    The warriors handle victories and losses very well. They have seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows . They conduct themselves in a very honorable and classy way. Bob Meyers represents this team the best way possible. He Lets people talk , he’s a good listener, professional and honest. Regardless of what happens this season , its a blessing that the organization has humility.

    Steve Kerr likes players like Bogut, Looney and Bjelica. That clashes with Wiseman's skillset. Wiseman's one of those athletic offensive bigs that prefer mid range/3 who lack defense.
    Looking over that draft class not sure who else they could draft though. Haliburton would suffer getting low/no play time, same with LaMelo. Ant got drafted by the wolves so that option gone too.

      The amount of inconsistencies of the reporting from the athletic and the media made it awkward. I don't think anyone punked anyone. The blazers literally let him rest for months after the doctors cleared him and played him sparingly once he did come back. The GSW felt backstabbed by the blazers because of the bad reporting. I don't blame GSW for how they feel.. but as a blazer fan I can assure you the blazers are a player first organization and forcing a player to play is not in their dna.

    • @jkingvevo2472
      @jkingvevo2472 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Nah at the time more size was needed that’s why they got Wise. You couldn’t say at the time draftin’ Wise was a mistake ‘cause he was a rookie and all rookies make mistakes. Especially knowin’ what Wise had to go through to start the kickoff to his career with no college experience, COVID, and no training camp. Think about that. That’s already a red flag for a player who wanna be great. Warriors wasn’t gon’ give up on Wise at the time that soon and plus, Lamelo and Steph would’ve been somewhat a awkward fit if we being honest. Same with Steph and Oubre 🤷🏾‍♂️

    • @fobinc
      @fobinc ปีที่แล้ว

      They wouldn't on the Warriors. They got playing time on their teams but on Warriors they have to compete with Steph, Thompson, Poole, GP2 and now Divincenzo.
      I'm more interested in Haliburton between the 2 but neither are spectacular defenders. Warriors system thrive on defense generating offense that a lot of people seem to miss.
      Look at all the championship lineups and look at all the defensive stats. The reason Warriors were so scary was because they generate a very chaotic offense through defense and that makes it difficult on opponents to game plan for.

      You don’t get it smh. Wiseman is a good player with a lot of potential, but with a longer timeline, and on top of that, not that good of a fit regardless of whether Kerr was gon’ play him or not. Wise was too slow to understand the Warriors style of play and the speed they play it in. He would either set awkward screens ‘cause of fear of bodily contact, (he tried to set good ones too 🤷🏾‍♂️), get dominated and/or outrebounded. He can score, but not that good on defense. It’s gon’ take longer for Wise to be able to develop into the player he can become, and that’s what Detroit is for now. Plus, Warriors luxury wise is savin’ a lot of money by tradin’ him and keepin’ GP2. GP2 already know the system very well, and was a big part of why Warriors even made it to where they were last season without Wise. By keepin’ Wise knowin’ his timeline would be a struggle luxury wise so it was tough but right at the same time. Plus GP2 gon’ be here now for 3 years so it’s partially a win-win for Dub Nation fans too 🤷🏾‍♂️💯

      @@maxsteel32 yeah but it was already bad enough that Wise’s start to his career with COVID, no training camp, and on top of that no college experience, was already a bad sign that he would end up developin’ a bit longer, which wasn’t a problem at the time. But the fact that he had 2 setbacks too all in his rookie year too, and not participate in the championship comeback run ‘cause of ANOTHER setback in his rehab. It was already a red flag that his development was gon’ be a challenge. Even when he was healthy and was playin’ you could see he was still struggling with defense, settin’ screens and gettin’ rebounds, and was often clumsy as well. It was obvious his timeline was gon’ end up longer for him to improve. That’s what Detroit is for now. 👌💪🏾
