- The modern reissue... Hosoi Hammerhead with double kick and modern concave is the best of everything. One of the most iconic decks of the 80's with a modern edge - simply rad. I set it up with Indy 169's, Alva Conicals 59mm 101a and .5" risers. Now if I can just get my hands on a longboard version. Skateparks: Toms River, Brick.
Rip and Grip man. Nice to see the old school return for us old guys.
Wow love the layback
Nice, dude!
ma quanto è bella😍
Cool vid
Nips,I had the Hosoi street model back in"88".
such a great deck
I had that deck as well. Santa Cruz, right? Sorry my memory is fading and Hosoi moved around a lot. My first hammerhead was made by Skull Skates. Huge board with very little concave.
@@angrytater2456I had the Skull Skates one in ‘86.
@@robfromvan Was it flat as hell like mine?
@@angrytater2456no it had some concave
Rrraaaaaagghh!!
Far out on the hammerhead 9.5
with modern concave and double kick - it's a really great deck
Is it common or normal for decks this size and shape to see a little big of the wheels sticking out when you ride it? I've got an Vison deck, and my 60mm Slimballs are visible when you ride it.
yes... they'll stick out a little - some like to see their wheels, others like 'em tucked in - I don't mind them being visible, as long as it's not more than half way
Nice ride!! So this re-issue with the double kick and concave has a 15.5" wheelbase?
yes, 15.5 - the double kick and concave work really well, it's a great deck
Where was this shot?
Toms River and Brick NJ
What kind of size trucks, wheels, risers?
