I'd assume the Alcremie line's main defense against predators is that it is very high in sugars and low in other nutritional components. Making for a very unhealthy prey item to rely upon. Same goes for other desert-based mons. It would really only be... humans that would eat them a lot.
The Vanilluxe line are actually just icicles powered by sunlight. So basically pure water. They are also surprisingly strong, so chances are any predator attacking them would realize it's a mistake very soon.
The Fidough line are often seen hanging out next to villages and towns, and are very important in human agriculture. You mess with them, and you mess with the strange bipedal primates that either command a crew of monsters to pounce you or trap you in a ball and keep you in a box for the rest of your life.

@SpinyBlue Puffball So I know this, but to clarify further, it is more terrifying in this instance because 1 barraskuda has the ability swift swim, which increases speed in the rain. And wingull has the ability drizzle, an ability that makes it rain. Now, in my mind, I see that thing flying through the rainy sky as a javelin missle at an airborne wingull

I wanna see a list of the Pokémon food chain, like we have an animal kingdom food chain. It’ll be so awesome to see that. Can we get one of the professors to do some research upon such, even if it’ll be a death sentence. The world must know what a normal diet of a Rayquaza is, or a Palkia, or maybe just a Mew. The possibilities are endless, and it must happen

And then… there’s bounsweet that seems to be preyed on by literally EVERYTHING in its habitat… I assume the only reason why it’s lineage survived was because it learns to fight back as it evolves, thus allowing reproduction.
