They are going to do seasonal characters like Diablo, which most of the player base really aren't happy about.
So if you have a character you have spent hundreds or for some thousands of hours perfecting their builds then you won't be able to use them for seasonal content,
You will need to start a new character from scratch making all your previous time in the game obsolete.
The First Descendent that comes on on the 2nd July will take alot of the Division player base, especially with it being a 3rd person looter shooter with a great endgame.

Oh wow, I missed that part. I thought the game could take whatever build to lvl 40 with the update, even the seasonal characters.

@@IronAngel It can take you to level 40 with whatever builds you like, so that's the update that's live now.
But the future seasons will work more like diablo & when the seasonal stuff is over it will transfer over to your normal character.
It's basically something the community doesn't want (in general).
