I tried this on my Louis Vuitton bags and I am very happy to say that this method has worked so well on my bags!! My Louis Vuitton discovery backpack PM bag looks brand new again! It does not grease the bag at all my bag is nice and shiny!! And it gave it a nice clean as well! The canvas is so shiny like the day I brought it 2 years ago! Before I did this I pre cleaned my bag by using the LA totally awesome spray Diluted with water and I wiped it off with a non alcoholic baby wipe! It really gives it the best clean and shine!! I just want to say think you for sharing this bro and making this video! Sharing the knowledge and the tips on how to do this method if you didn’t make this video I would have never known to do this! Thank you again bro I appreciate it! I’m just so happy this has worked for me and my bag looks so clean and shiny again like brand new! 🙌😊

Great video, I would look into 303 Aerospace Protectant instead of Armor All if you get the chance to. All the car guys I know with vintage cars swear by it for their dashes and any plastic interior, it's a good UV protectant that you can find at some autopart stores if not online. Apparently Armor All can dry out the plastic over time 🤷 just a suggestion if you want to do more research . Thanks again 😊

Hi! I have a LV Speedy in my closet that I haven’t used since the 80s! You are inspiring me to get that baby out and get it looking nice again, and using it! I already watched your leather condition/clean video, and I’m going to watch your brass and lock shining/polishing one next. Question: if I don’t ever plan to sell this bag, would you recommend putting a strap on it? I watched a video, just before I found yours, where a lady had put really nice rivets on each side of her Speedy, and attached a strap. I really only use crossbody and shoulder bags, now that I’m in my 50s! What do you think? And do you ever refurbish LV straps and resell them? Thanks again for your great videos!
I am a new subscriber...love your videos! Maybe you could do a video on how you clean the inside lining of your LV items? What do you do to eliminate or prevent odors? How do you store your items to best keep their shape? Lastly, since you use apple leather conditioner...do you use the apple guard spray after the item is clean to protect the leather?
S.E. Fenno all wonderful questions and great video ideas! I will be making videos for all of those shortly. For the last question, the answers is no. I usually sell my bags and I don’t want to make that decision for someone. However, Apple guard does work! It just prevents any further patina which some people don’t like. 100% personal preference!

S.E. Fenno well, it depends on the bag. If the bag is newer I like to let it patina until I am happy with it’s glow. If it’s old and it’s already the color I want, I make sure it’s clean and then apple guard is a good option. As far as cleaning in the future, it makes it impossible because the leather is protected. This should mean, however, that it won’t need cleaned in the first place.

I'm not the creator of this video, just a person watching it and reading comments. Before putting the ArmorAll on, i would first clean your Monogram canvas with Water wipes (not to be confused with baby wipes). These can be purchased online and are great for both Canvas AND your Vachetta leather. I have never used Armorall on a bag, but he definitely is correct, the canvas is simply 'canvas' - you might even check into Sonax brand - it's what i use and is a high end brand that i use to shine and protect the interior of my Mercedes. (does the same as Armorall, just w/ better ingredients).

I would not use saddle soap on canvas bc it’s meant for cleaning leather only. The canvas is basically coated in plastic which is why the armor all is recommended

Can you share a video or give me some tips on how to repair/clean the calfskin, restore the edge of the bag & also - I know scratches on the metallic oversized LV magnetic lock can get scratches overtime but any tips on how to make them appear less? Elizabeth Hernandez calfskin is really pretty easy! Since it’s real leather, you treat it just like the Vachetta. To clean and condition it watch my vachetta cleaning video and use the same products. Especially the conditioner, it will feel so nice! The edges can be fixed with edge dye which I explain in another video with an epi leather bag. I shine up my hardware with brasso (I explain that in my epi leather video) but I plan on making a video about that soon.

I am very excited to use it, because I tried with olive oil, bio oil, almond oil and nothing fixed it! Including LV, witch said that they don’t have any solution!
I had a question recently I just received a brand new Damien ebeene Odeon tote bag and the outside of the canvas feels really rubbery. Is that normal Just wanted to know if you had any ideas thank you so much. It’s strange because all of my other canvas feels kind of like more constrictive and not so soft but this one’s like almost soft, super extra buttery, soft and rubbery let me know any ideas. hi is that canvas the symbols having a greenish/yellowish hue to it too? my oldest LV bag is a speedy from 2007 and the symbols on the canvas has turned a greenish/yellowish hue almost like the one in the vid. but my newer LV eva from 2015 the hue of the symbols on the canvas is like a brownish hue.

This an old video but do you by any chance have knowledge on cleaning the canvas on multicolor monogram canvas? I just recently bought a multicolor trouville in white and I'm freaking out about destroying the print if I want to spruce it up a bit. I will definitely use your tips for sprucing up the leather as that is where the age is seen.
You should deff try acrylic paint from a hobby store. They have the matching multicolor acrylic paints, you just have to have a good eye on scouting them out.
My keepall shipped flat in a box (no surprise) will this help with creasing? Or what would you recommend instead? Thanks in advance, your videos are a huge help

Thanks for the video. I have recently tried to clean the canvas with the leather cleaner. To my horror, the LV prints lighten, to the extend that it is 70% gone. Is this any suggestion to restore it. Will this spray helps?
What happens if u spray water repellent & one spot is darker , will it stay like that ? I think I sprayed 1 area too much , it’s been hours. It’s still way darker than the rest of the vachetta. 😢

You should deff try acrylic paint from a hobby store. They have the matching multicolor acrylic paints, you just have to have a good eye on scouting them out.

Thanks for the video. I have recently tried to clean the canvas with the leather cleaner. To my horror, the LV prints lighten, to the extend that it is 70% gone. Is this any suggestion to restore it. Will this spray helps?
W Y unfortunately once the print is gone, there is nothing else you can do to get it back. This spray should protect it and help prevent future damage

Try the apple leather condition, first clean if vachetta is dirty. He has a video on cleaning & condition for very old lv bags 🤗
