always entertaining

So I just so happened to be browsing your store when you pulled that $14,000 card Toonz and I wanted to say congratulations on pulling such a high value card. Also really love what you’ve done with the place recently. Still a 5 star rating from me.
I’d keep the ghost since what I saw in a comment there is a set amount of ghost cards so collecting all the ghost in the game and putting them in a display case would be cool specially so you can show off to Kyle and squirrel
He did that to ensure he wouldn't suddenly run out due to people buying them. It happened a few times, leaving him with stinky customers in store he couldn't do anything with until buying more sprays. So he wanted backups in the personal just in case.
I doubt Toonz will see this comment, because of the sheer VOLUME of comments, but putting all your product in the small area to make room for tables would cause a HUGE traffic issue. People would have to cross Store B AND Store A to get to the register, and there wouldn't be enough room in Store B to put your register. It would be too crowded. Better off adding a couple tables to fill in the middle space, or use that space for double-shelves and bite the bullet.
The best use I've found for Store B is to just use it for play tables. Put a pair of auto-cleaners to deal with potential stench at the door and fill the space with play tables, and you never have to think about that area while it makes you money.
it's a ghost card. you can pull them out of any pack but they're extremely rare like a 3% chance. there are also only 76 of them in total. also you're going to have a lot of products eventually so i would keep it the same.
With that second shop area, you could have a setup similar to the LGS I used to hang out at in high school. The owner had two stores' worth of space in the building he had his store in, and half was filled with TCGs and accessories for them as well as used video games and accessories for gaming. The second half was all open tables and tables lining two walls with TV's on them with consoles connected to them.
Toonz, don't sell the card. Trust me you're getting to the point where you will start making several grand a day. It isn't worth selling for the short term profit. I'm at store lvl 25 and avg 4 to 6 grand each day. KEEP IT.
I get like 12.5k average on shop level 20 if you put your shop to have only the most expensive items, which for me right now is just collector binders and epic boxes but if you had legendary and/or destiny boxes you’d make around 25-50k a day. Insane money farm tactic that can get you really far into the game.

Answers to question: Store location: I think moving the shop into the smaller building could be done, but there is a possibility that the storage and products wont all fit and it would be an absolute PAIN to move it all back. The ass sprayer being a nuisance: With the smaller ass spraying machine at the original building, maybe try putting the four of the wired shelving on each of the sides with different (or the same) plushes on each shelf and see if the spray will still go through them so the machine wont be an eyesore. Play tables location: I think the play tables being in the smaller room is good, but doesn't hurt to have one or two in the shop. The ass sprayers positions are all good so no need to do anything with those. The useless ass sleeves: If you don't like selling the sleeves because they are cheap, then maybe you can box them up and sell them (if that is an option) so you'll have more room for things that make you money (or play tables). Broke ass bitches: I don't know whether or not they have a limit that they can spend, but it wouldn't hurt to keep it out. Don't be too focused on out, but check on it regularly. The pain in the ass animation of shitty cards: Opening card packs is a good way to make extra money because 1. Be honest. We all love opening card packs. 2. Selling the cards that are actually worth a shit (6 and up) couldn't hurt 3. Who knows when you'll pull a banger. Hope this helps you out! Damn, that ghost rare is almost as good as mine. Pulled a Hydroid Legendary Foil ghost rare worth $16973. It sits in my display case alone for now, but in my mind the cabinet reads "Break glass in case of bankruptcy."
I don’t know what’s weird, your case that says in case of bankruptcy break glass, or the fact there was a case that said “in case of movie break glass”
I've pulled a couple full art foils that I've set aside, but I don't think I'm going to sell any of my ghost cards unless I happen to get duplicates. The ghost cards look like straight fire.
NGL I'd at least try to sell it cause that's like 3-4 levels gained from pack openings if you sell it and buy packs and gain exp and you'll 100% gain more money from pulls than that card is worth.
Be carefull when setting out multiple singles like that...yea its quicker but someone can come and pick it up before you get around to setting all the prices. If that happens it'll only sell for the market value. Also yea the sleeves suck but need variety to keep customers happy (also they are triple profit per unit sold) and as for 20% yea it still sells but you sell more volume at the 10% and ultimately more overall profit at end of day report. Thats why your revenue dropped. I color coded my shelves blue packs, etbs, deckbox, battlebox, then the blue sleeves all on one shelf. Then go across with the different colors. To help sell the card you can run an event for whatever color that creature is. But most likely just going to have to wait till store level is high enough to attract deeper wallets And employees aren't worth it...play with it prior to recording to see for yourself! Hi toons don’t forget you can do events days for the card players and can chose a element to boost the card decks you sale like fire, earth and water etc
In practice, it is almost always better to just maximize your profit via highest league you have unlocked. All of the different league types include boosting the chance of one type of card increasing, but it can also randomly decrease other card types. You get most of your pure profit from opening packs and selling high value cards, which means that such meta gaming only works if you also consciously make a point to only sell the singles of cards that are of the boosted type at any given time. Frankly, that's too much effort to think about when the ultimate answer for money and experience is to just buy 5 more store orders of card packs and opening them like a goblin.

There is, the amount of customers you get is based on your store level, and the amount of money customers have is based on how much expansion you have purchased. So the more store expansions for shop A or B, the more money each customer could have.

According to KBB, a 2008 Toyota Camry with 17k miles in the zip for Greensboro, NC is worth around $9k, which means I could trade a 2008 Toyota Camry for that card and still owe the shop $5k.
I think it’s absolutely a great idea. If you flip it around the bigger space you should use as the storefront so you can have every item and have enough space to play around with it making your store look like however you want it to look like and use the smaller space which you can also keep expanding on as well for the tables

Yah i dont know why the snap feature for the building placements is not a toggleable option. Also for the sprayers(not fully done the video yet) wouldn't it just be better to have 2 of the big ones on the back wall? it would only be 500 more since you have 2 small ones, be pretty much the same amount of space and will last longer before you need to refill.
you pick up already stocked shelf and click R on it. It puts the whole thing in a box and u can open that box in ur storage area to place the shelf again already stocked
I don't know if you know yet but if you go to SETTINGS, you can make it so cards will automatically flip without you having to hold click on it. If anyone is starting to play this game and didn't know this, your welcome~
Honestly just make aisles with the one sided shelves until you get the two sided. Also orient your tables chair to chair. The tables can be set flat against the wall creating more floor space

It's percentage over. People stop buying at 22%. Less people buy at 20 but will still buy. You just have to be patient and hold out.

I think it’s absolutely a great idea. If you flip it around the bigger space you should use as the storefront so you can have every item and have enough space to play around with it making your store look like however you want it to look like and use the smaller space which you can also keep expanding on as well for the tables

Put a big spray on either side of the dividing wall to double spray from both sides covering both entrances through the walls.

Yah i dont know why the snap feature for the building placements is not a toggleable option. Also for the sprayers(not fully done the video yet) wouldn't it just be better to have 2 of the big ones on the back wall? it would only be 500 more since you have 2 small ones, be pretty much the same amount of space and will last longer before you need to refill.
They will likely fix the snap feature in the full release. Right now it's still in early access

you pick up already stocked shelf and click R on it. It puts the whole thing in a box and u can open that box in ur storage area to place the shelf again already stocked
I don't know if you know yet but if you go to SETTINGS, you can make it so cards will automatically flip without you having to hold click on it.
If anyone is starting to play this game and didn't know this, your welcome~
Honestly just make aisles with the one sided shelves until you get the two sided. Also orient your tables chair to chair. The tables can be set flat against the wall creating more floor space
Toonz is exactly how I imagine shop owners think of me when I go in a store and leave without buying something, never understood how people enjoyed window shopping
