Ngl I've found the Olympus enemies hit so hard that Sun Worshipper and the Charm Duo unironically do stonks because you can just get one enemy to clear the room faster than your own Aspect. Dionysus is actually one of the oldest deities from Ancient Greece, dating all the way back to the Mycenean times some five thousand years ago. References to him refer to wine as being 'derived from him' and him having a cult of women dedicated to his worship, tropes that would survive all the way until the Roman Empire when his worship was heavily restricted for being subversive to the Roman State. The entire new area is so dang scary. The damage ramp of surface enemies compared to underworld runs is ridiculous. Hopefully I'll beat it at least once before a patch, but I'm struggling, especially against Prometheus lmao.
A really good strategy is aspect of Pan with Apollo flourish building into his legendary with a good magic regen. You can manipulate the doors in Ephyra to get like 4 Apollo doors plus a hammer and Medea if she’s there
You could also try heartbreak strike with aspect of Artemis and the Apollo/aphrodite duo and just spam omega attack (could also pick up weed killer and Aphrodite legendary for origination)
The Aspect of Selene looks freaking beautiful and angelic, and yet really badass with its unique innate Hex that calls down freaking laser beams and also happens to share the same name as a James Bond movie that was released about 12 years ago. Selene must have been a firm believer in "less QQ, moar pew pew!".
I gotta say, this channel reminds me of old TH-cam. Between your calm demeanor, lack of editing, and almost ASMR voice these videos are such a breathe of fresh air from most of the platform.
The Black Coat functionally works like the cooler Twin Fists from the original game; you can punch with your regular attacks, and while you hold down the attack button, you can also block frontal attacks before unleashing a powerful attack by releasing, similar to the shield from the original game. Not to mention your dash-strike is an awesome uppercut Shoryuken style.
i just unlocked the new weapon have not did a run with it yet but the small amount of time I played around with it I can see the amount of fun that can be had.
Best designed weapon by far, with everything button regular and omega as well as each aspect having a use/being unique, this update is ODD to say the least but the black coat and the new surface content is the shining star of it for sure

So for selene on any fear, poseidon attack seems to be the go to for it since the dash strike procs waves 3 times, and if you get the dash strike hammer it goes to 9 waves per dash strike lmao. Couple that with hestia for scalding vapor and zeus spec + static shock and shit gets insane. However im really digging this omega attack angle wonder if it can be fast on any fear ...
I’d prefer a weapon to be complicated over simple as long as those complications are worth it, in this case I believe they are allows for a much higher skill ceiling

After watching boated play the weapon I have a gameplan involving Demeter missiles and Hecate keepsake, the strat is to freeze enemies with missiles and double omega punch them. Not sure which aspect to use here, maybe with cold storage and melione aspect triple omega might be possible🧐, I can put on death arcana and swap between special and attack omega especially if I get a heph duo that gets rid of freeze. lol I’m gonna call the build SUB ZERO😊

Loving the new weapon and now the surface in general, that difficulty spike ain’t nothing to mess with! It’s nice there seems to be a lot of compensation for that though with how many boons get offered across the run, seems much higher than the underworld
TH-camrs that are definitely better at the game than I all seem to like Zeus Blitz WAY more than I do. I almost never want it. What am I missing? This particular build i guess you only partly charge the spesh, so that might be why here in particular.
I don't know how I feel about the new weapon tbh.. I did an attack based and omega spesh based run on Mel aspect and they were PAINFUL , then re tried special + omega spesh onSelene and it went better but ughh if anybody has advice please let me know
I really like the new weapon and all the potential it has but I fear it may be too strong in comparison. Still have to try the Artemis blades with the death arcana cause that seems silly. Anyway really nice video, thanks algorythm!
I’ve seen Artemis blades crit for thousands of dmg, hard to get it set up tho especially in high fear where getting boons is not only harder but rarer boons cuts your max magick(primes it)
The axe is still the best choice for weapons.. ya it sucks that they took off the block but with the new additions you can get on it aspect of charon is still the best weapon in game I think
For me it’s Eros, being able to attack off screen for long periods of time is a god send, Charon is up there for dmg but without the slowdown to help you set up omega special your a sitting duck to projectiles🥲, than and Artemis are the most flexible weapons imo perfect for high fears.

If I wasn''t impatient I could of played better, I was also seeing what would happen if you had engraved pin on with athena's stalwart defiance and its interesting

Imagine Dio granting a drunken dash granting +dashes but the subsequent ones after first dash goes to a random direction
I don’t think extra dashes would work well with hades 2 but drunk dash is cool

It’s a tough weapon to use that’s for sure, I thought her sprint will be godlike but enemies on max fear speed still was able to track me with ease😅
