Hi. Worderfull video. Do you know how much psi this compressor can reach in a close system? I want to make a DIY compressor with an air tank for painting. Thank you.
That’s a good question I don’t have an answer for you. These pumps are often used in big aquariums and they don’t drive a lot of air or pressure. There’s no pressure in my laser cutter it’s a totally open system. Best of luck.
Hi, I have one of the same pumps on my home made laser cutter and now I know how to fix it.Thanks. They are very noisy so i fitted it in a box with sound foam and now its at the same level as the extraction fan. Have been working my way through your videos and are finding them very interesting. How is the new workshop going. Cheers Dave.
Thanks Dave, I put my pumps in the bottom of the cutter on foam pads which helped with the noise however it all got drowned out with the exhaust fans. New workshop is on the way I am stuck in building regs (codes I think in US). I hope to get started with the footings in the new year. Cheers
I've been always wondering what inside one of those pumps and how it works. Thanks for the video
No problem 👍
Thank you so much, now I know how to fix the diaphram air pump in my rework station, which I am having trouble to find a replacement.
