  • I interviewed in March 2024 and received my offer I think late April 2024. It's now June and I've wanted to make this video for a while but better late than never lol
    What I covered in the video:
    How I prepared for the interview
    How the interview went
    What I did well and what I could've done better
    What are the interviewers looking for? I'd say your knowledge of physiotherapists as a profession (what they do in the community) and what values a physiotherapist should have.

    @PTAlvin Hi, thank you for the video. Just wondering about the personal statement part. Will two pages be too long?

    Hi, Alvin
    Did you take human anatomy and physiology during your undergraduate years?
    I need to complete these courses before the application.
    Which college/ university listed on the course website did you choose?

    Hey man great video! Did you apply for the Postgraduate study for Physiotherapy in Poly U? I'm graduated with a business major from HKUST and want to go into physiotherapy in Hong Kong as well. Looking at this program :)

      @PTAlvin  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Danny, I'm doing a bachelor's for PT but it doesn't matter too much since both programs give you the qualification to work as a PT in HK. Good luck!

      @@PTAlvin Hey Alvin, Thanks so much for replying. I also can't speak cantonese and wondering if that would be a huge problem haha. Do you know anyone in your program who can only speak english? Thank you!

      @PTAlvin  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@cl1ckdanny I don't think they'd take people who can't speak Canto for HK PT programs, since the majority of patients will speak Canto. This might differ for their Masters program though, and all the courses are taught in English anyways. I would just email PolyU directly and ask them :)

      @@PTAlvin thank you, but i also wanted to ask: polyu’s application site says that the IBO has to send the results directly to the university or I have to inform IBO to release the right for polyu to verify the score online. since my exam was last year may2024, how would it work? did you come across this as well? since you applied a year after your ib exams. thanks
