- Some anime are first produced as anime and then adapted into live-action films or series. While some adaptations are well-received, others are not as successful.
Information :
1) Live stage adaptations are not included in this discussion.
2) In some cases, the live-action adaptation is produced first, followed by the anime version, such as "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas."
3) Announced adaptations like "Naruto" that have not yet been released will not be included.
4) Some anime receive multiple live-action adaptations, such as "Erased," which had a 2-hour movie in 2016 and a 12-episode series in 2017.

Before Dragon Ball Evolution Z Edition there was a live action called Dragon Ball The Magic Begins. That was far worse of a live action Dragon Ball movie based on the Anime.

They made a Hyouka live action where they made Chitanda so ugly that she looks like Charlie from The Bumblebee movie.
Gary Daniels did a very well-done Kenshiro. It's a pity the writing wasn't close to the best. But for the fight scenes, there are definite benefits to the star's being a former world champion kickboxer with additional training in Tae Kwon Do (an ITF variant) and Mongolian kung fu.

And I think the best Live Action of Kimi ni Todoke is the 1st one which is a movie than the recent series, and they are played by Mikako Tabe and Haruma Miura(RIP) who also played Eren in AOT's LA😔

Live action no get similar to the Japanese animated series for the design of the character and the clothes and the scene of the series and/or movies and no have adapting the scenes of the episodes or chapters and foul of characters what no have appeareance to the series or movies but other meanly what i no get view but be view good. I imaginating to Dragon Ball and Naruto adapted to the real Life and Sailor Moon and Digimon and wanna be the strongest in the world! Live action and security have get adapted to Oliver and Benji and Inazuma eleven. Dream team! (Whistle!) Little Witch Academia.

It is understandable that there are changes because it is called adaptation for a reason, it is not just about copying and pasting the design, plots and other elements of the mangas if they do not fit well with the medium to which you plan to adapt it. So remember people, to adapt it is not enough to put everything exactly the same as in the original work, that does not guarantee a good result
Dragon Ball needs a remake with a plot more faithful to the original work.
Attack on Titan needs a remake with a multi-ethnic cast, to be more faithful to the characters imagined by the creator of the work.
Bleach would also need a multi-ethnic cast from the Soul Society saga and beyond. Naruto is another anime that would need a multi-ethnic cast.
One Piece is an example of an anime that managed to use a multiethnic cast, to be more faithful to what the creator of the work (Eichiro Oda) imagined.

Remember people, to adapt works like these ones is not enough to put everything exactly the same as in the original work, that does not guarantee a good result, it's something difficult and you sometimes need to make some changes, changes don't necessarily have to be a negative thing
Oh and maybe you think that this thing of making live action of manga and anime is something recent, but not at all, Japan has been doing it for decades, if you want to investigate later, there will be many examples to check
Shanks looks like a miserable middle aged man in this video not watched the live action though and he kinda looked not as great as now when one piece started so who knows :P
