In working condition. This phone has been in the family for about 70 years. It spent the last 25 yrs collecting dust in my parents basement. I am planning to have it fully restored.
I just found the exact same model as yours. I'm in the process of restoring it and when it is done, I will mount it in my house but rather than using it as a phone, I'm connecting mine to use as my front doorbell.
hello I just came across your. I myself have a northern electric hand crank telephone Circa 1927. the way I found out the year being a very curious person on I like taking things apart. what I did was to take the mouthpiece apart and I found the date printed May 1927 on it it was the only date I could find on the whole thing. your phone is in really great shape, the only thing I would suggest is you use something like Old English or Murphy's Oil Soap on the wood don't restain it don't redo the Finish leave it like it is it's a beautiful beautiful piece. I myself like the restore things but it's already decent leave it. as far as you get into work on a phone line that is extremely doable but you got to ask yourself how you want to do this you got to run power to the phone which that's no problem any landline will have the power to run it. I did that one time with my phone. my roommate hated the ringing Bells you just got to figure out how to hook it up so if you know a phone technician I can help you that you receive phone calls on it with the ringer ringer. if you take parts from another phone let's say a push button dial tone phone you could dial out you just need to know how to hook it up I done the same thing sadly I do not have a landline anymore I hope you have a blessed day sorry for my run on sentences good luck and God bless with your phone it's a beautiful piece
