Thank you so much for consistently posting videos, Drew. I have been going through a rough patch personally lately and you really are an escape from my reality, and an admirable human being, and you give me a lot of joy and a beak from reality. I am far from being an experienced Catan player, I have probably done less than 50 in-person games with friends, but I have (thanks to you) recently developed an interest for online catan and I am in love with this scene. You truly are a great and humble entertainer, and you're an exceptional player too, and I hope to play many many games and perhaps in the future learn the tricks of the trade. Much love from Sweden ❤
Thank you for the incredible and moving message Mike. The love and support doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated here. Keep your head up and look for that 1% improvement each day - The compounding effect of steady progress (in any field) can have a massive impact over time. Stay great my friend! - DandyDrew
at 16:21 isnt it better to try to connect directly since you only need the 1 open settlement spot + road to win? Thanks for your content Drew and great game otherwise, love your energy and hoping to play you in next tournament!
20:06 Why did you place the road on the 6 instead of on the 8? If you placed the road on the 8 you could have won by cutting orange's road by settling on the 5-2 like what you were saying at 20:51
Nah he's 1 resource short in that instance. Would still need to build 2 roads to hit 12, plus the settle on the 5 2. He would have 4 wood and 2 wheat after building the two roads. Could've perhaps traded 1 wheat for a sheep or brick though for the win.
Dandy quick question, in a lot of your videos you mention being frustrated about people recognizing your username, isn’t it possible to change that display name for the same account before each game?
rather than building to 6 2 for the 3 1 your road network would have been more efficient if you got the 3: 1 port on the 8, I feel like thats worth not doubling on the 2 ore since that only give u 1 extra pip of ore.
He mentioned that it was too risky. As soon as he commits his roads there, the whole board would work against him to take it away, because it would be too op for him.

I see notification, I open video
Love the content man. Also loved the discussion in Spanish between Red and Black hahah. Greetings from Argentina
Danny Drew! ...🤣...love your work.
The wheatless uber production setup with 2 specialized ports looked so juicy though...
Yeah i was hoping to see that play. (Mainly because ive played that kind of setup so many times and lost!)
You should have settled on 8-3 instead of 8. Small inaccuracy! :)
I was wondering about 3, 4, 9 road to the 6, 3...then 5, 8, 10 and play off the wood port?
Fun game though!

always learning from your videos :)! (and feeding algorythm)
you made my day
So this ranked live but edited after? Was confused when i saw the lil settlement edits
I played these games live on Twitch streaming and then edited them for the audience on TH-cam!

The change has happened! We just haven’t caught up to those games quite yet.
surprised you didn't extent your road to 13 on your last turn and make it harder for red to win
Nice game :)
Had game with 7 rolled 4 times and 8 rolled 4 times 😂

We built this city on rock and wheat
And 2s.
We built this city on twos and threeeeeees.
Ughhhh win in hand to get to p1 with 8 cards my roll 7. Then had 50 50 shot to get the sheep I needed to still win didn't get lost sad days of catan
Personally, I'm a road AND army guy, I can loose with any win condition
Don’t forget about losing with neither win condition lol
@@dandydrew oh that's easy, I take no pride in that
