- This video covers our birding in the Wakkerstroom area which results in photos of birds in Highveld habitat, including a host of endemic Larks and Pipits.
There's some video footage from Wakkerstroom Wetland and our lodge, Wetland Country House & Sheds (which was a super-nice place!).
Some birds featured on video are: Helmeted Guineafowl, Southern Masked Weaver, Cape Weaver, Little Bittern, African Rail, Blue-billed Teal, Yellow-billed Duck, Bokmakierie, Greater Striped Swallow, Levaillant's Cisticola, Blue Crane and Long-tailed Wydah.
09:54 I wrongly wrote the ID to be Marsh Sandpiper, when it quite clearly is a Wood Sandpiper/Tringa glareola
Thank you for sharing these videos of beautiful birds.
Lovely footage. Enjoyed . Thanks. Looking forward to Part 5 ND more 🙂
Thank you! Part 5 will take its sweet time to get ready, though, bcs I'm going to visit my sister for almost a week and I don't do my videos on my travel laptop. But, it will be done and it will appear eventually. Probably in 10-14 days...
So nice to see so many lifers to me hehe!
Maybe less of'em on my NE Brazil-videos?🤭
that's right! hehe@@Hummingbirder1
Ah yes, the Hummingbird. Symbol of House Humming 🧐
Hi Carmine... fancy meeting YOU here! House Humming have no representatives on this trip... no Hummingbirds in Africa, only Sugarbirds (will show up eventually in this shitty video series).
hahahahaha
