Man, that is so simple and just works so good. Thanks for sharing this engineering.

    I like the video
    You showed.
    It seem to point out
    Everything in use .
And your design of the processes is outstanding.
Im going to try to build one myself.
Your video answered a lot of questions i had.
thank you for Sharing this video.
Well done with the whole project and video presentation.
    You really have something there.
I have watched a lot of these types of systems.
But like yours the best. Thank you.

I really like your machine , My Dad and I were building one but he died unexpectedly , It s taken me this long here ( after having to buy wood ) to start looking at building it again . we had the trough built with an input chain and I found the bar 36 inch with 404 chain and I have a bank of 3 30gpm pumps , the cylinder for the splitter part , but no motor for the chainsaw I have no idea what the plan was . What motor do you use . great little machine you have thanks for the update video

I used a small MGG2 motor. I would think you could use a lot bigger motor with them pumps, not sure what motor though. Keep researching and stick with it, sounds like you have almost all you need. Thanks!

Good machine !!! Where did you buy the sproket with taper-lock on saw ? And is it a 3/4" shaft motor ? Thanks !

Thanks! It’s been awhile I can’t remember where I got the sprocket. I remember searching online and stumbled across the company that makes them. Shaft size was smaller than 3/4”. Really haven’t had to think about the processor much it’s just done it’s job every year. Good luck with your build!

    Good afternoon
I have a question about the chainsaw.
You was use an MGG20020 engine, but with what shaft? How do you attach the chainsaw crown?
    Thank you!
    Nice processor!!

Nice looking machine. what hydraulic motor are you using to run the saw?

    Love it!! Sale it?

I don't want to sell it. Just finished cutting all my firewood for the year in 80 degree weather and never broke a sweat. Been doing a little work on the saw and playing with some different oil, which gave me quite a bit more chain speed. Its never ran better! Thanks

Metalcutter I love that thing it's small an simple!!! I would love to get someone here where I live to fab that!!! It dt look like it would cost much to build... all I would try to do is learn on how to make the saw run faster... I say that motor, hydraulics which all needs to be bigger which is more money lol. Thank u!!

Thanks man, I probably have about $4500 in material for this build. That"s trying to be as cheap as possible using ebay and scrounging for material without making it look like a total hack job. Lots of time invested in building it though. Hydraulics are expensive, even all the lines and fitting add up.

I have a GREAT idea. Why don't you speed up almost everything so we CAN NOT tell just how SLOW you machine really is?
