Just thought about this but it’d be a cool idea for the developer to introduce a rush hour for after school, a card shop is kinda empty without kids going there once school ends to buy some packs or play with friends , I think that’d be a cool idea
Yeah and it’s a bit weird that in early game you might get rushes as soon as you open. I think the rush timing should be more predictable and realistic

That store layout is actually effective in real life, having items where people wait in line is a very common tactic for impulse purchase pushing.

Love toons vids and I also bought the game to try myself
Me with all the employees hired, and the b-side shop, full of nothing but inventory and I have 50k and hardly open packs... most of my time is spent ordering more inventory and self-stocking the shelves that my employees aren't getting to.
You do you but openning packs gives you exp. Tonnz was on day 55 and shop lvl 24. I was on day 45 and was at lvl 24

Yeah I know that's something I'm not liking about him anymore I was an OG subscriber and then I stopped watching and unsubscribed after he stopped playing with homewrecker and gorilla and then a few years later when he started playing Minecraft again I picked back up and subscribed to him again and I'm still subscribed but I'm thinking of unsubscribing because of that same thought you have.
Except that if you read comments in his last couple of videos, there are people telling him how he should run his store, which is the nature of streaming, especially this day and age of gaming, but his point stands, which is why he made it...

Second, while those kinds of comments may exist on other videos, that does not mean they were happening here, so his 'argument' was with the people he imagined to be currently watching this one and thus not actually real.

Toonz is 100% right about the card selling. I stopped selling individual cards and immediately started making $2000 more each day. Only way selling cards makes sense is if they’re A LOT of money but even then I just like putting them in a display case to flex on my stank customers

just a suggestion based on how the card shops I went to before I stopped being able to afford it; if you expand the second room, you could put all your tables back there and have more space in the main store for walk space (and to make it easier to re-arrange if needed)

Same here I'm not a big TCG card player when I was young or now as an adult and I want to play the shit out of this game I just have to wait until it comes out to console because I am not a big PC player.
I only use my PC for editing large videos or for mods that are only exclusive to PC for farm Sim or for making mods on blender.

It'd be such a flex to have all these expensive cards in display cases to A: show off that you have them and B: that your store is so successful on its own that you don't need to spend 3 hours doing nothing but opening cards to survive 🤣
I honestly think it would be a cool idea if the developers of the game made it to where there was another card shop across the street from the players.
That way the player would actually have to compete against the opposing card shops prices and items.

ok looking for 4 types of cards of each one. full art, full art foil, then full shadow art, the full foil art shadow cards are the best 3 types of cards in the game. the table is to just get rid of the massive large amount of cheap cards people build up. in other words a dump box.

You're right about the card table, if its active the AI are more programmed to target it, if there's nothing there they're more likely to leave.

Is there a bonus chance opening from the box packs vs. just pulling individual packs from the shelf? It feels like the boxes are just more expensive
You could expand the second side, move your store to that side and fill the main area with tables for playing.
Also, as for the BO spray machines, could swap the big one and the little one for a minute, switch sides to see if the little one sprays through the wall. If it does, could sell that big spray machine and buy a small one to replace it.
Just a couple ideas, otherwise, you do you boo, the store be looking good, that money even more so... 😂

I agree with you on the employees and just making a video full of opening packs. Watching you open packs every once in awhile is thrilling but not the whole time. Plus the only employees worth a damn stat wise arent worth the money a day it takes to pay them. The bills and employee pay in this game need some major balance in my opinion.
I also find it hilarious that the people who just want to open packs in this game, can't be bothered to open the packs in this game lol. They need a mod to cut the entire process to just get the cards.😂
The real reason Toonz doesn't hire any employees is so they can't see what he does after 9pm to the last dude in the store. 😂

I wanted to warn you about a bad bug I encountered today:
At the end of a day I was unable to end the day. I had to go back to a previous save to progress.
So as a suggestion save here and there in a different slot just in case something goes wrong.
Edit: I don't know what caused the bug. Only things I can think of is: I hired someone about 2 days before it happened and a couple people was stuck in an endless game. I couldn't even pick up their table to end it.

I am so happy about the way you play this game. I’m heat for all the fun commentary and you actually running the shop. I could never watch one of those multiple hour long pack openings. I mean no offense to the people who do those, there is an audience for that. Im just not personally one of them. So keep being you Toonz! Also your shop layout is solid. The only thing that triggers my ocd is the location of the two cube ones on the far wall. Haha
