@@WorldMoneyWins yeah, mints, mintages (or rarity), and designs are what to use it for. The prices are all obsolete, but you can usually get a sense for what a ballpark value may be, but keep in mind there are even exceptions to that! The best way to use it is try to memorize a large part of the book, this is what I’ve done, I’ve “read it” like 3 times. Then you’ll know what to look for at a LCSs (and there are patterns for what’s usually rare and valuable). You don’t want to be looking stuff up as you’re buying at least for in person transactions (but that’s just me). 🔥🦈🌊
@@SilverOceans That's a good idea. I'm looking for vintage stuff, so I will buy it even if it's not valuable because it's usually in the "cheap silver" bin. Then I can look it up at my leisure. I think that might add an extra layer of fun, discovering what I've purchased after I bring it home.
I've been considering picking that book up for years! Never pulled the trigger, so it might be watching your video that pushes me to make the purchase. That book covers the harder to find bars mostly.
This is a very cool book! I actually have plans to create a similar type of resource that is specialized for a subset of private refiners that we specialize in. I believe there are several books out there like this. Awesome pickup :D
That's a great idea. I was thinking of some way to look up bars that subscribers wanted identified. I just told LBS yesterday that he could text me pictures of a bar that he wants me to identify
That Silver Struck guy... I don't know about him 🤔 He is starting to cost me more and more.😂 I have been avoiding that book. The less I know the better. I can see myself with goals of "finishing this page"
Definitely a very expensive book. I like learning this stuff, and if I ever eventually want to sell this book, I could probably sell it for about the same price
Ya, it has the mintage IF IT IS KNOWN. Many bars listed dont because the mintage numbers in unknown. You can text me a pic of a bar you are interested in and I can see if I can find it in the book. You have my cell bro. :-)
That book is a great reference, I have it and I use it all the time.
🔥🦈🌊
I'm surprised it how wrong I was about some bars that I looked up and who manufactured them. 🤣

Yeah, and it identifies manufacturers that I didn't know were making particular bars.
Very awesome pickup. I agree @Silver Struck is to blame.
Thanks for sharing
Best Wishes
Thanks Sherie! He is responsible for my wallet getting lighter all the time LOL

👍🏼
I was thinking you could do a similar book :-)
@@WorldMoneyWins I only have like 19 vintage 1oz silver bars... It would make for a short book! 😅
Thank you for sharing with us
My pleasure.🙂
Big like 18! Excellent video and thank you for sharing
Thank you too! :-)
That is a cool book. A wealth of knowledge right there in your hands.
It does have quite a lot of information, and that's good for me because I like to continue to learn
@@WorldMoneyWins that's awesome, I may need to get one too
I do wish the photographs were better though, but it doesnt hinder it's utility.
Awesome book, I remember you mentioning this in your last video. Looking forward to seeing you pickup some of these silver bars!
You and me both!
That is a great book to have, I look up bars someone shows on a video and answer questions they have.

This is an awesome book Wins. I see some familiar bars in there. Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year😊✌🏻
Happy new year! :-)
Pretty cool. Some good info to look up in that. 👍
Its a bit difficult to navigate, but I'm getting used to it. It will take a while before I can look something up quickly. So much info in there.

OMG why did you put that idea in my head?? LOL

Good book to Have
Upon inspecting it further, I really like it. I even found th eHalloween bar that Tuli Tuli sent me for trade. :-)
I need that book!
Get the 5th Edition. 💪
He's about to get blamed again! 💥👍🏼
I saw a couple of your bars in there later as I was looking through it! :-)
@@WorldMoneyWins I'm going to send you some photos if you would be so kind as to look them up for mintage and year. This book is awesome!
That’s a pretty cool book. A steep price tag… but cool

Ha ha, that has silver struck written all over it.
You know it LOL!!
I was just thinking about asking you if this bar you're pointing at right now is in that book! 😅😂🤣
I'm pointing toward the liquor bar right now LOL
@@WorldMoneyWins about time for a little nip of courage! 🤣 Stay safe out there brother. 👌🏼
silver struck has that effect on people
He is an enabler!
Does that book have the mintage numbers in the years and all pertinent information for each bar?
