    I miss my old home in Hilton. There was never a shortage of rain, flowers, and greenery. I'm glad you enjoyed the beautiful birds around that area.

    Love Sani Pass and Lesotho! I'm fairly certain the yellow flower is Haplocarpha nervosa. The white and pink flower is some Helichrysum species (possibly H. praecurrens). Hope this helps!

      OMG! Brother, you're a gift and/or fountain of knowledge for me! Checked them out, and when it comes to the yellow one I totally agree. When it comes to the white-and-pink one I certainly like the species you suggested, at least the distribution seems to be spot on, so that's what I'm gonna call it from now on.
      (Do you have some flora degree of some sort, or are you "just" very into alpine flora from around the globe in general? I'm so impressed, bcs I couldn't get anywhere with my own "research"...)

      @@Hummingbirder1 I'm an ecologist, but more so just someone very interested in Cape flora and the flora of southern Africa in general :)
