In a step towards simultaneous polls for the Lok Sabha and state Assemblies, the Union Cabinet on Wednesday cleared the proposal for One Nation One Election. The bill for holding simultaneous polls is likely to be introduced in the upcoming winter session of Parliament, sources said.

Mr SY Quereshi need to understand , a Bill is followed by changes in policies to enable it. Once this bill is passed then EC will have to ensure / plan to execute it in that fashion.

Single-phase Loksabha election with adhaar linked voter ID and biometrics to cast the vote should be the priority.
Rajyasbha members should win at least one Lok sabha election either before or after becoming a Rajya Sabha member and served one term.
