When you have 2 outside connections next to each other like you have set up and you want one to be cargo and one to be passengers, the best way to achieve this is by setting the "Cargo Capacity" of the passenger train line to 0. This will stop that outside connection from making any cargo offers at all and will reduce the number of failed matches that occur.
You can do this in Transfer Manager CE by opening the Outside Connection panel (CTRL+6) and then clicking on the outside connection you wish to change. This will then bring up the building panel with a "Capacity" tab with the "Cargo Capacity" setting.

Great episode. Adding trains to a build is such a nice thing. It really livens a city up. Great use of the parallel road tool

I'm one of those network junkies who can spend hours tweaking roads to make them just so. It gets pretty annoying when trying to keep lines separate with connections on all sides of the map.

@Fast Forward I actually use blank roads so I can go back with IMT and make all my roads identical. Or I can do them differently in specific districts if I want. The downside is that it's impossible to tell at a glance what you have until you put the markings on.

Is it really needed to show the finished cargo hub at the beginning of the video? Personally I prefer to keep the surprise and see the process first that the result
