my hair literally gets really tangled from like anything so this hairstyle is not possible for me **sad noises**
quick tips:
- dont let your braid sag down the middle grab your hair early on
- use your middle parting as a guide
- dont take too little strands
- use your fingers wisely
- hold onto your hair
- practice once a day even if it doesnt look good you'll get used to it and eventually get better

I truly believe that people who can dunch braid their own hair are superior than the rest of the human race. I've been yeeeears tryna fricking crack the code to duch braid my hair and I have never been able to leeearn the secrets, but you make it looks so easy! and have given this poor noble hope, hope that she can finally fulfill her long long dream to braid her hair. The key is to find the right technique that works for you.I watched this video and tried it but it was to hard for me and I kept getting tangled(my hair and my fingers😅).Im not saying this video is bad,on the other hand its great but for me it didn't work.What worked for me was using my hand placement and technique that I use for French braiding but instead of putting my strand/piece of hair over the other,I placed it under the strand. Obviously this is just me but everyone has their own technique that makes it easier and more comfortable for them!Hopefully this helped a little by sharing my technique but,good luck😉!

It’s the technique she is using u can place your fingers elsewhere meaning the same way u do regular corn braids u can do these braids with it it’s the same thing just different technique

I actually did it. I actually Dutch braided my hair :’) shook rn and my arms hurt but my hair looks cute. It took me four tries to get it on both sides

I am part of a mixed family (black and white) so braids have also had a large place in my life. my sister and mother are very good at it and have been braiding my hair for years and have always been pushing me to learn. my mom and sister both consider being good at braiding a huge part of our cultural identity. unfortunately, despite my trying, I had never learned how, until this video. the way you explained what you did with your fingers is really what made it click. you helped me so much and I am incredibly happy that I have finally learned. thank you so much for helping me connect with my family.

I actually watched 1 video before yours and it came out a total mess. I started to watch your video and it was like a light switch went on. I was able to FINALLY do it for myself. I did this after taking a shower where my hair is a little bit damp, its easy to get hair braided together. I got long straight hair like her so it really works for me!!

Sometimes thick hair makes it easier I have really thin hair but my friend had thick hair and I find it alot easier to braid thick hair

Hey at the start your braid was quite loose try to hold it as close to the scalp to help it stay in longer and neater! Great tutorial for beginners well done!
