No joke been drawing for years, and avoided perspective like a disease, Yes my works had suffered as a result, sure..but just never understood it and was frankly intimidating to try to learn. Felt like I was trying to teach myself Trigonometry at times. This was so simple, easy to follow and made sense! THANK YOU!
Yes because you learn something you are interested in+ is less material per day so easier to learn, teachers be giving many lectures so we only focus on grades not on the actual material, and trying to study only to pass exams like-
I learned this in art class years ago in high school and I still do this on my sketch book. One of my favorite drawing exercises to do 🤗. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks! Very good explanation. You propably know this allready but here is a bit of extra knowledge for drawing cubes. The one point perspective cube is actually not a cube at all. It is impossible to see three different sides (top/bottom, front and side) of a cube at the same time while the front is a perfect square. When you rotate a cube to reveal a second and especially the third side, the front square must twist from "the perfect square perspective". Otherways it is not an actual cube with all corners alike. You can test this if you have a physical cube that you can turn with your hands. Put the front side of the cube on a line that will stay horizontal with you, in a way so you can see the front and top of the cube. And your horizontal line with the cubes front parallel with the line. Then turn the cube to reveal another side from left or right. And you see that you have to turn the cube away from the line. The line is horizontal to you but the cube is not and the perspective can not show a perfect square to you anymore. The two point perspective fixes this problem when drawing a cube that is supposed to stay as a cube when turned to different position.
OH MAH GOSH. Like I've had trouble sketching perspective and it'd always end up look like straight up blobs, I swear I watched over 100000000 videos on perspective but this was literally the most helpful- THANK YOU SAM
Hey man, thanks for starting a youtube channel. Your videos and works inspired me. I don't even know you in Instagram until I just saw one of your videos here in youtube. Your ways of approaching art fascinated me and it was just amazing. I'm really glad I stumbled upon you, keep on creating and inspiring! Love from Philippines! :)
I bought procreate last year, did a lot of trace drawings (felt like a fraud when people complimented me on them despite me telling them they were traces of photos), and now i’m trying to learn how to draw from imagination so i’m not limited by pictures. Thanks so much for this tutorial
This was a great watch! First video I've ever watched on perspective because I was so intimidated by it, and I think this was a great place to start! Thank you!
This actually helped me because the perspective with 2 points, i did it last year in art class and i forgot almost everything so thank you for refreshing my memory (we had to creat a house with the 2 points)

Wow thank you for this awesome explanation! For the first time perspective actually makes sense to me.
