- In this video I coded the entire End Dimension Update using only command blocks in only 7 days. This video was eeeeeeee very exhausting
NO HATRED TOWARDS MOJANG: I know I made some jokes against Mojang in this vid but that's only for the funnies and I totally think what they're doing with the game is good.

I just thought of that and wanted to write a comment about it.
The hammer being almost comedically small for how strong it is actually makes me think of Thor's hammer, Mjolnir(the mythological version, not the marvel version). In spite of its immense power, Mjolnir had an abnormally small handle because Loki did Loki things while it was being made.
So its size unironically kinda works.

[Resize/rotate/position the item model] in the texturepack, go to assets/minecraft/models/item and open warped_fungus_on_a_stick.json(hope its correct..) with blockbench. go to top right "display". there, u can adjust anything u want. on ground, left/right hand, in item frame, in head slot... save the file and u can finally go to bed :]

You are REALLY underrated, Bro calculated the Strength of Minecraft Steve and made a End Update (and more) ALL BY HIMSELF!
That is a very nice command block creation! Also, you can use datapacks to make new updates, 'cause they are a lot more complex and can do a lot more!
P.S. you can make custom blocks using entities and models! (example: item_display with specific CustomModelData would be some new block!)
but how to obtain it? u cant mine entities:/
@@Cylentr You can link it to some block, and give that block a special loot table, so it will drop something else when broken.

@@Cylentr Update: you can't really give a custom loot table to a block, but you still can replace items that are dropped.
Also, I have a tip: there are some nice VScode plugins for Minecraft datapacks, such as Language MCfunction. They are very useful for /data commands.

@@matthewmubiru5495 well this was done with just commands and a texture pack and most other modding creators use data packs or mods for something that’s just as cool with the nearly the same level of quality. And command blocks are a LOT harder to make than with mods, for something as complex as this

for my friend's SMP, I am the special effects guy, and while I wouldn't say I am terrible at command blocks (I have used the warped fungus on a stick for lore status button teleports, may revamp soon) I am nowhere near this level, and I hope I can at least come somewhat close

a suggestions: you can make any block have custom textures for every side, this requires no mods (As of 1.19.4 you can also use display entities and a texture pack to add custom blocks using no mods and no overwriting existing blocks)
also: Datapacks are still considered non modded, so you could have done this way easier with them!

plus, there's the execute positioned over world_border that can be used to get the high of the world...
plus, for the terrain generation, we use worldgen

also have you considered spawning entities over the custom ore, instead of completely replacing a block.
You could also try using custom model data to make those textures be specific to your biomes(going to a mushroom biome would be really weird without it)

Ancient City and sculk is 2 different things only thing is necessary is the shrieker,catalyst and sensors and you could make trees or something with textured blocks to match it the structures would be unnecessary you could also use ender City structures for the sculk biome.
Not gonna lie, getting around the crafting recipe thing by instead crafting the hammer in a dispenser was some mad big brain plays.

really good video but i have some suggestions: using a data pack would allow you to make custom biomes and custom terrain features or even different world generation, and a timer using redstone repeaters could be made multiplayer friendly with a scoreboard command
You could try obtaining all of the extremely rare oars or... idk maybe make a warped fungus on a stick. None the less very cool

Right at 4:36 an idea just came up in my head. What if there was an event (like the auroras explosion in subnautica and etc.) that would happen right in the halfway point through your survival world, where the world is just like corrupting from the multiple but not many sculk catalysts and you have to find them (through maps or something idk) then destroy them to stop it. They could be secured by some mini dungeons you have to go through. And when you destroy them all, all of the sculk just dissappears. Since the normal catalyst doesn't delete every sculk it produced, it could look a lot more special. Its your choice if you want the overworld to be infested by sculks or make it go back to normal. Although its not ideal cuz there would be many wardens and it would look ugly. I really hope they do this, since the overworld surface isn't interesting imo, and an event could change it. Also, this infestation is expected to last longer.
