    Thank you so much Max!!! This was so informative!!! I’m currently considering using a long cane for when my light sensitivity and migraines are particularly bad and affecting my navigation, but I’ve been worried people won’t think I’m “visually impaired enough” because I can use a phone and drive, etc. thank you for answering my request for this video! 😄

      you're disabled enough! if you feel like you could benefit from it, use one. my vision is low to the point of not being allowed to drive and i still have the same impostor feelings despite being registered. don't listen to your internal ableist 🩵

    hi Max! i'm registered sight impaired and i'm on a waiting list for o&m. when i signed up i was upfront that i would probably only use a long cane in some situations and not be a full time user, it was no problem! no one has told me that in order to get o&m i have to need it all the time. so if you still feel like you need professional o&m, i'd definitely try
