Jonghyun is not his depression. As a Shawol, it annoys me to search his name and find that videos like, "Shinee crying when Jonghyun is mentioned" or videos from his funeral which should not even be on YT. Jonghyun was a funny and witty guy, considerate of others, and always taking care of Shinee. No one talks about his vocals, his talent as a songwriter, or how he practically changed SM (SM allows idols more creative freedom now). They turned him into a tragedy and mention him just to feel cool and special.
True, I see Non Shawols only mentioning his death, not knowing what brother he was to his members, how great his vocal capabilities were, or what he had done in SM. They are just blind.
Mhm as a shawol i agree. Non-shawols all of a sudden on 18 December come out and start saying "this day Jonghyun died i cant stop crying and blablabla" Like we know you arent actually crying. We shawols moved on about this. Like pls know him for his talents and more and not for his death.
Honestly as SM stans we need to work harder to promote our artists’ talents. Like SM ent idols get so much much hate and disfavour despite people respecting them, (if that makes sense). I’m not trying to say that we need to convert people but we need to show some more pride and love for our idols because my future will be spent with SM family and that’s on period.
The words mistreated and underrated are thrown around so much that my brain shuts off when I read the words. Stray Kids, Ateez, and (G)I-DLE are not underrated. People praise them all the time and they have pretty good sales. Underrated groups are like April, ONF, and especially Limesoda. And April and ONF have been gaining popularity relatively recently. Groups are not mistreated if they don’t get a comeback soon or as much promotion, that is mismanagement. Have you heard of TCRNG, that is mistreatment.
the thing with underrated and overrated is quite similar. a that is said to be "underrated" isn'tvery much underrated such as LOONA, if they were underrated, then not many people will say stan loona for______. and with overrated, they're just very popular and/or overhated. (just my opinion)
Since you mentioned Jonghyun...I need to say something.... People need to stop blaming SM for Jonghyun's and Sulli's death honestly...that's sickening....just imagine...they had loads of reasons that piled up over time that lead them to make such decisions but reducing it to just being SM as the reason is extremely disrespectful...some random k-popers have the audacity to use it as an excuse to bash the company is absolutely disgusting...
I can't place the entire blame, for in Sulli's situation she was literally asking for SM to do something about the hate but they did NOTHING. So I do blame them in part for hers. Also SM just treats their artists terribly which obviously attributes to mental health..
@@indigoslife1202 The night of hate comments? Didn't she mention that she sued one of those netizens and then felt sorry for him and dropped the charges? I do believe she was too nice about it.
Ok, wait. It’s completely understandable that you cannot use such a tragic deaths for your own means, every single decent person will agree. But let’s admit that SM doesn’t make a very good job at protecting their Idols just like lots of other companies, and if we ignore that, then how will we know that our idols are going to be ok? They shouldn’t push the blame on SM, but SM should start being fully concerned about their idols well-being from now on
same, it's like a sports competition at this point. who complaints the most! especially since most of the 'mistreatment' is actually just fans not getting what they want
@@moonlightbae7015 i would rather speak of neglection for both groups rather than calling it mistreatment. to me actual mistreatment is what happened to bap, trcng or the east light
Yeah, RV’s rap line isn’t that great. They’re a vocal group before anything else. Irene also has to be the leader, a sub vocalist and a lead dancer while Yeri is a sub vocalist and the group’s maknae. Their harmonies with each other (as well as their group members) outshine their peers. There are definitely better rappers, but not many groups outshine RV in terms of vocals 💗💛💙💚💜
I just think it's so funny how SM tried to do the graduation think with NCT dream but fans were so heartbroken that they literally said ok let's give them what they want
A problem i have with it is that they'll be disappointed when the idol actually turns out to be straight YET they don't listen to us when we say stop assuming their sexualities (it goes the same for assuming they're straight)
The Korean society is really conservative, I have a Korean friend who is a lesbian and she got so much hate from her family, classmates and the society in general.... just imagine what will happen if a popular idol comes out as LGBTQ...
Please, I get that some of them mean it as a joke but too many of them are like “gay panic 🥺🥺🥺🥵🥵🥵” and when someone says to stop assuming their sexuality in general (wether it’s saying their gay or straight) they wanna get and attack you like???? It personally makes me uncomfortable seeing stuff like that cause we don’t even know them personally like that. And I remember when a fan asked If Sehun was gay or not and he laughed saying no he was straight and some fans got upset (if I remember correctly. Tell me if this wrong).
Fr, and the fact that most of it isn’t even just because an idol looks or acts “gay” or some shit but it comes from their deep fetishization of gay people which just makes it even weirder. Like I don’t know have you noticed that the idols in a group that act “fruity” are the most popular? ex. Ryujin? I mean don’t get me wrong I know she is popular also because she is extremely talented and beautiful, but most of the comments I see about her is how she was recruited and insisting that she is 100% gay just because the thought the girl was pretty.
i had a jisung photo card from the mfal album in my phone case and a lady i worked with asked if he was my son and my white ass was standing there like 🧍🏼♀️. yes but no
The only collab I really liked was don't need your love by nct dream × hrvy. He fitted in well and the behind the scenes stuff was really fun to watch.
yesss dynl is a whole boppp like hrvy and the dreamies both pulled off the concept really well !! I recommend you to listen to "up to you" by prettymuch ft. nct dream... that song is also a BOP
My kpop confession: I think kpop makes kpop fans insecure and make their self-esteem low. I know kpop is great and it makes us happy but i'm talking about the negative thing about it, notice that kpop idols debut around on their teen age mostly 15 to 20 years old, and some kpop fans are also teens, most of kpop fans compare themselves to kpop idols. I always saw on meme comment section fans, "Wonyoung debuted at the age of 14, while me here i'm 14 too, on the couch eating my chips and doing nothing" "wow they are already having career at the age of 17, while me here just doing nothing" There's always things like that, those meme comments can also influence others on how they see themselves, once someone read that comment they will also be related to that because most kpop fans are teens. We compare ourselves too much in idols, that's what I meant here
True, but I think what we all need to realize in general is that we can't and shouldn't compare our looks and "talents" to idols - that we can't look like idols is a given bc none of us can afford plastic surgery (and maybe it's better that way. Be happy with your looks people, you are beautiful 💅) As for "talent": just cause you can't dance, sing or rap as well as certain idols can doesn't mean that (1) you can't learn it and (2) you as a being are just an utterly talentless, shitty and overall redundant individual. People should have more self-respect oh my god. Thus, k-pop can instead work as some sort of wake-up call for us to pursue the interests we've always wanted to pursue, but were too lazy to. Or work as an inspiration for more or less amazing fanart (*cough fanfiction cough *); the creation of strong online communities (tho they are sometimes toxic) that can even clown Trump; interesting discussions about important topics like this one :D I truly get your point, but it's not all bad. Maybe not everyone posting and liking the kinds of comments you describe is all that serious about it (tho many certainly are, which indeed is concerning). I suggest disliking these comments from now on and encouraging the commenters to look for the positive within themselves. Everybody has and can create something of value, of that I'm certain. Love💕 from your friendly neighborhood choice (A.C.E's fandom^^, in case you don't know them, I recommend checking them out when you're bored, very much appreciated :D )
Yes finally someone said it I'm also feeling insecure bcz I'm only 18 but still stuck between my dreams Sometimes I got frustrated when I see them having career at early age I feel useless in front of my family and my own view I hope something can change this thinking of mine 😊🥺🥺

True the only thing they have had was exo showtime and ladder season 1&2 where 80% is just eating and the fact that 3 members left bcs sm didn't treat the Chinese members equally
i stan both shinee & exo. shinee had two reality shows at debut (one is unwatchable), one after 5 yrs, & one in 2018 (before military). their yt channel just going now. exo got one in 2013,2014,2015 (yt channel contents), 2016,2017,2018 (cbx), 2019. their master list for shows they’ve guested on is also very long. i don’t know why i always hear this narrative? is it bc u expect as much content as 4th gen groups like nct?
3:50 I remembered someone made a post calling (G)-Idle Lesbian Icons, and then someone mentioned in a comment the fact that Soojin used to date Pentagon's Hui so she was not a lesbian, and the OP (and a lot of fans) got mad, and some of them even started bashing Hui, like wtf
My opinions at each because I have nothing else to do: 1. The Voice of the reason. Their is nothing wrong with having plastic surgery. YG is lying about the no plastic surgery it was proven multiple times. Fans defend like it's a bad thing. 2. I actually don't care. 3. It isn't but it's kinda weird at the same time. Like you said members changes is so hard for my little brain. 4. Agree. Outing is something really bad, you should do researches about this. 5. Half agree. Sometimes people that don't even belongs to the culture cancel artists when the people of tye culture itself doesn't care. 6. Agree. Nobody cares about international fandoms. The truth is that they aren't that many Kpop international fans. 7. Agree this is so bad. 8. Red Velvet is meh in rapping but have enjoyable raps. 9. AGREE. As sad as it is people cared about Jonghyun when he died. He was an amazing artist. 10. Kpop Stans are just always complaining in general. 11. This is kinda sad. But I agree with u. 12. Agree. Western collabs most of the time are just so blend. Written in the stars and Lo Siento are exceptions. 13. ...people thought Go Won was my gf. Not mad tho. 14. That name is so dumb 15. Same 😭 16. I don’t get why my fellow Reveluvs complain about RV not getting a 2020 comeback... Wendy was in a serious accident and Irene had her “scandal”. I’d rather have all five of them ready to make their comeback in full force 💗💛💙💚💜
I haven't seen many reveluvs complain about not getting a 2020 cb. On twt we were more so complaining about SM not giving any content other than I&S while they were promoting. SM does not utilize their YT channel at all. They could have posted dance practices, song covers, behind the scenes or making the music video clips, La Rouge concert clips, vocal lesson videos, workout with Joy and Yeri videos but they did nothing. Yes Yeri has her show but thats about it other than their IG.
@@angelinavws Right even the bare minimum is too hard...we had to practically bully them to congratulate 300 million views for Bad Boy mv....we never even got a group pic for the Spotify award. Im still mad that we didn’t get a Russian roulette dance cover from OT5 on TikTok and I don’t have TikTok. I guess it’s just little things that the company could be doing to promote RV as a group instead of fans looking for crumbs while waiting for a cb!
I hate how sm doesn't promote EXO-SC and that's definitely one thing I don't like and we have the right to call them out. Before the enlisments the promotion was really bad it got worse as years went by after obessesion it was also awful for quite some time. I'm happy that right know they actually get promoted as soloists and we get content. But I feel like most EXO-L's don't like sm cuz they didn't promote EXO as a group like they could or should and didn't protect them from haters, rumours. That's why most of us use the term mistreatment, neglect and others.. while those aren't the right terms to use most of the time SM sucks
Yeah SC definitely deserved better promotions, I'm still not sure why they never made music show appearances... Also SM definitely needs to provide better protection from antis
Ok Muslims here me out I’m from Turkey and I “born as a Muslim” so I know Islam culture really well and MAW has NOTHING TO DO WITH something offending. They only used Arabic architecture and objects from that country. Not all the arabic architecture are divine and sacred you know? In MV they don’t have a mosque and the carpets are not scatter they were just CARPETS which are very famous Anyways It was Aladdin concept so if you are not “offended” to Disney because of Aladdin you have no right to be offended because of MAW stop making everything dramatic...
i honestly got scared and lost respect for exols after everything they said when superm was announced. the amount of hate that was thrown at taemin just because we said he might be the leader! y'all crossed the line ...
And they still hate on them everyday! I wanna get into EXO (I mean, I've always loved their music) but I'm scared of all the negativity towards SuperM and NCT in the fandom :((
i totally agree with #2. when i first got into nct i rather found it so interesting, that i almost immediately got it and was never a problem with me, so it kinda made me mad how they would go on variety shows and have them explain it over and over again instead of doing the research? yeah
The biggest hypocrisy from people who don’t want to get to know NCT is also when they they say it is because there is too many members when most of these people stan from 3 to 4 groups with every group having at least 10 members so if we do the quick math we can clearly see that they are in total more members than there is in NCT that they are already following. And I also agree about the concept,it is fairly easy but people want to act as if it was quantum physics. SMH
The amount of SM contents right here isssss I'll state my opinion here When something is wrong they drag "SM" but when something is released and it is really good they forget the "SM" come on they are working together
Sm fans should realize it. Not a single company is perfect, its all business, music's production, sales, incomes and all which comes first. Hating everything going wrong on 'sm' do nothing good. Same exo, rv or nct work with this company, and visa versa. Ig nobody hates sm more that sm groups stans literally for anything.
About the nct dream graduation thing with mark, I felt like people complained about it too much and SM decided to forget the idea. When it was announced people went crazy, wouldn’t stop talking about it and saying “bring back mark”. I guess they decided to put him back
The NCTZen who sent the mistreatment one.. Lemme remind you of all the times the units have been mistreated, how the members have been mistreated. Getting content doesn't mean mistreatment doesn't exist/happen.
omg thank you to the person who wrote that about ncts concept its not hard its just yall choose to make it hard nct are a very taltented group like i have been into kpop for a long time now and the groups that caught my eye were nct seventeen and exo like i have not seen a group like them before like exo started so many trends in the kpop world for example the lightstick 1st grp to have the bluetooth and colour changing lightstick first group to sell more than million every single album they have released. And nct i have never seen a grp with that concept and its so easy to understand theyre are different units aimed in different countries so far we have wayv in china market (u should check out theyre music its amazing),nct 127 mostly aimed in the us market and dream r focused more in korea but nct as a whole r aimed towards the us amd theyre debuting a new unit in japan this yr and seventeen one of the most well rounded groups ever they are a self produce group meaning they controbute in writing composing and choreographing theyre music (probs why its all good)and on top of that theyre comedians.ppl make excuses but its really not that hard all these groups work so hard and are so talented they desevere so much and also sm shouldve promoted exo in the us cuz theyre music is literally top tier and they wouldve been way more popular internationally if sm was smart.
SM stans from what I've seen like to throw blame at other SM groups together. When Suju's comeback 15th anniversary comeback was announced the whole tweet was full of reveluvs and exo-ls being frankly ageist and saying 'no one wants these hags to have a comeback' or 'get back in your care home, grandpa' as if people over 30 aren't allowed to be idols or something. and Suju have their own label so they weren't holding back exo/RV comebacks in the first place... nctzen fandom is a mess sometimes, solo stans arguing, unit stans arguing nonstop. nct are pretty mismanaged (no full album for dream despite nearly 5 years after debut?) and foreign members definitely mistreated and 127 always gets most promotions to the point of overwork (makes no sense) while wayv is stuck in this ambiguous cpop/kpop bubble and no sense of direction for the future. I think nctzens are just always mad because SM will annoy one side of the fandom whatever they do. But I'm still pissed that WayV's Xiaojun was in a Chinese webdrama with a lead role but SM/Label V didn't promote his acting debut AT ALL and fans only found out ONE DAY before the drama aired because of Weibo article and Xiaojun telling us on bubble despite it being filmed over ONE YEAR AGO. Yet when Doyoung and Jaehyun were cast in dramas, the news was literally out six months before the official air date and their trailers were posted on NCT official accounts to promote them.
Other EXO-L: being pressed that Karina appear in tha ad of Kai Me as an EXO-L: become Karina biased after watching the ad Karina is even younger than me but i became crazy over her 😭
@@aathira741 it's because of the way sm used Kai to promote the new group aespa also they chose the member of aespa who was involved in rumors of hate speech towards Kai and other idols
I disagree w/ ur point on the collabs. I don't think the friendship of both parties (kpop group + western artist) should b a factor in A) having a collab in the first place or B) making it a good or memorable collaboration. Both don't speak each other's languages, do you want them to be these best friends that go on shopping sprees together? They r both doing business together as business partners to thrive in the entertainment business. Both parties r trying to make good money and publicity. They aren't trying to socialize. I feel like what's setting collabs back are that companies don't try and just rely ONLY on the fame of both parties to make it big instead of taking time to make a good quality collaboration. An example of a good collaboration was Seventeen + Pink Sweat$ Seventeen's Joshua and DK collabed w/ Pink Sweat$ and both parties did a phenomenal job. Pink Sweat$ discovered them thru social media then contacted them, then both parties collabed and created a masterpiece. They didn't rely on the one or both parties' success and fanbase to hype up the song, they relied on making a good quality song. It's sad it doesn't get much attention. An example of a bad collaboration is Selena Gomez + Black Pink They mainly relied on each other's success as a way for both parties to get popularity for the song. The overall opinions from the general public were not satisfied w/ the quality of it though. It was very underwhelming and just lacked in a lot of aspects and just felt very empty.
I don't think the artists need to be friends, but I think both need to at least have a genuine interest in the collaboration. In MX's case, it felt like the collab was just forced by the label since French Montana was being unprofessional during their performance. But I definitely agree with your point about the quality of certain collabs being lackluster and relying on the names of the artists to carry the song to success.
@@YeriPotter I agree w/ that. If one of the parties isn''t putting any effort into the song, they r just contributing to the bad quality of the song. I'm glad we found ways to agree :)
i agree that ice cream wasn't good, but yg gave ariana grande producers, composers and lyricists to do the song, since it was a collaboration aimed to western audiences. since ariana is huge on the us at the moment(billboard hot 100, spotify and all that stuff), yg thought that western audiences would like what they did, i think it was a surprise for everyone that it came out so bad.
@@wallaceavila6560 I agree. Imo, I rlly don’t care if both parties like each other or not as long as they r making good music together. I’ve seen an interview w/ both parties together and Selena looked so genuine and elegant as always. I’m rlly glad they both admire each other and r both interested in working together. It’s sad the amounts of hate she received for being the featured artist tho. I wish nothing but the best for her.

About the Jonghyun case, as a shawol I can say that his image is abused everyday by people that just want another like. Firstly, most of the TikToks that I've seen about him are by other fandoms and they ALWAYS SHOW HIS FUNERAL. Name me one shawol who wants to willingly see those images. Secondly, the shawol media content is always about his music, the good things he's done, his friendships and fun things in general. We like to remember the good things about him and we celebrate his legacy and his work. Thirdly, I like to listen to B-side songs because no non-shawol goes there and therefore I read only 3 or 4 comments that say RIP or I miss him, but I feel that most of them are genuine as they mention things that makes you understand that they just want to express their emotions. I never open the comment section in SHINee's or Jonghyun's official relieses.
Agree, i have been shawol sine 2013 and the people who comment RIP or i miss you are mostly fans who get to know SHINee after Jonghyuns passing. And another thing is that i was once talking with kpop fans and i said that i can no longer listen to SHINee songs on repeat everyday because of his passing and they were like "you are not a real fan if you cant listen to their music or you were never a real fan". And im like i never said i dont listen to SHINee i said i dont listen as often. And another thing that bothers me is that Jonghyun is the poster idol of the dark side of kpop. Like his passing is used as a further confirmation on the problems in kpop industry (the same problems in western industry). And most of the people know him only as the idol from the dark side of kpop videos or his suicide. Not about his talents, achievements, music and personality.
i think using kpop as a form of escapism to forget abt serious issues with yourself is INSANELY risky. If you're not thinking abt kpop and it might lead you into a serious depressive episode that's very dangerous. Your favorite idols could get in a career-threatening scandal or disband at any moment. The people that think this way are walking on a type rope, and the idols can cut that rope faster than I can snap my finger.
That’s the thing. I am Christian myself and saw through out the years many times how symbols from my religion were continuously used by artists all over the world in a way that could be or is disrespectful. However I never saw mass hate being send do those artists by people of my religion or anyone trying to “cancel them”like it was in the case of NCT. Additionally there was a Muslim fan that made a thread on Twitter that showed in detail how the music video for “Make a Wish”had nothing to do with their religion and was only inspired by “Aladdin” yet so many fans still attacked the group and are doing it till this day. I frankly believe in the light of these evidences that were shown by the Muslim fan they don’t deserve this backlash at all. There was another incident with the background of their stage but clearly the boys are not in charge of that and it was to blame the tv station yet still they were the ones who got bashed for it. SMH
I kind of agree and disagree with the one saying SM stans should stop complaining, Like NCT is making content in YT almost everyday, and very funny videos, we have 2 comebacks for each unit every single year, stop complaining, well we can complain about Winwin's unexistence lines cause I'm sure he doesn't even has to assist to the studio to record a song. I can perfectly understand EXO-L complaining about EXO's comeback and content, we barely see more than 2 or 3 EXO members in each video (since OBSESSION's promotions were finished) and most of those interactions are because Baekhyun and Kai are in SuperM, we haven't had an EXO comeback since 2019, and much more
i still don't get it why some of few fans of exo & nct want superm disbanded and their twitter stan have a war and told superm to disbanded. gurl- i mean this unit supposed to make both of group known out there even more. superm should be a the friendship mastermind between shawol,exo-l and nctzen :(( imagine hardworking and get less of sleep but many people hope for your disband.... 💔
Istg I love every single idol in Superm and I'm sure I can't talk for any fans who kinda dislike SuperM but, personally, I can give you some reasons why I don't think this group is a good idea. First of all, it's SM putting the most popular ones in a pedestal like they're the only talented and deserving in their groups. I don't like this kind of favoritism. And second, it's just like you said: hardwork. But not the type we apreciate. It's pure overwork and only because LSM had an epiphany and decided to make SM's name in US market. Like, in 2019 Beak promoted his 1st solo EP, EXO 6th album and Superm stuff. My boy was exhausted. And I'm not gonna talk about Mark. SM does it to their idols, makes them work till colapse. They need rest, not the opposite. Yes, they're tightening up bonds, which is a pretty good thing but Idk maybe they could do this other ways. Variety shows, Stations, TH-cam original content, SM town live performances, just figuring out and omg I've been talking forever. Hope you get it

jjong was very empathetic & sensitive, i hate how ppl took special moments between shinee & shawols (like jjong crying over a fan event at their first tokyo dome concert) & warped it into their own narrative, without even bothering to find out the truth. videos abt him from nonshawols have millions of views & top comments under them are full of assumptions like “he must’ve know then that’s why he was crying” “nobody knew he was suffering” etc. his family friends group & fans knew, he was very open abt it & was seeking help. some ppl really feed off this kind of stuff & it’s very subtle & hard to explain it but it’s true. nonshawols quote tweets with crying emojis & ‘i’m crying’ even tho they aren’t when shawols have told them many times it’s very triggering (or off putting) to see jjong content being flooded with these kinds of thing. it ruins the safe space we have to remember him. there is a proper way to have sad discussion about it that are actually more genuine & respectful.
Why people still think idols have to rap like khh or North American hiphop stars(the creators of Hiphop)? Korean idols sing POP genres, the most close boygroups got to hiphop was those 90s 1st generation. Korean idols are trained most vocally, they will mostly sing rap or sing fast. Stop forcing they have to be the best at rapping, noooo girl groups and boygroups are nice the way they are. If someday, they again debut a group 100% focused on rapping, I might change my idea. I dont think nobody in kpop are the best rappers in South Korea. Please listen to the respectful khh artists like Tiger Jk, Yoonmirae, Dpr live, hiphop labels like AOMG, Ambition musik, etc
About rv rap line i disagree( disagree to the confession) . Rap are not always supposed to be hard raps and rv has more of soft raps and I agree all of their raps complement their songs . I can't imagine hard raps in rv's songs .
I do believe that if SM mistreated the Chinese line in NCT (the way they did with Tao, Kris, and Luhan), Chenle would buy SM. Jokes aside, I don't think the other members or the fans would let that happen.
About the names of different kpop related stuff, there could be a lot of jokes. In the country I live Red Velvet is just a cake. BBC (BlockBerry Creative) means... something else (oh and also the national broadcast BBC) Telling someone I listen to Twice will result in them asking me who I listen to twice. Everytime someone says 80s, I always hear Ateez, so I think they talk about kpop xD.
also, as an SM stan, I don't think blaming everything to LSM is healthy. I know he's had the biggest influence in the company in terms of producing, managing the artist, and everything else, but hating Lee Soo Man just because my bias got the least line, they didn't protect their artists, they don't promote artists properly, their stylists are biased, this and that, is so overrated. ppl need to grow up. we know SM is a BIG company and for a content/regulations/music to be released, a lot of ppl(company heads, managers, producers, etc) need to give their green light first just like Amber said.
Oof I see so many people complain about LSM when he's not even the CEO anymore, I'm sure he still has a say in creative decisions but he's not managing all of these groups on a daily basis 😭
@@usha.sara_ yes we know that, but there are still 'some', if not a lot, who directly blames LSM for such shortcomings of the company on managing artists and other stuff... esp those who doesn't ult stan SM artists...
Tbh SM is a rich company, they have earned millions with all of their artists over the years. But tbh what's the point of having a load of money when they can't even sue people that harrass/send death threats to their idols. Yes there are many people to keep track of but it's annoying how SM doesn't use their power to at least put out a warning to these people by telling them that they will get sued or pay a fine if they continue to harrass SM idols.
@@luzzzzzyc well you need know what happens behind the scenes since they aren't really public about these type of things. And haters/antis/saesangs are pretty sneaky, sometimes young and it can be hard to take action against all of them. Like the person before me said, idols themselves also might not want to take action either so it can be a bit more difficult.
I'm the one that sent in the MAMAMOO AYA confession, I get that some artists don't get any say in their stage outfits so I don't blame them, it's the company's fault for that, tho I still feel a bit uncomfy watching that Chinese themed stage, still love their songs tho :D

I have a question for kpop stans: if using elements of another culture ( not mocking it ) and combining it with your culture, how is that cultural appropriation? And if it is, then what is appreciation. Also, why are we gatekeep ig culture? Isn’t it something that is supposed to bring everyone together. I was asking some of my family back home, if they minded if korean celebrities wore braids and if it offended them; and they said no they actually like it because it’s like the korean people like our culture and want to take part and celebrate it. However my white friend the other day was rambling about how it’s offensive to black people etc etc.
i have to be honest with you. i have no idea how do these things work... i see stuff sometimes (in general not just idols) and i’m like oh thats so cool because i genuinely feel like they just appreciate other cultures but then i see the comments and how everyone is saying that it’s a wrong thing to do, but i don’t feel like it is?? obviously there is a line that people shouldn’t cross
Black Americans are automatically going to be more keen on gatekeeping because our culture has been abused all around us. And since im assuming "back home" is somewhere in africa for you, ur relatives don't experience that since everyone there is mainly black. Hopefully that helps u understand why we are more outraged😁
@@j1ung996 I mean but braids are are part of our culture too(?) and what is the line between appropriation and appreciation? Nobody can wear or incorporate anything outside their culture? I’m confused
@@dokyeooomm okk here's the thing ca is a very western concept if you will and I am from an Asian country and atleast here no one cares if someone from outside wears our clothes or hairstyles or jewellery infact more so than anything they are praised. So yes the ca is not a korean concept either but since recently k-pop is getting lots of western attention in almost every situation ca comes up like tbh a few years ago I didn't even know what that meant and majority of people outside western countries don't know either cos we just think that the if someone incorporates our culture it's appreciation. And I also see it as such. I don't get the ca either
Tbh in the first half talking about CA I did but at the same time i didnt agree.. like there gets to be a point where you as the fan and the artist themselves cant keep running to "oh i didnt know/they're korean they didnt know better." Okay fine let's say they did/said something and it was their first offense (ie. Blackface, braids, n-word) fine I'm willing to chop it up to ignorance especially if they were between the ages of 13-19 years old. But after that no they know they just dont care. (As in a repeat offense) Talking specifically from a black kpop stan experience I and many other black stans have tried to educate idols and companies (EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT OUR JOB TO DO SO) since the 2nd generation of kpop, but these idols continue to do the same damn things over and over again, so it makes it harder for me to let it slide/cut them some slack or blame it on ignorance I dont know at this point they DONT have to know WHY its offensive, they just have to know its offensive and not do it. but it's clear to me and many other black stans that they know they just dont care. (Edit) This is how I feel now, I might take some time and think and come back and try to explain what i mean in more depth.
Actually the real reason why EXOL were mad at Karina being in the ad with Kai was because one of her alleged friends from pre-debut posted screenshots of Karina badmouthing Kai, EXO and even some other artists. We don't know if the screenshots were real but it also had her mentioning her stage name and talking about the shoot she was supposed to do with Kai, which was suspicious because at that time no one knew either of those things.
Honestly when i was in the sm mistreatment part, i checked really quickly twitter and this is what was the first thing i saw! the irony! SM RESTOCKING REVE FESTIVAL DAY 3 AND OLD EXO ALBUMS????? THEY MUST BE GOING POOR OR SUMN CHZ
Nah, sometimes fans request it themselves. The same thing with NCT now. Fans requested a reprinting of old NCT albums especially the NCT 2018. Do u know how difficult and tiring it is to manufacture albums especially those that are not planned ahead of time? SM needs to come in contact with manufacturing companies to do that, and find a willing company to do it ofc. And with RV's and EXO's popularity, it isn't really shocking that fans would go to the extent of making petitions for restocking old albums :>>>>
I only crictize SM about their treatment about their female artists.... What happened to Fx? SM didnt back up Irene case at all... Aespa... Taeyeon, Snsd, BOA and 1st generation I dont have much info I am waiting so respectfully for Aespa full album and RV cb, but I wont be obsessed like bothering SM 247 because NOW there is a major problem like d33pf4k3s sites on south korea
So I was wondering... about the SM complain and exo-ls, if anyone can answer who's is more on the loop, do you think the exo-ls who complain are new to exo and they didn't get to watch all their promotions? the transition from shinee/fx to sm supporting exo? I'm just curious. Thanks for your videos, I just suscribed and they're really interesting :)
I don't think there's any particular group of EXO-L's doing it, I think it's more just the fans who are only interested in EXO and don't follow many other groups
"Without her position as main rapper Irene wouldn't have made it into the group" well... Irene is literally the most well rounded member in red velvet, dancing, singing and rapping are all good at least. These people just listen to RV title tracks and think they have seen it all
Soooo damn true!! Irene is the best all rounded member in RV and most people just listen to title tracks and think they know everything. To the people who think Irene is bad at rapping, they are stating this bcoz they haven’t heard the other songs like Campfire, alright,Rebirth etc
My issue with sm is them not taking care of the winwin in 127 or not thing, how members, their neighbours and even kyuhyun have talked about ssngs camping outside their dorms yet ssngs are still there, obviously how we were told that taeyong is on hiatus after he was cleared from bullying rumors but was filming superm content, ik they probably do smth about the antis in the silence but I think so sometimes follow up articles ot statements are good even for their business. SM is sk's top company, everyone has their eyes on them, on their artists, the least and the small thing they can do is release proper statements, I don't think so they will loose anything if they do that. Also about the western collabs the only one that felt good was hrvy and nct dream, the behind the scenes, and how they formed a friendship before the collaboration was cute. Also I don't usually watch these type of videos anymore bcs I find them rude most of the times (or at least I have only seen those ones) but your video was well made.
My kpop confession- i report jealousy analysis ship videos everytime i see them (in the stay fandom) for spam or misleading content. Reason for that is simply coz i know stray kids watch youtube videos about them (hyunjin even watches chemistry videos between him and seungmin 😂) and i dont want them to watch videos trying to make it seem like they are anything more than friends and also coz these videos create unhealthy mindsets in some fans. It may be mean to the creator but these videos go too far and need to be stopped. And just to clarify i dont mind normal “ship” videos which are just compilations of cute moments between members (like i said, hyunjin even watches them)
Yeah there are some... obsessive videos out there to say the least, like two idols could make eye contact for .001 seconds and people would say thEy'Re DatINg. If I were famous and people made that about me I'd definitely be weirded out.
@@sweetcherryarix3366 i have the same feelings with Hyunin jealousy videos and the worst part is that creator makes changlix and minsung ones as well 😤
@@a-z5915 ahh they annoy me sm because they obviously love each other as brothers, they even call each other as that, and i know that if they were to see a video like that they would feel so uncomfortable. i would too
YES SIS LOUDER WE SHOULD REPORT THE VIDEOS TOGETHER!!! okay like tbh don't you guys ever think that idols go on socmed too? Of course there's a chance where they stumbled on some grossful content like these? Look, the chance is low, but never zero :( Don't you think that they will act awkwardly around themselves after watching the videos? I hate when I stumbled over a video of ship analysis. for example, when V and JK went to the toilet at an award show, and when they were back to their seats, they seemed to be distant. And the video's creator had the gut to say that something happened in the toilet ( in a sexual way, of course 😒😒) and said something like "oh V want to make out with JK, and JK refused to do it right there, because they're at an award show, so V is frustrated with JK' s actions and proceeds to ignore JK for the rest of the show blah blah...." I was like, BRUH WHAT THE ACTUAL FUKUOKA FIRST, THE CREATOR IS OVER THINKING, SECOND THEY ARE DELULU, THIRD, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE BRUH JUST BECAUSE THEY BECOME DISTANT DOESN'T MEAN SOMETHING HAPPENED IN A SEXUAL WAY OH MY GOSH thank you in advance for hearing out my rant ☹️☹️☹️☹️
i HIGHLY agree with the third opinion. literally, i found many nctzens on twt saying renjun is a queer king for covering troye sivan and eric chou's song that was in a bl drama and i'm like no. you can't just speculate an idol's orientation based off of their musical preferences. we shouldn't project our identities to idols because they are their own person still.
with the first one i AGREE look at ex trainee Grazy tv on yt and i think they removed winwin with the CA thing i agree , but ppl hate on idols like eeho or kevin cuz they have an accent that can be considered a "blaccent" it can be bad but i say that cuz theyre foreigners so they sortta grow up with that but its just my opinion
(videos selcected at random): Uses Dreamcatcher and Irene&Seulgi fancams. Both groups/duos have been accused of using lesbian or same sex relations for clout/attention from audiences (talking about idols sexuality/private preferences). Uses Gidle video of the wearing henna, uses EXO Kokobop video focusing on Kai who was dragged for his dreads/locks for this era, uses Chungha Play music video who was dragged for the bull run scene/theme in her MV (all while talking about cultural appropriation). Uses ATEEZ MV, and Blackpink MV ( when talking about companies wanting to reach an international fan base instead of just Korea).
I think exols was pressed not from the thought of a rookie group was promoting with kai but the thought of karina has an issue with kai and sm let them have a collab while the issue was still hot i think that's why exols was pissed but its good now i think but for me its good now...
Also about the maw mv issue I am a muslim, so it ngl pissed me off seeing some Muslims claim that art style as mosque bcs u can't limit a mosque to some design,,, I have seen restaurants with that architecture in my country, their is a mall called amazon mall of Arabia in my country its under construction but the architecture idea is the same, there is a mosque in my country that doesn't have the Arabic art style does that make it less of a mosque. Why it pissed me more for Muslims is bcs they are from that religion they are supposed to know what is religious and what is just cultural.
My problem with Plastic Surgery 1. Yes! it's true that no one should be judged/ashame for that. Because is that person life, body and decision not ours. 2. BUT, it bothers me that they don't say it, that they don't admit it, WHY? Because many young people who are fans of these idols have complexes and insecurities because they think that the people they see through the screen are naturally beautiful, I have seen many comments that fans leave their idols like: "I can't believe she is real, is so beautiful" "she looks like a doll". It hurts me to see how these fans don't realize how toxic it's to glorify external beauty and compare themselves with their favs. without take into account that their favs are famous, their favs have so much MONEY and social pressure to always look perfect.
7:41 I'm a Muslim and an nctzen and I completely agree. Though from my point of view it wasn't that related to the Muslim culture, I respect my Muslim brothers and sisters who saw it as offended. Fans blindly defend their artists without taking into consideration what may be offending or wrong representation it may be towards culture / religion. Like ya'll the artist are not babies. You don't have to defend them from being called out for what may be offending for a culture / religion.
My opinions, but no ones care: 1. I totally agree. And it’s okay, because they are so talented and I don’t mind. I love natural beauty and hope that it is emphasized more in Kpop. 2. It’s hard for me, and same as you said. I know all the lineups and members, but changing everything is quite confusing. I do hope they stop adding members and just create a whole new group. It’s too messy to me. 3. I agree, and it’s really none of your business. Just stay out of their dating life and sexuality. People call them gay, and it might be a joke but it’s still awkward. 4. Kinda agree. Because many things aren’t appropriating but instead appreciating. It’s totally different, and people can’t tell the difference. And about the companies, the company might just think it’s not a big deal because they’re uneducated. 5. They don’t have a very good rap line, and I don’t care. Because that’s not even their main point. It’s mainly vocals and concepts that matter so the rap is kinda just an add on. 6. I hope people can stop talking about his passing. Because that’s not the main point, you should talk about him as a person and music. It’s really sad to see no one point out his talented artistry rather than death. 7. I totally agree. I feel like EXO and NCT are not mistreated. Because NCT is really active and never stopping. EXO has lasted for such a long time it’s already amazing. I’m just gonna say I hope Yeri gets promoted better... 8. Thats terrible. And it can be a way of coping but seek therapy or people in real life because Kpop is temporary and can go down real quick. 9. So agree. Just focus on the group and it will be better. If you want international fame, don’t do collabs. It’s so hard to work out and really isn’t worth it. Collabing with Kpop and Kpop is better to me. 10. That’s hilarious, honestly. 12. I honestly don’t know, like I’ve never watched the show I would think that too.
I wish the companies and general public took idols mental health more seriously and stopped stigmatizing it. Also I hope in the future they start taking defamation and sasaeng issues seriously as well, and giving repercussions as needed. The idols health and safety should be a top priority always.
If SM did not listen and put Mark back or did not stop graduation process those fans who are already existing was going to be really heartbroken. That's why in my opinion putting an end to the graduation thing was an act done by SM to please the fans, they actually listened what fans wanted, so i don't see any problem in that because when companies do not listen to fans we call them out and try to cancel them where here SM actually listened we should just say thanks
a lot of ppl associate jjong with the moon bc he agreed with a fan’s comment that he was like the moon who came out at night bc of his comforting radio show that started after midnight. he was also rlly sensitive/empathatic & the moon symbolises emotions, his last album cover of him also looks like the red moon which came out near the release date). some ppl keep this up bc it was a pre-existing thing between jjong & shawols. i do agree that it gets weird sometimes with some ppl use this (as if jjong wasn’t a real person). i don’t see a problem with seeing the moon & being reminded of jjong. i don’t like seeing pics of him with angel wings.
the SM mismanagement if yall really want to talk about it please i beg yall to make sure yall talk about thier privacy rather than line distrubution , screentime , comebacks, or not including a particular member and stuffs like that . im literally tired of sm ignoring those sasaeng and not sending bodyguards when they are in public .
(sorry for my english in advance) that companies react to a controversy in Korea faster than in other parts of the world is kinda understandable because for most groups the majority of album sales and general income comes from south-korea. ofcourse that doesn't make sense if companies want to break into an international market and then they ignore the complains from the audience there so i don't know. 8:09 i feel like nctzens don't have the right to tell you when you should or shouldn't be offended if you don't know anything about the person, and even then it's kinda rude because you don't know someone's values and can't decide wether or not they can be offended. (this goes for everyone btw) i'm an SM stan, and i gotta admit, i've said the things that the confessor is done with, and they are pretty idiotic i'll admit so i'll stop saying it. for the exo-l part, i also never got why my fellow exo-ls were hating on SuperM, yes the concept of creating a supergroup for america is kinda meh, but the music we got is amazing and SuperM is really succesful which is something exo-ls often say is not true. Also the whole Aespa hate is so dumb because the Aespa Kai thing was total fake news (that one of the members was hating on Kai).
About red velvet's rap, if you only listen to their title tracks then i guess i understand where people are coming from, their besides however, do show a variety of raps that i think many would enjoy (not only short raps as well) sm usually saves their best raps for besides ig
The OP who was angry with EXO-Ls is entitled to their own opinions. I will say what I think about the issue here 1. We are calling out the mistreatment towards Chen and his family. We have sent emails multiple times, begged SM to protect Chen. But they did nothing but put out a vague statement in early 2020 about how there will be no change of members. Some people say "maybe Chen does not want to sue the antis." Really? What kind of person would not want to protect their family and newborn child from malicious comments and d*ath threats? This also goes with Chanyeol's rumour. Y'all remember how fast they denied the dating rumour for Taeyeon? How they took legal action against antis of a trainee who had not even debuted yet? Yet they haven't done anything for Chanyeol. (don't come @ me with "he cheated tho lmao" bs, they were proven to be false multiple times) 2. Regarding how SM treats the members of EXO. The members could not even say Jongdae's name during a live stream. And right now, Chanyeol has not showed up in almost 3 months. If OP were an EXO-L, they would know how much he likes to interact with fans and talk to us on bubble and share his experiences in life. And before you come up with "maybe he is shooting for his movie", it's quite convenient that he only got busy since the day the rumour broke out, isn't it? We knew how much Sehun and Chanyeol wanted to perform their songs live. But EXO-SC didn't get to perform in the online concert. Same with Xiumin. He talked about how much he wants to perform on stage just a few days ago so please keep that "he just got discharged" shit to yourself. 3. SM said in 2019 I believe that they would take legal actions against EXO antis. They also said they were working with 10 law firms after Chanyeol's rumour. But nothing has been done. 4. Not even gonna start with the promotions thing. They hardly ever post on social media regarding the members' activities, especially Lay's. Shouldn't @weareoneexo post about the members' solo activities? IS THAT REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK? 5. I just want to know why the promotion period for EXO-SC's 1 billion views was 2 weeks and Superm's was 2 months. Both were done in the middle of a pandemic btw. (I am not a superm anti, I am proud of everything Kai and Baekhyun have been working on) Even with half the members being on hiatus, EXO still are SM's biggest money makers. We still do not want any special treatment. But at least protect and promote them omg
U r spilling FACTS the fact that they never had enough content from the debut.... And member leaving.... and harsh treatment towards Exo..... If this is not mistreatment then what is.... the fact that they even let ppl to have boards and stuff to protest outside sme building against Chen makes me so angry....
I definitely agree that SM needs to step up their legal protection of artists, they handled Chen and Chanyeol's situations poorly. I have no idea why SM wouldn't just deny Chanyeol's rumors in the first place. But I also feel like not mentioning Chen in livestreams and Chanyeol not posting might be a form of protection. There are unfortunately some very obsessive exo-l's out there, and SM may want to wait before involving them in activities again to avoid facing more backlash. It's what they do when any artist has a "scandal", from Irene to Kangta. I do think the lack of promotions for EXO-SC's album was inexcusable though, for some reason SM barely promotes subunits after the first one (like with Oh!GG)
13:30 I relate to this but also kpop has also in return made me more conscious about my looks and weight which has lede to consume less kpop media and instead just listen to the music
This is my unpopular opinions. Reminder it's okay if you disagree. I'm tired of hearing people say they want representation, but at the same time gatekeep. People bashed lana so badly and people are bashing faou from black swan, or saying it's weird she's a kpop idol. They also shout that something is cultural appropriation when really it's cultural appreciation. A good example is baam from momoland. People gave them crap and hate for that reason when really that was not the case AT ALL. Momoland wore cultural garments to appreciate their fans around the world and thank them for their success. This is why I don't believe people actually want representation. And if they do they want to be THE representation. No one else or they actually don't know what they want.
hi im a shawol and those sad comments usually come from non shawols i would say go to twitter or find someone who was a fan of shinee before 2017 because i would love for more people to know jjong and who he was and how great of a person he was, also he is seen as the moon for various reason but we must also celebrate his life xx

My kpop confession:
I think kpop makes kpop fans insecure and make their self-esteem low.
I know kpop is great and it makes us happy but i'm talking about the negative thing about it, notice that kpop idols debut around on their teen age mostly 15 to 20 years old, and some kpop fans are also teens, most of kpop fans compare themselves to kpop idols.
I always saw on meme comment section fans, "Wonyoung debuted at the age of 14, while me here i'm 14 too, on the couch eating my chips and doing nothing"
"wow they are already having career at the age of 17, while me here just doing nothing"
There's always things like that, those meme comments can also influence others on how they see themselves, once someone read that comment they will also be related to that because most kpop fans are teens.
We compare ourselves too much in idols, that's what I meant here
True, but I think what we all need to realize in general is that we can't and shouldn't compare our looks and "talents" to idols - that we can't look like idols is a given bc none of us can afford plastic surgery (and maybe it's better that way. Be happy with your looks people, you are beautiful 💅)
As for "talent": just cause you can't dance, sing or rap as well as certain idols can doesn't mean that (1) you can't learn it and (2) you as a being are just an utterly talentless, shitty and overall redundant individual. People should have more self-respect oh my god.
Thus, k-pop can instead work as some sort of wake-up call for us to pursue the interests we've always wanted to pursue, but were too lazy to. Or work as an inspiration for more or less amazing fanart (*cough fanfiction cough *); the creation of strong online communities (tho they are sometimes toxic) that can even clown Trump; interesting discussions about important topics like this one :D
I truly get your point, but it's not all bad. Maybe not everyone posting and liking the kinds of comments you describe is all that serious about it (tho many certainly are, which indeed is concerning). I suggest disliking these comments from now on and encouraging the commenters to look for the positive within themselves. Everybody has and can create something of value, of that I'm certain.

i stan both shinee & exo. shinee had two reality shows at debut (one is unwatchable), one after 5 yrs, & one in 2018 (before military). their yt channel just going now. exo got one in 2013,2014,2015 (yt channel contents), 2016,2017,2018 (cbx), 2019. their master list for shows they’ve guested on is also very long.

10. Kpop Stans are just always complaining in general.
11. This is kinda sad. But I agree with u.
12. Agree. Western collabs most of the time are just so blend. Written in the stars and Lo Siento are exceptions.

I hate how sm doesn't promote EXO-SC and that's definitely one thing I don't like and we have the right to call them out. Before the enlisments the promotion was really bad it got worse as years went by after obessesion it was also awful for quite some time. i totally agree with #2. when i first got into nct i rather found it so interesting, that i almost immediately got it and was never a problem with me, so it kinda made me mad how they would go on variety shows and have them explain it over and over again instead of doing the research? yeah
Sameeee. I was like 21 members? Let me check this group out and I got the concept no problem

An example of a good collaboration was Seventeen + Pink Sweat$
Seventeen's Joshua and DK collabed w/ Pink Sweat$ and both parties did a phenomenal job. Pink Sweat$ discovered them thru social media then contacted them, then both parties collabed and created a masterpiece. They didn't rely on the one or both parties' success and fanbase to hype up the song, they relied on making a good quality song. It's sad it doesn't get much attention.
An example of a bad collaboration is Selena Gomez + Black Pink
They mainly relied on each other's success as a way for both parties to get popularity for the song.

Not about his talents, achievements, music and personality.
out of topic but your voice is so soothing
Okay but the funny confessions made me laugh a lot, I loved them.
i think using kpop as a form of escapism to forget abt serious issues with yourself is INSANELY risky. If you're not thinking abt kpop and it might lead you into a serious depressive episode that's very dangerous. Your favorite idols could get in a career-threatening scandal or disband at any moment. The people that think this way are walking on a type rope, and the idols can cut that rope faster than I can snap my finger.
7:26 I'm christian, and sometimes (like in TO BE OR NOT TO BE of Oneus) I feel offended but I don't send any hate to the group to respect their work.
I can perfectly understand EXO-L complaining about EXO's comeback and content, we barely see more than 2 or 3 EXO members in each video (since OBSESSION's promotions were finished) and most of those interactions are because Baekhyun and Kai are in SuperM, we haven't had an EXO comeback since 2019, and much more
i still don't get it why some of few fans of exo & nct want superm disbanded and their twitter stan have a war and told superm to disbanded.
gurl- i mean this unit supposed to make both of group known out there even more. superm should be a the friendship mastermind between shawol,exo-l and nctzen

I have a question for kpop stans: if using elements of another culture ( not mocking it ) and combining it with your culture, how is that cultural appropriation? And if it is, then what is appreciation. Also, why are we gatekeep ig culture? Isn’t it something that is supposed to bring everyone together.

Tbh in the first half talking about CA I did but at the same time i didnt agree.. like there gets to be a point where you as the fan and the artist themselves cant keep running to "oh i didnt know/they're korean they didnt know better."
Okay fine let's say they did/said something and it was their first offense (ie. Blackface, braids, n-word) fine I'm willing to chop it up to ignorance especially if they were between the ages of 13-19 years old. But after that no they know they just dont care. (As in a repeat offense)
Talking specifically from a black kpop stan experience I and many other black stans have tried to educate idols and companies (EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT OUR JOB TO DO SO) since the 2nd generation of kpop, but these idols continue to do the same damn things over and over again, so it makes it harder for me to let it slide/cut them some slack or blame it on ignorance I dont know at this point they DONT have to know WHY its offensive, they just have to know its offensive and not do it.
but it's clear to me and many other black stans that they know they just dont care.
(Edit)
This is how I feel now, I might take some time and think and come back and try to explain what i mean in more depth.
lol exols be pressed on an AD? wtf? it's an ADDD???
Aespa...
Taeyeon, Snsd, BOA and 1st generation I dont have much info
I am waiting so respectfully for Aespa full album and RV cb, but I wont be obsessed like bothering SM 247 because NOW there is a major problem like d33pf4k3s sites on south korea
Yeah SM definitely mismanaged f(x)'s members imo and they also handled Jessica's situation pretty poorly...
Thank you both for your answers!
"Without her position as main rapper Irene wouldn't have made it into the group" well... Irene is literally the most well rounded member in red velvet, dancing, singing and rapping are all good at least. These people just listen to RV title tracks and think they have seen it all
Fr she's still the leader and the visual, she would definitely still have a place if she wasn't a rapper
@@YeriPotter ikr?
They're forgetting about her vocals and dancing skills 😏
Soooo damn true!! Irene is the best all rounded member in RV and most people just listen to title tracks and think they know everything. To the people who think Irene is bad at rapping, they are stating this bcoz they haven’t heard the other songs like Campfire, alright,Rebirth etc
@@suprith3072 campire rap lives in my head rent free
If I were famous and people made that about me I'd definitely be weirded out.
especially with minsung... i get so uncomfortable when i see videos about them that cross the line.
Look, the chance is low, but never zero :(
Don't you think that they will act awkwardly around themselves after watching the videos?
I hate when I stumbled over a video of ship analysis. for example, when V and JK went to the toilet at an award show, and when they were back to their seats, they seemed to be distant. And the video's creator had the gut to say that something happened in the toilet ( in a sexual way, of course 😒😒) and said something like "oh V want to make out with JK, and JK refused to do it right there, because they're at an award show, so V is frustrated with JK' s actions and proceeds to ignore JK for the rest of the show blah blah...."
I was like, BRUH WHAT THE ACTUAL FUKUOKA
FIRST, THE CREATOR IS OVER THINKING, SECOND THEY ARE DELULU, THIRD, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE BRUH JUST BECAUSE THEY BECOME DISTANT DOESN'T MEAN SOMETHING HAPPENED IN A SEXUAL WAY OH MY GOSH
thank you in advance for hearing out my rant ☹️☹️☹️☹️
I loved Sour Candy. That's it. That's the comment.
And, if you had Chanyeol as your look screen..... Gurl, you have good taste
National opinion
NCT saved 2020
i HIGHLY agree with the third opinion. literally, i found many nctzens on twt saying renjun is a queer king for covering troye sivan and eric chou's song that was in a bl drama and i'm like no. you can't just speculate an idol's orientation based off of their musical preferences. we shouldn't project our identities to idols because they are their own person still.
with the first one i AGREE look at ex trainee Grazy tv on yt
and i think they removed winwin
with the CA thing i agree , but ppl hate on idols like eeho or kevin cuz they have an accent that can be considered a "blaccent" it can be bad but i say that cuz theyre foreigners so they sortta grow up with that but its just my opinion
(videos selcected at random):
Uses Dreamcatcher and Irene&Seulgi fancams.
I still don’t know what fan cafes actually are 😂
Also about the maw mv issue I am a muslim, so it ngl pissed me off seeing some Muslims claim that art style as mosque bcs u can't limit a mosque to some design,,, I have seen restaurants with that architecture in my country, their is a mall called amazon mall of Arabia in my country its under construction but the architecture idea is the same, there is a mosque in my country that doesn't have the Arabic art style does that make it less of a mosque. Why it pissed me more for Muslims is bcs they are from that religion they are supposed to know what is religious and what is just cultural.
i don't think the videos were randomly selected 😭😭
YEAH LOL
SM stans love each other. Please for the love of god. Our idols are like brothers and sisters, our attitudes would break THEIR HEARTS.
My problem with Plastic Surgery
1. Yes! it's true that no one should be judged/ashame for that. Because is that person life, body and decision not ours.
2. BUT, it bothers me that they don't say it, that they don't admit it, WHY? Because many young people who are fans of these idols have complexes and insecurities because they think that the people they see through the screen are naturally beautiful, I have seen many comments that fans leave their idols like:
"I can't believe she is real, is so beautiful" "she looks like a doll".
It hurts me to see how these fans don't realize how toxic it's to glorify external beauty and compare themselves with their favs.
without take into account that their favs are famous, their favs have so much MONEY and social pressure to always look perfect.
Na SM really is working hard for their artists
They try
Trust me the freedom sm artists have now is way different than in the old days
7:41 I'm a Muslim and an nctzen and I completely agree. Though from my point of view it wasn't that related to the Muslim culture, I respect my Muslim brothers and sisters who saw it as offended. Fans blindly defend their artists without taking into consideration what may be offending or wrong representation it may be towards culture / religion. Like ya'll the artist are not babies. You don't have to defend them from being called out for what may be offending for a culture / religion.
tbh it would be so cool if physical fancafes do really exist all around the world and fans can do meeting to meet up with everyone
My opinions, but no ones care:
I agreed with everything you said!
You gained a subscriber :)
I literally LOVE the formatting and editing of this video! It must’ve taken you ages wow.
4:46 yes it's none of our business
a lot of ppl associate jjong with the moon bc he agreed with a fan’s comment that he was like the moon who came out at night bc of his comforting radio show that started after midnight. he was also rlly sensitive/empathatic & the moon symbolises emotions, his last album cover of him also looks like the red moon which came out near the release date).
some ppl keep this up bc it was a pre-existing thing between jjong & shawols. i do agree that it gets weird sometimes with some ppl use this (as if jjong wasn’t a real person). i don’t see a problem with seeing the moon & being reminded of jjong. i don’t like seeing pics of him with angel wings.
Thanks for including our kings A.C.E sm fellow choice🌵🤘 love💕
My confession was there. I'm so happy :)
the SM mismanagement if yall really want to talk about it please i beg yall to make sure yall talk about thier privacy rather than line distrubution , screentime , comebacks, or not including a particular member and stuffs like that . im literally tired of sm ignoring those sasaeng and not sending bodyguards when they are in public .
In a montg I will be a kpop fan for 2 years now and I still have no idea what fancafé means. And bow finding out that it isn't a building... :0
(sorry for my english in advance)
that companies react to a controversy in Korea faster than in other parts of the world is kinda understandable because for most groups the majority of album sales and general income comes from south-korea. ofcourse that doesn't make sense if companies want to break into an international market and then they ignore the complains from the audience there so i don't know.
8:09 i feel like nctzens don't have the right to tell you when you should or shouldn't be offended if you don't know anything about the person, and even then it's kinda rude because you don't know someone's values and can't decide wether or not they can be offended. (this goes for everyone btw)
i'm an SM stan, and i gotta admit, i've said the things that the confessor is done with, and they are pretty idiotic i'll admit so i'll stop saying it. for the exo-l part, i also never got why my fellow exo-ls were hating on SuperM, yes the concept of creating a supergroup for america is kinda meh, but the music we got is amazing and SuperM is really succesful which is something exo-ls often say is not true.
I will say what I think about the issue here
1. (don't come @ me with "he cheated tho lmao" bs, they were proven to be false multiple times)
(I am not a superm anti, I am proud of everything Kai and Baekhyun have been working on)
Even with half the members being on hiatus, EXO still are SM's biggest money makers.
No one else or they actually don't know what they want.
kpop def is a form of escapism for me
hi im a shawol and those sad comments usually come from non shawols i would say go to twitter or find someone who was a fan of shinee before 2017 because i would love for more people to know jjong and who he was and how great of a person he was, also he is seen as the moon for various reason but we must also celebrate his life xx

Hate me if you like but I HATE people using RIP instead just writing the whole thing, it seems so rude to remove all the respect and mourning through THREE LETTERS.
Agree, I feel RIP is often used in an ironic and jokeing kinda way
I agree so much with the plastic surgery one
I actually think that the reason they made nct dream a fixed unit is because the standards the nct dream members made. And they couldn't find someone who's young and as talented as the dreamies when they debuted.
