I’m 31 years old. I haven’t skated in over 15 years. Watching y’all makes me remember how’ me and my buddies would go skate every day. And even sneak out for night skates. Makes me wanna get back into it. Just to remember what it feels like. 👍 love all the videos.
I'm 36 and started again when the first COVID 19 lockdown began (~April 2020) after a break of 16 years. At the beginning it was crazy and I couldn't do the easiest tricks but after a couple of month I really improved and even learned a few new tricks. It IS possible!
I am 33 and I found out a new and first skateshop was open during the covid. So I walk into the shop and pick up a set of skateboard after 15 years off it. Feel so right to come back to the community.
I'm 44 years old..born in 76. I skated from the ages of 13 to 15 almost everyday. My Dad even built me a half pipe. Being from Manchester England in 1992 roller skating with wide Axel's became much more popular and skateboarding took a nose dive. I switched to roller skating until I was about 16. The roller rink in Wigan then got closed down. I then bought a mini and completely stopped all skating. College, uni, years go by. Now due to Covid, lockdown, boredom and your videos my daughter 11 son 13, son 18 and myself have all bought new boards and areskateboarding and I cannot believe 30 years later I can still Ollie. My daughter who is a fantastic gymnast learned how to Ollie in about 5 mins, it took me 5 weeks. We are having so much fun. A few things have changed, noone seems to use rails on their boards, dropping in seems way scarier and the trousers are skinny! Bring back the baggies I say!

just graduated university finally getting back into skating after a 5 year hiatus. you guys came so far since i first started its given me the motivation to finally learn some actual tricks. almost landed my first heelflip today but had to come and watch this because im just not getting enough air time.
Thank you Braille Skateboard Company for teaching everyone like me. I can finally recall how I used to ollie bigger and better. Your tutorials are insanely awesome.
I am so glad I watched your video today. I’ve been trying to get higher olies for years now but just thought I was a bad skater and about to give up on tricks. Your one piece of advice that no one mentions is to move your front foot back closer to the middle of the board. Every video or guide I’ve ever seen always said to keep your foot close to the bolts. Thank you so much man.
Aaron's wholesomeness is just on a whole other level in this video, I love it! "If you're a beginner, you're not a poser. We will cover that in another video.", "You gotta be able to tell yourself, "I can do this, I will, I got this"". So nice
People are so lucky these days they have resources like this. I skated in the 80s and 90s in the UK, we had hardly any support to learn from just magazines from usa. This helps so much, thanks for the vids

And everyone I skate with says that they can tell a major difference each time I go Is skate With them. And I swear it's because I practice your steps. From your videos.
I got my skateboard 3 days ago. I learned how to do the beginner Ollie where it’s just a little hop. I watched this video and it was a game changer by day 3 i was able to do a full Ollie. The biggest point of advice is 0:30 . This helped a lot thank you🙏

Im on some turf practicing ollies, after literally the first two tips i immediately noticed it was easier to control and saw more consistent results. This is crazy thanks a lot
What has helped me a lot was learning the correct motions while grabbing onto a fence then getting comfortable enough that when I stopped using the fence I couldn't feel a difference and then from there gotta progress onto moving!

My biggest mistake 5 months ago was ignoring the basics & jumping straight into a kickflip, everytime I wanted to learn something new I always hit a plateau. So I’m coming back to learn my foundation, thankful for this 🙏

(For instance, I am more comfortable riding goofy, but I am better at shove-its riding fakey--I tried to learn regular and switch, but it has been hard to keep that up as I learn more--what's your advice in determining how I should ride/practice more?)
i heard it said best by a person who can ollie quite high. he said, "think of yourself as a spring board". that little saying opened my eyes to ollie higher.

My ollies are improving slowly, I can get it in the air but even after sliding my foot, I can't get it leveled in the air My main problem is that, I can't focus on both feet at the same time When my back foot does it properly, my front foot doesn't And when my front foot does it properly, my back foot doesn't

4 months ago I couldn't even jump over a stick, now I can ollie up the curb. I think that you can't make your ollie so high in one day, it might take years. Now my ollie enough for kickflip, that's what I'm learning rn. So practice, practice and practice, this is the best way to get better at tricks
i can olliesix stair and board slide kickflip but this helped me alot because i need to get higher ollies for leges so thank u brallie u have been my insparation for my whole skateboarding career aka 6 years thank you all for what u do

Just a little tip for a, Ollie when you’re popping the tail there’s a little bit of space between the tail end your foot
