The Holy Spirit is the seal that the 144k received. (2 Cor. 1:22, Eph. 4:30, Eph1:13-14) I was surprised to not hear this taught in what has otherwise been an excellent teaching series.

This was very well done, and I am so thankful i found this. This world is so full of false doctrine and different gospels. We must trust and be willing to lose all along the way, as He WILL bring us through and hold us fast and exceedingly restore. This was truly a breath of fresh air.... inspiring. Thank you for the truth as it is written. I'm glad that there are so many people who know how to interpret Scripture with Scripture and actually read what God's Word is saying. After living a godless life and falling on my face in true repentance guided by the Holy Spirit (not guided by men "repeat-after-me: Lord I'm a sinner..." prayer you normally see in churches today) I have been reading the Bible and wondering where do people get all those extra details that one would only find in the Left Behind books & movies. Come to find out its John Darby and Scofield movement called Dispensationalism and I'm glad I just read the Bible. I thank God that people are starting to wake up. There are others like RC Sproul, Sam Storms, Voddie Baucham, Kim Riddlebarger, Anthony Hoekema, and GK Beale who preach the Bible as it is written and it is breath of fresh air to hear unadulterated, undiluted, solid Truth.

You need to read Rev. 7 "as it is written". These are "of all the tribes of the children of Israel". These guys need to make the easy difficult and complicated because they hate God's truth.

    • @konstantinmorgunov196

@@JosephBoxmeyer Actually Revelation 7 is what proves that Israel is not just some geopolitical country but God's people from all over the world, from every nation (hence the "Great multitude that no one could number from EVERY NATION, from ALL TRIBES, and PEOPLES and LANGUAGE" - REV.7:9). Jews are never called "Servants" of God (REV.7:3) or "Servants" of Christ in the NT (as in 'James, a "servant" of God and Lord Jesus Christ' - James 1:1; Paul, a "servant" of Jesus Christ - Rom.1:1; Peter, a "servant" and apostle of Jesus Christ - 2 Pet. 1:1; Jude, a "servant" of Jesus Christ - Jude 1:1; etc, etc...) only followers of Christ are called "servants" and last time anyone checked, the unbelieving Jews reject Jesus Christ as God in flesh and don't "serve" Him. And if you know anything about the tribes of Israel you would know that the list in (REV.7:5-8) is not the tribes of Israel (Show it to any unbelieving Jew like Ben Shapiro and they'll tell you this is not a list of tribes of Israel as it is out of order and Dan and Ephraim are not part of the list because of idolatry) but a list of all the believing Jews who accepted Jesus Christ and became a blessing to others in the 1st century until now (hence why it starts of with the "tribe of Judah" instead of Reuben because Jesus Christ is of the "tribe of Judah") and is why they are called the "firstfruits" who follow Christ (REV.14:4)... Simply read the Bible and interpret Scripture with Scripture (not have Dispensational pastors or "Left Behind" movies interpret Bible for you) and it's really quite self explanatory. Hope this helps and God bless you.

This was so edifying. I’ve always wondered how I could possibly be considered one of the martyrs. But when the point was made that when we surrender our lives up and through death, that that is a form of martyrdom-did I get that right?

    • @MarkNorthAveChurch
      @MarkNorthAveChurch 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Thanks for your kind words! And yes, we think that Revelation pictures all true Christians as martyrs. This fits with the famous call of Jesus, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it" (Luke 9:23-24). It's not that literally all Christians will be crucified or martyred, but we all must die to the world in a real sense.

@Mendezfarriercompany306 if I'm wrong it would be easy to prove with Scripture. Paul's Gospel was that Christ died for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and that He was raised again (2 Timothy 2:8). Israel's Gospel of the Kingdom is that Israel's promised kingdom is finally at hand. Mark 1:15. Matthew 24:14, it was that Gospel of the Kingdom that Jesus said would be preached in all the world before the end comes. He said that after Israel went preaching their Gospel to Jews only. They had no idea He would be dying, let alone be raising from the dead. That's Paul's Gospel, and it isn't what the Disciples were preaching. The Rock that Jesus would build His church on, also had nothing to do with His death burial and resurrection. Do you agree with that?

I beg to differ. Your interpretation ignores the plain meaning of the text. If the 144K represent the entire church, why 144K? And why belabor their description, not as just "Israel" but - of the TRIBES of the CHILDREN of Israel?" And why then further elaborate as 12K from each of the 12 NAMED tribes. The Holy Spirit was clearly insoiring John to pen it this way to make sure he's understood as referring to a literal group of 144K JEWS! Note then that immediately AFTER that group designated as such, is ANOTHER, different group that is identified as "innumerable" and from all nations, peoples, tribes, languages.

You are correct but many still erroneously say 144000 Jews believing that all Israelites are Jews which that is not the case. A Jew no doubt is an Israelite But the majority of Israelites are not Jews. The modern state of Israel is not the ancient kingdom of the house of Israel but is the ancient kingdom of Judah of Judea which was made up of Judah, Benjamin and Levi.

@@jamesenewold8864 What you’re promoting is a version Christian Gnosticism.
I have put my faith and trust in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus for justification before Holy God, knowing that it is upon the basis of faith alone in the sufficient work He did on the cross that saves a person. I have been walking with Him for over a decade and He has matured me in love by the power of His Spirit, changing my mind and heart from the way my old man used to think and feel, to be more like Him and the new creature He has made me in sanctification. He is the center of my life, the focus of my role as husband, father and spiritual leader in our fellowship community, and I have studied His word diligently.
While there are examples in scripture of metaphor, symbolism and analogy, it is always indicated by the writer as such, there are no “secret keys” to interpretation of plain scripture as meaning something other than what they mean.
What you’re doing is claiming to have a special divine knowledge of a special way to interpret scripture because you have transcended the carnal and are operating spiritually. While we are taught that the Holy Spirit will guide us in our understanding of God’s word and His plan, no where is it indicated that this involves a special, secret interpretation.
When Ezekiel prophesied that literal Jews would come back to the literal land in unbelief after being dispersed throughout the world for a long long time, God meant us to take that literally. The church, for over a thousand years, pointed to the fact that the Jews were Christ rejected and there was no more land of Israel as evidence that Ezekiel’s prophecies were to be taken allegorically.
The church was wrong, God was right, just like you are wrong and these gentlemen in the video are totally wrong, and God is right.

@@PD-iu9bn erroneously yes. But genesis 48 tells us that Manasseh Ephraim were to be known as sons of Abraham and Isaac and Joseph other sons were to be known by their brothers Manasseh and Ephraim. So first of all it was Manasseh and Ephraim who inherited the name Israel not the Jews( Judah) . Today the house of Israel ( ten tribes ) are nations . And yes the modern state of Israel is the ancient kingdom, nation of Judah. The final act God said I will bring Ephraim and it’s brothers Israelites ( other 9 tribes)and Judah and it’s brother’s Israelites ( Benjamin and Levi ) and make them one nation again and no longer two nations. Many evangelical preachers erroneously preach that all of Israel the jews have returned to the promised land. Wrong; only a small percentage of jews( Judah ) have returned and only to occupy a small area.

I really think it is most convincing to take Revelation 6:12-17 as the return of Christ for final judgment.
"[12] When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, [13] and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. [14] The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. [15] Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, [16] calling to the mountains and rocks, 'Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, [17] *for the great day of their wrath has come,* and who can stand?'"
This does demand a recapitulatory interpretation of the book, which I'm convinced of personally, in which Revelation brings us to the end repeatedly throughout the book.

Ancient physical Israel was the church also. The church in the Old Testament was administered mainly by 3 tribes Levi Judah and Benjamin . All the apostles during Jesus Christ ministry here on earth were from these 3 tribes . These three tribes only are called Jews. Never in the Bible is the ten tribes of the kingdom of Israel are called Jews. The term Jew is a nickname for the tribe of Judah and when Benjamin and Levi joined them to make up this new nation of Judah of Judea are called Jews. A Jew no doubt is an Israelite but most Israelites are not Jews. It’s wrong to call Joseph, Dan, Reuben, Manasseh, ect Jews. I hear many preachers say that all Israel was taken by the Babylonians ( Chaldean empire) as slaves. The Bible says it was only the nation of Judah of Judea ( the Jews) . They also say that all of Jews and ten tribes of the house of Israel returned to rebuild the second temple. Again the Bible says ir was only the Jews, the kingdom of Judah; Judah, Benjamin and Levi. Non from the nation of Israel. When we read prophecy for Israel is not in many cases referring to the Jews , the nation of Judah. The descendants of Abraham Isaac and Jacob are not one nation but many. Genesis 17, 35,48,49 chapters. Preachers
Constantly go straight to Genesis 12 but ignore Genesis 17 . Here god replaced the promise of one nation to now many nations. Many also say 144000 Jews. No the Bible says Israelites. 12000 Jews( Judah) 12000 Levites, 120000 Joseph ect….. many Christian’s today are actual descendants of the lost ten tribes of Israel who since the time of them being taken slaves bi the Assyrians God erase their identity ( Hebrew Israelites, and which tribe they were) Deuteronomy 32:26. Today they are nations this world. The promise was I will make you a father of many nations not just one , Manasseh alone was to become the greatest Israelite nation while Ephraim a company or commonwealth of Israelites nations. And each brother also was to become independent nations in the midst of the world.
