Super nice vid. Would love to a second part where you talk through what you did

Thanks! Happy to answer any specific questions you have here if that helps. It's been too long for me to remember all the specifics of how I jammed. I'm speaking about some of the techniques with the reverb in the Syntakt vs Digitone video though if you haven't checked it yet. Thanks for watching!

Really appreciate you taking the time to provide me with that feedback. Thanks for listening! I plan on uploading many more jams in the future, on the Syntakt and on other grooveboxes. Have a great week ahead!

Awesome chord progression and sounds, man! Love the part at 2:13 and the buildup to it. Did you do any post processing on it? It's really nicely mixed and sounds polished :)

Ivar, thank you so much for your comment! I don't know if you read the description of this video but all I can say is that I'm honored. 😊
I recorded the jam via Overbridge in one single take and only did "normal mixing" here, which in my case means level adjustments, high pass EQ on certain tracks and light glue compression. I did have to recreate the stereo panning of certain percussive elements since that information is unfortunately lost when recording via Overbridge. You can hear a completely unmixed version of this if you head over to my Syntakt vs Digitone review video at around 19:45. That recording is just on the stereo main outs (but still via Overbridge) with zero processing other than a limiter in Shotcut.
Thanks for the feedback on the 2:13 part! The buildup part is mostly subtle ctrl+all on the filter as I'm honestly not very good at these live jams yet. I find it hard to remember all the different tweaks I want to make for each part. Song mode helps a great deal to reduce the stress levels. Pretty happy with that bass track tuning trick though! 😂 Thanks again for listening. 🙏
