If you bought an Anthony Edwards base rookie for $378 you already lost a ton of money. His prizm base rookie in PSA 10 just sold today for $168 on eBay.
I warned everyone here to sell Edwards before they play my MAVS or you will have to hold for a long time to see any returns 🤣
its not that bad, he's already a very popular player and he def has the mindset to win a chip at the very least if not more. very good long term hold, you really shouldn't be trying to flip instantly unless you have a platform to sell quickly like these guys, a large ebay store with lots of sells etc. i wouldnt follow anything these guys say in the short term because they put 100x the effort into reselling than your average person does. always go for long term.

If your business is flipping cards, then you probably locked up a lot of money buying into Edwards playoff run, but for a long-term investment, Edwards is probably as good as it gets for current players. Maybe he needs to take over the Lakers when LeBron retires and try and restore some Kobe level greatness back into the franchise 😁

I love the Lou Gehrig set concept! I lost my mom to ALS about 5 years ago. It’s a terrible disease and I hope researchers can someday find a cure. In the meantime, I certainly appreciate efforts to raise funds for research and those who promote those efforts! Thanks, SCI!

So many of the top rookie cards in 2017 sealed cases of National Treasures & Immaculate Basketball are redemptions that are long expired. Panini will not honor them, but will instead give you points worth very little.

Honestly, I feel like the hotter products are mostly just high demand. The flippers that have pallets are not getting them from the stores. They are getting them backdoor. I caught walmart during restock and they had one sleeve of the select hangers. I dont flip anything, but I took the whole sleeve. The problem is distibutors.

Geoff, would you ever be open to being transparent about the cards you buy\sell? I believe that most the community views you as a pump and dumper and having some type of tool that does that could increase trust. I think it would be interesting to see with your voice in the community moving cards. (I always find this more as entertainment, but some take this more advice-like)

Fact is every good story needs a heel and the Celtics are the heel. People won’t be tired of the Celtics when this series turns out to be an all time classic. Luka f**n Doncic and Kyrie at the Garden?! It’s going to be one of the most entertaining basketball series in recent memory. Ppl aren’t tired of the Celtics. They’re tired of a ton of Celtics fans acting like they’ve won more than 1 title in their entire lifetime. The style of basketball they play + the talent of the roster this year has been incredible and so fun to watch. This Mavs series will prove this regardless of who wins
MAVS need to win this for themselves, just as much as the NBA needs them to win as It's a fairytale run for Dallas and a story that will echo for years to come. Luka playing injured almost all year, hoping to at least make the play in tournament, February trade getting Gafford and PJ, turning a hopeful play in spot into a 5th seed with a long run of wins, Luka and Gafford breaking records, Lively unleashing his potential and Kyrie bringing the team together, winning the west coast conference when so many doubted and now here we are at the top of the mountain with a shot at a championship. What a crazy ride it been and "IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE!" 🏆🐎🏆

Giannis is still a great buy also and 2013 Prizm pops are much lower then 2018-current. Prices have come way down and he just had his best season statistically. How quickly everybody forgets.
I feel the same way. Buy safe stuff like Luka, Aaron Judge, Connor McDavid, etc. Lebron and Kobe rookie cards are always great investments as long as you don't overpay.

I want to know how Target is going to be able to differentiate a collector to a reseller? It’s not like they go in there and announce themselves. They need to start putting a limit on how many item each person can buy. These damn TH-camrs go into their local stores and clear them out.

My Walmart and Target get mobbed on restock day. If you're not there waiting in line, you'll be beat. Target randomly restocks if at all weekly so good luck there. Secondly, hobby prices are gross as far as Panini. With licensing ending for them in two years they're milking us for as much as they can. Yet we buyers control the prices and should boycott this insanity.

I would guess that hanger type packs, boxes are there for the "impulse" buyer - perhaps for something to give their kid? Or may have "hanger exclusive chromes" e.g. So, as long as they're selling? They're not going away any time soon I would guess? I appreciate the information on this channel. I don't get involved in this kind of collecting/investing/speculating/flipping since it's exhausting just to watch let alone participate. I do appreciate those that are flipping and making extra dough. 👍
I wish retailers like Walmart and Target policed their product around here in the central US. I got a couple Bowman 24’s when they first came out and a couple days later, completely wiped out at the same Walmart. Same with basketball Prizm 24 and Upper Deck Series 2 for Hockey. I absolutely refuse to buy from those hobby shops this year. I get they’re small businesses but there’s a such thing as ethics also.
With every jump in prices comes an inevitable decline. You are either well ahead of the market, or you aren't and are just along for the ride. I'd guess that pretty much every player involved in the finals will see their cards decline from their current value within the next 3 months regardless of who wins. Any meaningful increase has already occurred.
Those 23-24 Recon Contours SSP inserts are so gorgeous fyi just got a Trae n they look amazing fyi but I also bought a bunch of PJs n he's been doing pretty well just needs to be consistent n Porzingis had 20 pts PJ had 14 pts uggh!

This video is total BS. Why talk about a topic like reselling/resellers now? You have been one of the main leaders in the charge of this money-driven card insanity for the last four years. SCI has always been and is still all about the mighty dollar. It is somewhat hyper critical to suddenly, the last six months’ worth of videos, to finally care about the average collector. The problem is how do we get this type of money driven people out of the hobby? The answer is you can’t. They are like leaches. The HOBBY needs these people out. I wasn't able during the pandemic to ever have a problem finding product (Hockey) until now. But suddenly, during the last year these so-called influencers (SCI, CC2, Mojo, Roth, etc.) jumped on the bandwagon hyping up Bedard, and not caring about the sport at all. They could have been hyping up hockey during the pandemic which didn’t stop playing but chose to hype up sports that are less collectible in America, like Soccer, and Racing (F1). Then they all put out videos of themselves at the Toronto Expo patting each other’s backs, and suddenly they are hockey experts. What a joke. That’s my two cents.
That's quite a rant......I 100% agree. Theyll leave eventually when the money dries up. The same thing happened when the 90s boom went tits up, all the snake oil salesman left the hobby to find a new grift. This fall will be interesting though with the amount of money some of these morons have tied up in cardboard.

tatum’s cards will not go up in value because he isnt the reason why the celtics are winning. people are bored with tatum. jaylen brown isnt exciting and isnt even cosidered the leader of the celtics. but if the celts go all the way, brown’s cards will go up a bit. for the celtics, you should be on the radar for porzingis, white and horford.
