Another display of absolute mastery of the requisite skills required to accomplish this mission. I thought I might have seen the cord for that time machine he actually uses!!! Just incredible!! The Old Army Scout…
I would 100% send you my great grandfather’s slip joint knife 🔪 from WW2 … (it’s in bad shape but still together) so that you could restore it ❤.. but I’d be afraid of it getting lost in the mail - I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 Love your channel and content 👏 Always a pleasure to watch 10/10
Hello I really like your videos. I'm in the mid-west of America and I'm not familiar with "VEB SESTA". I wish you would be able to give a short synopsis on the origin of the items you are working on. That would make the viewing experience better for collectors and people in general. Thanks and keep up the good work!!
Mein erstes Taschenmesser sah genau so aus ....😮 ich habe es verloren . Wo hast Du es gefunden ? " VEB SESTA " Made in GDR . Gute Arbeit und danke fürs Zeigen ! 👍
It never looked that good when it was new. Now it looks GREAT! You continue to amaze!
I used to own one of those when I was a kid. I was born in 1960. I thought I was so cool to have such a fancy knife for back then.
Incredible finish on the steel. Cannot fault this so 10/10. Thanks for making the video.
As always, absolutely beautiful job!
Better than brand new! I love the wharncliffe blade. 10/10
Did it start out as a warncliff blade? Or was it just sharpening over time that reshaped a spear point blade
Did you notice the smaller blade as well? I’m 72 and have seen a lot of older knives with the blades reshaped from sharpening by even older old timers
10 out of 10 again.
Outstanding restoration, a 9.99 only because you needed a few drops of oil on reassembly and didn't do it.😅 Really it's a 10😊
So satisfying!!!😌😌😌
Nice refurbishing of that older knife. Looks new and has many, many years left in it now... Thumbs Up!
Great job! 10 of 10.
Ich (53) habe ein ähnliches Messer von meinem Vater geerbt. Dürfte aus den 1970er Jahren sein.
Gute Arbeit!

Nice polish. Good re-profile of the blade. It’s sad when people misshapen their blades over time. I’ll give it a 9. 🎸🔪

Very, very nicely done. Just Added to the Integrity of the knife. Reach up and bet yourself on the back. You deserve it.

When I see a great video, I clap. Indeed, and with that I pay homage. So when you see an emoticon 🙌, it's not an emoticon, it's reality
Great restoration, cool knife. I had a similar one years ago. Veb Sesta is German brand, couldn't find much info on them
Damn nice piece. 8.34/10

You always go the extra lengths to polish the blades and other implements. More than most others do

I give this a 10 out of 10! What kind of knife is it? Do you know by any chance who made it?
Thank you! The knife is made in Germany

Wonderful work, as usual…. Did you find out when it was made and the manufacturer is?
Thank you! The knife was made in 1960-1970 in the German Democratic Republic

I had an idea that it was German. The blade lock is very reminiscent of the older German folding hunting knives
🙌🏽

One thing I noticed is you didn’t oil it? Otherwise 10+/10.🤗🇦🇺

@0:06 "VEB SESTA" was an east German cutlery manufacturer

What do you use to clean that black plastic? (not the buffing)
Did you sharpen the little saw or not?

I would subscribe and I would upvote, but I will not watch a restoration when the main blade is already whittled down. That does not appeal to me.
Buh bye.
