I had my brake booster rebuilt and check for vacuum leaks. Everything is working as it should, however the brake pedal is still hard and even if I brake as hard as I can the front wheels never locks up (no abs). Any help will be appreciated.
My cars petal is soft when driving normally HOWEVER when doing an emergency stop it gets really hard and barley brakes. Is this still the brake booster?
What if it’s an electronic booster? My brake pedal is hard on my 06 Tacoma and I can hear the electric motor working but it seems like I have no boost? I can still lock the wheels up though.
i have a 2005 honda accord and this hard peddle is only on freezing cold mornings, and i do not hear any Booster leaking sounds, it only lasts for a few seconds, then it goes to normal ?

The pedal doesn't seem to move at all after starting the vehicle.. is this a sure indicator of the brake booster being bad?

Probably your external vacuum pump if you have a turbo car.

Brake pedal is rock solid after replacing master cylinder. I didn't bleed out the master cylinder before installing, could this be the issue?

This happens to me as well. Never happens before until i loved to Minnesota. Have you noticed any difference?
