The music in the Live Action show is so painfully generic. I wish they just brought Kohei Tanaka and Shiro Hamaguchi in to do new orchestrations. This video shows how much the music really impacts these moments. I just feel nothing when I hear the music in the Netflix version.

Nah, you're just massively biased. Not your fault, can't be helped, but remains pretty ludicrous to downplay the excellent work done in the live action when it comes to music. In fact, I exactly appreciate that the music gives the show its own flavor without feeling a copycat branch of the anime. You, like many others, just couldn't imagine anything "One Piece" related that isn't literally One Piece as you always knew it. To each its own I guess. For me, for example, these edits feel terribly cringy because I can't fucking shake the image of the anime out of my head while I'm watching an actual different show. That's pretty awful in my book.
